The last school year

CHERRY POV) I stood at the front of a building sobbing really hard, the rain had just began to drop after the countless lightening and thunders, it was really scary out there, as I fell to the ground helplessly, a voice was heard from behind." cherry stand up and leave" ,the voice echoed in my ear drums and I refused to turn back, i knew it was a woman speaking just then i realized it was my mom i trembled in fear, " mom please help me" , i said with a shaky voice, meanwhile she started coming closer repeating the same words," stand up and leave" , she kept on saying but i was ignorant on that spot and helpless, where would i have gone?, i had thought, soon the rain began to fall heavily as my mother pleaded with me to leave, jus then strange beings started coming out of the building, they looked so scary, i usually watch movies with genres like horror, action and others and what was happening looked exactly like an attack have seen in the movies, could they be. zombies , ghosts or some weird creatures? i had thought. At this point my mom was already like them, she was a part of them but she was just tryin to warn me against the danger ahead but i didn't listen. As they came closer with the aim of killing me, i screamed really loud as i opened my eyes to reality, it was all a DREAM, i still couldn't believe it, felt like it was real, i trembling in fear covering my shaky self with a duvet, i turned on the light immediately cuz it felt like the creatures were right in front of me, i checked the time and it was 2 am. I usually have such dreams but this one was the worse, my mom was long dead, she died when i was six and since then, i live with my dad and his new family i guess , but the only person who cared about me more was my nanny who was now like my mom. Just then i heard a knock on my door, and i started trembling again, who could that be by this time of the night? ,i thought. " who......i..s.t..that? , i asked with with a shaky voice, just then i realized it was morning already and my door was always opened at all times and I covered my self with a duvet. " cherry it's me mira" ,she said as she walked closer to me , i uncovered my self. " what's wrong, u had a nightmare? " , she asked worriedly. " yeah it was really terrible..." , i hadn't finish saying when she pulled me into an hug, i felt so relieved and i begged her to stay and so she did. "Good morning dad ", i greeted walking towards the dining to have breakfast with the ..... family as usual, i just got back from Spain to spend summer and was hoping i would go back soon. We waited as the chef served the food. My dad was the famous Mr Baldwin everyone knew , he was a politician and a business Man , our wealth was everlasting, while my stepmom was a model , a successful one at that , who was so devoted and committed to her job and cared less about her children, instead cared about her waist and how to avoid body fat, she was so unbelievable. Richards and violet , her wonderful and perfect children like she always bragged. It didn't even feel like i had a sister cuz we never associated with each other, her brother was calm but was currently attending a therapy session cuz he was a d**g addict. My new family was more than weird despite all the wealth and riches , i couldn't just wait to return. The food were served as we all began to eat quietly and peacefully as violet broke the silence. " mom, dad what do u say about my trip to Australia?" , she asked. " School is about to resume and there wouldn't be any need for the trip" ,my dad replied and that got her mad. " dad why are you so cruel , when it comes to your illegitimate daughter, you give her everything she wants, she schools abroad and we are just here like a piece of trash" ,she spilled and i stared in awe. " dad do not listen to her , she's always this jealous of cherry" , Richard interrupted, even though he was an addict ,he still had a little sense of humor. Just then there was silence. " darling, violet is right, I'm not saying you should give her the chance to travel, but it's unfair, since our children can't school a to then they should all school here, it won't kill hee will it? " ,she had just cleared her mind and i was scared my dad was gonna listen to her. " dad please, don't let me school here" ,i pleaded as my stepmom gave me a bombastic side eye. " cherry don't be selfish okay? and besides we have one of the best schools here, you could join your siblings school and it's your last year " ,my dad said to me and that broke my heart into pieces, i knew he was gonna take her side, my siblings smiled happily so i dropped my cutlery and left the dinning, abi the craziest part of it all, my dad didn't even try to stop me, his new family were beginning to capture his heart, my step sister called me an illegitimate daughter and he didn't say a word. Here i thought i was gonna leave the weird house and return to my place of comfort , i guessed that was all over. "cherry you need to stop crying, it won't solve any thing" , she said to me as my eyes were filled with tears. " nanny what I'm i supposed to do , my whole life was in Spain, I've come this far, what happens to me , my life over there, my school for heaven's sake it's my last year and I'm supposed to graduate with my friends now I'm just gonna join some dum, stupid school" , i said with serious anger, it was all like a nightmare but it was a really i had to face . Few hours on, i sat on my bed scrolling through my phone and having some fruits, my favorite were apples, just then someone badged into my room , it was violet and i tried as much as possible to control my anger but couldn't. " what the hell are you doing in my room? " i asked furious. " heyyy calm down , I didn't come to fight okay?, i just came to set things clear, stay on your lane , I don't want you telling my friends in school that we're sisters ohhh scratch that, step sisters" , she explained and i just stood not even surprised. " so are you done talking? because i will never ever wish to be related to you, you disgust me and trust me I can't wait to see you fail over and over against" , i replied her in an ash tone, this time my dad's car horn was heard and violet walked out defeated, i had to give her a piece of my mind. Accepting my reality was really going to be tough, my nanny walked in with a box , she unpacked the school uniform in it, she knew i wasn't happy about it so she sat next to me. " cherry it's your last year, u don't need to worry" , she said smiling at me , it was just so unbelievable, i come back for summer and was never returning , it sounded off to me " fine I'll try , i hope i can cope in that school of theirs" ,i replied my nanny. " And promise me one thing" , she added. " nanny you know I'll do anything for you, i replied. " okay promise me that you will get up , cheer up and fit your dress , no dullings, she requested. " fine no dullings" i replied managing to smile. I stood up and picked up thy dress for a fitting, it wasa beautiful navy blue skirt, mini pleated, a white shirt, a wonderful and colourful tie with stripes and a navy blue suit jacket, it was beautiful , but still wasn't better than my school in Spain. ( ETHAN; ) I woke up to a really severe headaches, I was in pains as my face was squished and buried into my pillow, my hair was messy as i laid on the soft , wide and big bed, i realized i didn't even cover my self with a blanket. I was half n***d, revealing my backbones, shirtless, wearing just a pant, i laid peacefully, until a sharp beam of light struck my face, that was when I woke up with the severe headache . I guessed it was from the hangout last night, i had a lot to drink, and i wondered how i got to my bed. I feared my dad would be aware , because if he does figure out, i might be dead , ohh that's an understatement, he was going to kill me , i was really scared. Sooner i managed to sit up with my face buried in my palms as i groaned in pains, i put on my footwear and headed to the bathroom to take a cool shower. Don't be surprised, my life wasn't always like that , it was just one bad night. I took my shower as i recalled everything that happened last night. My best friends, Mateo and Luca invited me for an hangout and since i was depressed , i decided to flow with the vibe, i wasn't a type to get drunk easily, guess i was just so overwhelmed by the whole situation. I was sixteen, but didn't look like it, i was so matured. Really guy? Are you sure? I guessed the answer was no, my parents are divorced, so I only stay with my dad and guess what?, i was their only child though i heard that my mom gave birth to a girl but with her new lover. I still blamed my dad for letting her go. They were always fighting when they were together, he was so violent that sometimes he slapped her so hard on the face or slammed her head against the wall. It was an hateful scene, but i was never going to be like my dad , my mom was the calm one and soon she was fed up and decided to leave, i couldn't forget that day. I walked out of the bathroom and straight to the huge mirror in my bedroom which was spacious and simple , a guy's room shoulder be............ you know what i meant, unlike girls who would have their room decorated with colourful teddies, flowers and crazy shits duhhhh! . My hair was the first thing I cared for , I picked up the dryer to dry it.
