Chapter 3

Unknown POV:

"Sir, we found her. She seems healthy and well taken care of. Do you want us to take her in?"

"No, not yet. Keep an eye on her and report back as usual", I responded back.

So that is where you took my daughter Madie. I'll make you pay Madie, you and your brothers when I get my hands on you.

Madie's POV:

I sensed someone watching me close as I was making my way to my car. I went to a*****e near by and sprayed the perfume my brothers had given me to hide my scent from other werewolves. I bought new clothes for Mari and I since the Luna of the pack was making plans for the week that leads to Mari's 16th birthday. As I made my way back to my car, I got a call from Mari's school. What did she do this time?

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello, is this Mari's guardian I am speaking with?" said the woman at the other end of the phone call.

"Yes I am. Is she in any trouble?"

"No she isn't in a lot of trouble, I was calling to let you know she left the school grounds without permission whatsoever."

"Oh, okay thank you very much for letting me know."

"Your welcome ma'am. Have a nice day"

With that, I hanged up and drove home hoping she would be at home if she had left by herself. I hope those men that were watching me closely don't have to do with Mari's father. Me and my brothers were so close to reaching our goal by having Mari with us. Since she is the daughter of the moon goddess, she has great powers she is unaware of and we can control it to our liking.

I moved to California with Mari when she was one to separate her from her family. Knowing that in California lived the most powerful pack in America, the Heart moon pack. Knowing that Mari's mom would try to pair up her daughter with a person that could protect her and was closer to her, we searched for the strongest pack that had a son close to Mari's age.

My brothers and I decided that Max would be the best person to be Mari's mate. Max knew that Mari was a werewolf and that I was one myself. I told Max and his family that Mari wasn't my actual niece. That she had been left at the doorstep of my house with her name and birthday. They didn't suspect anything when I asked to live in their territory after I had told them the story. She will soon be 16 and her wolf side will finally wake up. I had already noticed that my plan was working. She had paired Max with Mari to be her mate, as I noticed that Max had become more protective of Mari.
