Chapter 14

Bhavesh and Shilpa went to a café to have tea.

They may be going to restaurants and cafes to have food and soft drinks.But their main intention was to spend time together.

They found love alive in such simple moments.Even having food together could be made romantic by them.That was the cuteness of their relationship.

As they ordered tea,the waiter brought two cups of tea for them.

But they did not simply sip the tea as they wanted to make this moment the best and the most romantic.For others drinking tea is a silly moment.But for Bhavesh and Shilpa it’s a special moment when they are with each other.So they could not imagine simply finishing off the tea from the cup.

 Shilpa took the cup of tea and moved it towards Bhavesh’s lips.

She wanted to feed the tea to Bhavesh with her own hand and he sipped the tea from the cup..

When Shilpa fed him tea,it was magical for Bhavesh.He did not hesitate to admit it openly to her.

“Since you fed me tea, it was very sweet”.

She blushed as it was a special complement for her.Which girl would not be happy when her lover admits that she can create magic in whatever she touches for him?

 They shared a sweet eye lock.They were apparently seeing the ocean of love in the other person’s eyes.They wanted to just drown in that ocean of love.

A couple came near them.

“Hi Bhavesh..Hi Shilpa..What a surprise that you both are also here!"

Bhavesh smiled,

“Yes.It's really a coincidence...but it is a pleasant surprise!”

Though Bhavesh and the couple were excited to see each other, Shilpa gave them a blank expression as if she could not understand what was going on.

Slowly she asked them,

“Who are you both?How do you both know me?”

They were stunned.In fact they were absolutely shocked by Shilpa’s question.

The couple kept a smile on their faces considering it as Shilpa’s prank.

But Bhavesh could not digest her question as Shilpa was not a person who does such silly pranks on others.

Bhavesh reacted,

“What rubbish Shilpa!You are asking Sankalp and Sonia who they are?”

Yes,that couple was none other than Sankalp and Sonia.

Shilpa’s reaction was totally strange to them which was never ever expected.

“Sankalp and Sonia?What a pleasant surprise!After our school days got over, now only I am seeing you both”.

They were shocked.

Sankalp asked in disbelief,

“What?”

Sonia was also confused.

“What are you saying Shilpa?”

Bhavesh said,

“Shilpa...what stupid joke are you cracking?You know that since our reunion, Sankalp and Sonia are with us”.

Shilpa looked at him unbelievably.

Shilpa could not digest what Bhavesh said now.

“What are you saying Bhavesh?I just met them now”.

They could take it only as Shilpa’s irritating prank.

Sonia asked her,

“Why are you playing prank on us Shilpa?”

Sankalp said,

“This is a stupid joke”.

Without thinking twice Shilpa said,

“I don't joke.You all know that I don't joke”.

They all felt that her behavior was weird.

Shilpa said,

“I don't know why you all are joking that we had met recently.Anyways I am happy to see you both.Let us have dinner together”.

They all were confused with Shilpa’s behavior as it seemed normal and it did not look like her prank.

For the time being, they decided to forget it and enjoy the dinner together.

They had dinner together.

After some time Sankalp and Sonia left the place biding them good bye.

Bhavesh dug out the topic again as he could not just ignore Shilpa’s behavior.

“Shilpa...what a stupid joke it was that you can't recognize Sankalp and Sonia?”

Again Shilpa repeated what she said before their dinner.

“Bhavesh...I told you that I was not joking.I did'nt recognize them”.

Without believing the seriousness in her tone he asked her in a sarcastic tone,

“Really?”

Bhavesh took the phone from his pocket and showed her their recent pictures with Sankalp and Sonia on the phone.Shilpa was shocked to the core.

She was absolutely panicked.

“How did I forget them?”

Shilpa was restless.She felt head ache too.

Seeing her fear and tension on the face,Bhavesh became serious.

“Shilpa...are you serious that you forgot them?”

Tears resided in Shilpa’s eyes.

“Yes Bhavesh.I really forgot them.Now a days I feel that something strange is happening to me.I can’t even understand myself.What is happening to me?Is it very serious?I feel something dangerous is going to happen”.

