His Terrorised and Tormented Queen

The morning went by quite slowly with nothing of importance happening and classes going by as usual, that is until lunch time. As Ellanna and Annabelle headed towards the canteen for lunch Ellissia was becoming more restless, “what’s wrong? Are you OK? You seem preoccupied with something” Annabelle asked, “I'm fine, just my wolf seems to be getting more and more restless as the day goes on, I mean I'm excited and terrified about finding my mate. I know it’d be nice to find him but what if I’m not what he wants or he doesn’t like my past and he rejects me?” Ellanna almost whispered before adding “Is Zara joining us for lunch?” Ellanna said gaining a sympathetic look from her friend “I’m sure it’ll be fine Ells after all your beautiful inside and out and if he can’t see that then he won’t be worth it, he’d be a fool to reject you. I know how you feel though as I’ve been thinking the same and my birthday isn’t for a couple of months yet.” Annabelle said thoughtfully before adding “I think Zara is going to meet us in the canteen with Lucinda and Angelica.”

The canteen was the same as your typical school canteen, a huge hall with magnolia walls, tables and chairs in rows throughout the room and your usual cliques in their groups around the room. In the far left hand corner sit the popular crew which consist of the future Alpha’s and Beta’s with the school sluts hovering around them as usual trying to get positions of power. The sluts are Marcia, Isabella and Clarissa, who think that they are the queens of the school and with their clothing choices might as well not be wearing anything at all as their outfits don’t leave much for the imagination. They believe that because they are ‘pretty hot’ that they are entitled to what ever they want and are better than everybody else. All three of them are 18, medium height and thin as twigs, Marcia is a little taller than the other two and shorter than Ellanna. In the far right corner is the table where Ellanna, Annabelle and Zara usually sit with Lucinda and Angelica. Lucinda is Lucifer’s twin sister, she is a lot shorter than her brother with a build similar to Ellanna although she has less curves and long straight jet black hair down to the bottom of her shoulder blades and grey eyes. Angelica is 17 and is Charles’s sister, she’s medium height with a little curve to her structure but not much, strawberry blonde hair in a pixie cut and blue eyes with brown flecks in them. All five of the girls are highly intelligent straight A students, they trained to fight but not to the same extent as the high ranking males of the packs and fully able to defend themselves, they could pass as extremely beautiful nerds but due to their Alpha bloodlines nobody dared to label them as such, although Ellanna’s bloodline was still a mystery to most.

As Ellanna and Annabelle approached the canteen Ellanna started to smell something different than normal, it smelt like ocean spray with old spice “can you smell that?” Ellanna asked Annabelle “no what does it smell like?” was the reply “ocean spray with old spice” Ellanna said whilst trying to locate the source “I can’t smell anything like it. Do you think it means your mate is near by?” Annabelle asked excitedly “possibly but I don’t know” was Ellanna’s reply whilst looking around then Ellissia shouted in Ellanna’s head “mate, I smell our mate” Ellanna then whispered to Annabelle “Ellissia has just told me she smells our mate” Annabelle whispered back “I wonder who he could be” and they continued to walk in silence. As they walked into the canteen the smell got stronger and Ellanna was becoming more curious of who could be the source of the smell but decided against trying to find it and went through her usual routine of getting her lunch and sitting down at their usual table. By this time Ellissia was going mad and telling Ellanna to find their mate as he was in the room but Ellanna refused instead Ellanna looked around the room and noticed that the smell seemed to come from where Charles, Xavier, Lucifer, Benjamin, Damien and Aiden were all sat but that didn’t exactly help to narrow down who her mate was as she knew that all six of them were currently mate less. Ellanna rolled her eyes when she noticed that Charles had Marcia sat on his lap, Benjamin was flirting with Isabella and Damien had Clarissa all over him, she smirked when she noticed that Xavier, Aiden and Lucifer were looking at them in disgust, this was nothing unusual for their group. She had heard a rumour that Xavier, Lucifer and Aiden are all saving themselves for their mates, Ellanna is really hoping that the rumour she’d heard was true and that her mate is one of them even though she doesn’t know much about them. Ellanna had already decided that if her mate turns out to be one of the man-whores that she wouldn’t give them the chance to reject her as she would reject them due to the amount of baggage that would accompany them, She thought to herself that if her mate does turn out to be one of Xavier, Lucifer or Aiden and he doesn’t reject her that she would have plenty of time to get to know everything about them, secretly she was hoping that her mate would be Xavier as she’d had a crush on him from the first moment she’d seen him although she had kept that to herself.

 Angelica grabbed Ellanna’s attention by asking “so Ells any idea who your mate might be yet? Have you felt any different or smelt him?” Ellanna wondered whether she should tell the girls that her mate was in the room or not as she didn’t want to get them all excited at least until she knew who he was and whether he was going to reject her or not but as she’d already mentioned to Annabelle that she had smelt him she decided to tell the other girls too. “well I can smell him but I don’t know who he is yet and I still don’t know if he will accept me so I don’t want to make a big deal of it. Can we change the subject?” was her reply and they all looked at her with amazement. All the girls then said “well I hope it’s my brother” with Zara and Annabelle adding in synchronisation “you’d be an amazing sister” Lucinda added “I don’t know how you can be in the same room as your mate and not try and figure out who it is immediately, I know I couldn’t I would be hunting him down straight away” Ellanna simply said “it’s something I need to figure out elsewhere and hopefully in private so I know if he wants me or wants to reject me” Angelica then asked “why wouldn’t he want you? What makes you think he’d reject you?” Ellanna’s response made them all understand why she was so insecure about her mate when she said “because of my past he might not accept me plus I’m not exactly the hottest girl in the school” although Zara added “well you certainly look it today!” which made all five of them laugh.
