Xavier’s wolf Rhys was feeling restless and had been most of the day Aiden had noticed a difference in Xavier’s behaviour and being his future Beta he mind linked Xaiver “Dude are you OK? You don’t seem yourself?” Xavier replied via the mind link “I don’t know to be honest, my wolf has been restless all day and since we sat down he’s gotten worse along with the smell of apple and cinnamon which started weak and now its gotten stronger but I’m assuming that because we are in a canteen that smelling apple and cinnamon is probably normal but who knows” Aiden was shocked with Xavier’s reply but asked in return “what if your mate is in here?” Xavier took a moment to think about it and said “it’s possible but what makes you think she might be?” Aiden gave a smirk and said “because I can’t smell apples or cinnamon in here and what with the sluts perfume being so strong I’m surprised you can smell anything, that stench is burning my nostrils. If the scent is getting stronger then I’m guessing that she’s in this room right now. What does your wolf say and Who do you think it might be?” at that moment Rhys yelled in Xavier’s head “mate. Our mate is in here go find her now” Xavier then said to Aiden through their link “He says she’s in here...” they were brought out of their private conversation by Lucifer when he simply said “well if you’ve quite finished your private conversation can I please be included in something as at the moment I just feel like I'm imposing on my own here what with those being the way they are” as he gestures with a look of disgust over to the sluts with their usual victims. Xavier and Aiden just laughed but Xavier started to look around the room to try and figure out who his mate might be, he eventually narrowed it down to the table where his sisters were sat which meant it was either Angelica, Lucinda or Ellanna. He couldn’t remember how old they all were so he asked both Charles and Lucifer “dudes how old are your sisters?” Charles replied with “she turned 17 a few days ago, why? I thought you were adamant about waiting for your mate? don’t tell me you’ve got the hots for her?” Xavier shook his head and simply asked “has she found her mate yet?” Charles replied “no” Lucifer then looked at Xavier and said “seriously dude did you really forget that my sister is my twin and no she’s not found hers yet either?” Xavier’s eyes widened at that and he said “man I’m so sorry, s**t, yea I forgot” Xavier had managed to narrow his mate down to either Angelica or Ellanna when he realised that he’d already been around Lucinda a lot since they both had turned 17 so she couldn’t have been his mate.

Xavier knew a few details about Ellanna and he had known Angelica most of her life but he didn’t know if either of them would be a good mate. He knew that Ellanna was his sisters best friend and from what they had said he knew that she hadn’t had much luck until 3 years ago when the Gamma of the Crescent Moon pack found her took her in with their Alpha’s permission, that she is intelligent and from having seen her that she is extremely attractive but he knows nothing about who she is or what her bloodline might be, he also had no idea where she had been before she was living with the Crescent moon pack. Angelica on the other hand isn’t as attractive or smart as Ellanna but she is an Alpha’s daughter and the sister of one of his best friends, she does have a little bit of a privileged opinion of herself and doesn’t like it when things don’t go the way she wants. She seems to have a way of getting what she wants when she wants but doesn’t behave like a b***h or a slut like Marcia, Isabella or Clarissa, he really hates the way those three behave, he can’t understand how Charles, Benjamin or Damien can let them anywhere near them as they aren’t their mates but it wasn’t any of his business. When Xavier had first been told about mates he had decided he didn’t want any other she-wolf and he would save himself for his mate and only her, he wanted his mate to share all his firsts so he had declined any and all of the lust-fuelled advances on him. He hadn’t even kissed another she-wolf. He hoped that his mate had kept herself for him too.

 Breaking out of his thoughts he decided to be brave and figure out which one of the girls was his mate. “Guys I’ll be back in a moment” he said as he stood up from the table causing the rest of the guys to look at him. When he was asked where he was going he replied “I need to speak to my sisters” then he walked over to their table. When Xavier eventually arrived at the girls table after trying to get through the mass of students that where in the way he was disappointed as both Ellanna and Angelica had left to go to their next classes, now how was he meant to figure out which one is his mate? He had to come up with a plan, none of his classes were with either girl and then he remembered vaguely that Annabelle and Zara had been talking about Ellanna’s birthday and that there was going to be a party for her and Angelica but he couldn’t remember any of the detail of when the party was but he knew that both girls would be there, that would be the perfect time to speak to the girls. As he was there with his sisters he figured that he could ask them about it and find out when they had organised it for. “Anna did I hear you talking about a party coming up?” he asked trying not to give anything away as if they knew that Ellanna or Angelica is his mate they would start screaming with excitement. “yea, it’s Ells birthday so we’re having a party tonight for her and Angie as her birthday was a few days ago.” he pondered over her reply and then asked “is it private or can anyone go? The guys and I need to blow off some steam” Annabelle gave him a quizzical look and as she was about to reply Zara said “well its an invite only event, especially as we don’t want those in attendance and spoiling Ells or Angie’s night” emphasising the those whilst tilting her head towards the sluts on the guys table. Xavier gave a small chuckle and said “so if we don’t bring them can we come?” Annabelle raised an eyebrow at him and simply asked him “with how much they’re wrapped around Charles, Ben and Damien how exactly do you think you’d be able to come without them?” Xavier sighed he was at a loss for ideas when Zara said “tell you what big bro, if you can managed to peel those tramps off the guys for the evening then you guys can come or if you, Luc and Aide want a break from having to see the free porn show then it shouldn’t be a problem for you guys to come.” Xavier looked at them and said “I’ll talk to the guys and see what they say, by the way where is it just in case?”both Annabelle and Zara looked at him sceptically and said in synchronisation “find out what they say first as we don’t want the tramps to know where it is, if you guys are coming then let us know later and we can give you the location.” with that the twins walked away to go to class.
