His Terrorised and Tormented Queen

Ellanna with the new sudden darkness took a deep breath and stood up straight all the while trying not to panic, she knew that all she needed to do was find a way back to the foyer and hope that she could find a means for some light. She remained still while she looked around her to see if she could see anything at all that might help her but everywhere was pitch black then without further hesitation she started to walk back along the hallway with her arms extended and guided herself along the walls. After making it what seemed about two thirds back along the hallway as quickly as the candles had extinguished they all ignited again, Ellanna stopped walking and listened very carefully to see if she could hear anyone around. During this she thought to herself that with all the strange things happening if she hadn’t already thought so that there was definitely something weird going on there and not just in the cabin, ever since she had awoken in the meadow things had certainly been extremely weird. Ellanna shook her head before continuing proceeding back to the foyer, when she arrived back there she still couldn’t see any sign of anyone and decided that even though her best course of action would be to leave the cabin she might as well check upstairs. As she stood at the bottom of the stairs she paused wondering if it would really be a good idea to continue up them, then taking a deep breath and saying to herself with a low chuckle “well nothing ventured, nothing gained” she proceeded to ascend what seemed to be a rather steep and extra long staircase. Reaching the top Ellanna came into the middle of a corridor that three doors going down the right side and five doors down the left. She decided to try taking the right side first and walked straight to the end door which seemed to be locked, having no luck with that door she proceeded to try each of the doors as she was passing them without stopping when she reached the top of the staircase she tried the doors down the left side too. It wasn’t until she reached the last door that she found one that was unlocked, with caution she slowly opened it. Once Ellanna has entered the room the door slammed shut behind+ her again leaving her in darkness, after a few seconds though a small light seemed to flicker on the other side of the room beckoning her to approach so taking slow steps and listening carefully she proceeded towards it. As Ellanna got closer she noticed that the flickering light was a dimly lit lantern on a small table with two chairs, arriving at the table there was a folded note that had her name on it which she picked up to examine and dropped when she read ‘my child please take a seat I won’t be long’ not knowing who the note could have come from but hoping to get some answers she took a seat and waited even though she was really creeped out by the note. While Ellanna was sat there she could have sworn she heard someone talking to her and pleading for her to wake up, the voice was familiar and very distant but before she could try and place who it was it was gone again. Suddenly the lantern started to flicker like a strobe light before it became solid again and when it did she wasn’t sat alone at the table any more, sat with her was a woman with raven coloured hair that flowed down past her waist, she was extremely beautiful and had violet and silver eyes and pale skin that appeared to be more radiant by the violet gown she adorned. Ellanna was captivated by the woman who she could only describe as a Goddess before her, she came back to her senses when the woman spoke “my child, it is time you embrace your true nature and learn about your heritage and what you are destined to achieve” Ellanna sat wide eyed at this and then in almost a whisper “who are you? And how do you know me?” the woman just smiled and said “I am Selene, although you know me as the Moon Goddess. I know all werewolves and especially my own daughters” not sure how to respond to that Ellanna remained silent and let Selene continue “it is time for your inner Goddess to awaken and transform you to take your place as the true Queen of your kind for only then can peace prevail” Ellanna took a few moments to process what Selene had said before asking “why me? How am I meant to bring peace to our kind? What do you mean by it’s time for my inner Goddess to awaken? I’m just a 17 yr old girl what makes you think that anyone will listen to me?” by this point Ellanna was starting to have a panic attack so Selene said “stop! Breathe child. You are the heir to the throne being from the royal family themselves and you are my daughter which gives you the powers of those before you too. Every five hundred years I bless the royal family with one of my daughters, each has a power unique to themselves and also possesses the powers of her predecessors after the first power shows the rest will manifest every few months until they have all unlocked. Once you have unlocked all the powers you will gain the memories of all those before you as well. You must control your powers and not allow them to control you, your powers must be used for the right reasons and not for self gain or you will pay the price although if used in self defence that does not count as self gain, I know you are young and have been through so much already but this is your destiny and I already have a good feeling about you. You still have a long way to go before you achieve your purpose but you must learn from each experience you face, nothing in life is ever easy and you must decide whom you put your trust in as not everyone that seems to be a friend is one. Is there anything you wish to ask me now?” Ellanna blinked a few times and thought carefully before asking “when will I start to see the changes?, will my mate be trustworthy? and how will others know to accept me as their queen? I’m guessing that this is a dream so how do I wake up?” Selene waited a few moments and said “others will know from your aura once your transformation is complete, your mate will make mistakes and it is up to you to decide if you deem him trustworthy enough and you are here with me now because the transformation has begun. In order for you to wake up you need to simply want it badly enough and be at peace in your own mind” and with that Selene vanished leaving Ellanna alone to think over all the new information she had just received. After thinking about everything for a little while Ellanna realised that the room she was in had become more illuminated and that on the opposite side of the room from where she had entered there was another door that said exit, she went to the door and found it locked before hearing in the distance “remember in order for you to wake up and return you need to be at peace with your own mind and simply want to return badly enough” this left Ellanna confused and wondering how she could achieve peace of mind when she wasn’t sure what was conflicted in it, so grabbing a chair she sat and became lost in her thoughts.
