Ellanna opened her eyes to find herself in a beautiful meadow, she wondered how she had gotten there but when she went to stand she noticed she wasn’t wearing the royal blue sundress any more but an elegant ankle length silver off the shoulder evening gown. Ellanna thought to herself that it was really strange, why she was in the middle of a meadow in an evening gown was baffling let alone the fact it was the middle of the day and the sun was beaming down too she was really confused. “Ellissia what’s going on” but there was no answer, so Ellanna tried again but still no answer. For the first time since she was 13 she felt completely alone. Trying not to panic Ellanna knew that she needed to keep her wits about her so she proceeded to walk forwards to evaluate her surroundings. Everything was eerily quiet as she moved forward looking around and it seemed as though there wasn’t another soul around, it also seemed as though the meadow was endless. Any other time it would have been a beautiful scene, so peaceful and tranquil but with the current circumstances Ellanna felt a strange unease about it but couldn’t quite put her finger on what felt wrong. After what had seemed like walking miles through the light blue forget-me-not flowers that had covered the path that she had walked Ellanna could see what seemed like an abandoned cabin in front of a beautiful waterfall in a small clearing, she very cautiously approached the cabin to see if there was any sign of someone else being there after all sometimes appearances can be deceptive. The cabin looked very old and as though it needed a lot of maintenance, the door looked discoloured and the wood looked rotten, the windows were boarded up and missing the glass, the walls looked like they would crumble any minute and the roof looked as though it would only take one torrential rain storm to bring it down. Ellanna thought that it seemed a shame that with such a beautiful surrounding the hut had been left in such disrepair. Ellanna remained alert and went to the windows to see if she could see anything but it seemed as though the boards on the windows were secure enough that she couldn’t see inside so she carefully made her way to the door. Ellanna paused and listened carefully hoping that she would still be able to use her werewolf hearing but couldn’t hear anything coming from inside, she decided to look inside the cabin even though she had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right. As Ellanna touched the door handle she started to feel a mystical tingling feeling starting through her hand which caused her to gasp and quickly release the door, as soon as contact with the door had ceased so did the strange feeling and deciding that she didn’t want to feel that again she kicked the door with such force that with how weak it looked it should have come off it’s hinges but instead she was forced backwards with such power that she fell on her backside. Ellanna sat where she landed for a moment to contemplate what had just happened and came to the conclusion that trying to enter the cabin with force wasn’t going to happen but she didn’t particularly want to touch the door handle again so after some deliberation decided to use part of the skirt on her dress to stop her skin from directly touching it, she slowly stood up and approached the door again lifting the bottom of her dress and putting it over the handle she attempted to open the door but the handle wouldn’t turn the only benefit she did have was knowing that taking a slow and non-aggressive approach to enter the cabin didn’t cause her to be thrown away from it. Having no other option Ellanna took a deep breath and counted to three then proceeded to directly grip the handle to open the door as quickly as she possibly could, this time the door opened and as soon as she could release the handle to stop the strange feeling she got from it she did. From the outside the cabin was particularly small and seemed as though it would consist of 1 small room but now being on the inside Ellanna’s jaw dropped as it looked as though she was inside the foyer of a huge mansion that had been decorated back in the Victorian times and very well maintained. Looking around Ellanna noticed that there still didn’t seem to be anyone around and with the size of the place she didn’t know where to start looking, after a little while of trying to grasp what was going on she decided that staying in the foyer wasn’t going to get her any answers to know what’s going on, where she is or why she can’t feel her wolf. To her left and right there appeared to be living rooms each decorated in different colours but furnished very similar, in front of her she found an elaborate staircase to the left hand side and on the right there was a hallway that led further into the house. Finally deciding she thought she’d check the living room to the right first and carefully approached the doorway she stopped before breaching the threshold of the room to see if there was any sign of anyone there but still with no sign of anyone she went to walk into the room to abruptly stop unable to enter, although she couldn’t see a visual reason why she had stopped but it felt like she’d walked into an invisible wall. Deciding to try the other side it was exactly the same so now she had to decided whether to explore the hallway or climb the staircase, figuring that she might as well check the rest of the floor she was on first she headed down the hallway cautiously looking around in the process. Even though there hadn’t been a sound as Ellanna felt as though the house was getting quieter as she ventured deeper into its depths, it seemed as though it was getting darker too and candelabra on the walls became fewer and far between. Eventually Ellanna found herself at the doorway to a huge dining room that had a rectangular table and chairs in that could seat about 20 people with candles equally spaced out and a huge floral centre piece, very carefully she stepped forward to see if she’d be able to enter the room unlike the living rooms she’d seen earlier again she was unable to progress by an invisible wall meaning her only option now would be to make her way back to the staircase and check upstairs but as she turned to do so everything went dark as all the candles extinguished at the same time.