Bhavesh could not understand what Shilpa was trying to convey.But he could feel her pain and realized that at this moment , he has to give her comfort and remove  her fear.

Suddenly Bhavesh placed his finger on her lips.

“No Shilpa.No danger can touch you when I am with you”.

Bhavesh cupped her face and consoled her.

“Nothing is wrong with you Shilpa.Be calm”.

They shared an emotional eye lock.

Unknowingly fear captured Bhavesh’s mind too.

“What has really happened with Shilpa?I should discuss this with Aryan bhai(Brother) and Gopika bhabhi(Sister in law)”.

Bhavesh narrated the restaurant incident to Aryan and Gopika.

“I thought that  Shilpa was playing a stupid prank.But she really seems to be really serious”.

Aryan did not take it seriously.

“What if she is really playing prank with you all for fun?Take it easy brother”.

But Bhavesh could not take it lightly like Aryan asked him to do seeing Shilpa’s restlessness.

“But...I am not able to stay calm regarding this.Shilpa’s pain affects me a lot”.

Now Gopika too started feeling that things were not as easy as they thought to be to be when Bhavesh told them about it.At the same thing it was too early for her to jump into a conclusion.But she did not forget to console Bhavesh.

“Things are not clear now.Wait for some more time.Then we will see.Don't worry Bhavesh.It won't be anything serious”.

Bhavesh was relieved listening to Gopika’s words.

Gopika thought,

“I hope that it's only Shilpa's prank”.

Bhavesh  brought  Shilpa to his house.Seeing Aryan and Gopika, Shilpa did not become cheerful or smile at them.

She looked at them as if she was seeing some strangers.

She asked Bhavesh,

“Bhavesh...whose house is this?Who are they?”

Aryan,Gopika and Bhavesh were stunned as Shilpa not only failed to recognize Aryan and Gopika,but also forgot their house.

But Bhavesh tried hard to remain positive.

“Shilpa..not again.Don't say that you don't know them”.

Aryan said,

“Stop joking Shilpa”.

Shilpa felt upset and looked at Bhavesh.

“I am telling you seriously.I don't know them”.

They were confused.

Bhavesh said,

“Shilpa...you have come here before.This is my brother Aryan bhai(Brother) and his wife Gopika bhabhi(Sister in law) who were our seniors in school”.

Shilpa was surprised.

She said,

“I am seeing them after many years.They look different now.How can I recognize them?”

They all became dull.

Bhavesh said softly,

“Recently you had met them again Shilpa”.

Bhavesh showed her their pictures with Aryan and Gopika.

Shilpa was shocked.She could not understand how she forgot Aryan and Gopika also all of a sudden like she forgot Sankalp and Sonia

Suddenly Shilpa burst into tears.

“Oh..I forgot Aryan Bhai(Brother) and Gopika bhabhi(Sister in law) too.How could I forget them?”

Everyone became dull.They all could feel Shilpa’s pain.

Gopika was confused like hell.

“Hey God...what is this?”

All Bhavesh could do was to console Shilpa as nothing else was clear to him.

“Shilpa..please be calm”.

But nothing could give comfort to Shilpa as she was really slipping into fear and anxiety.

Finally the doctor in Aryan awoke sensing seriousness in  Shilpa’s condition.

“Shilpa should undergo some tests in the hospital”.

Bhavesh raised his eye brows and looked at Aryan fearing whether it’s really a medical problem.

Aryan could understand Bhavesh’s dilemma and he said,

“ It's essential Bhavesh.Take her to Dr.Inder.Since he is Rakhi's father, he knows Shilpa quite well”.

If Doctor’s consultation can bring positive changes in Shilpa,Bhavesh was willing to do that also.

Bhavesh said,

“Ok,I will take her there”.

Bhavesh took Shilpa to Rakhi’s father Dr.Inder’s hospital and Shilpa underwent some tests over there.

After a day Bhavesh and Shilpa went there again to collect the test result and to meet Dr.Inder to know further.

Dr.Inder came after having a look at the test results..

Bhavesh asked him,

“Doctor..is everything alright?”

Shilpa also asked him out of anxiety,

“Please tell uncle.What is wrong with me?”

Both were tensed about Shilpa's test result.
