Chapter 11

The next morning we gathered at a big table for a breakfast down in the hotels dining area. They served Belgian waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, eggs, sausage and bacon. After we got our plates mounded with our food, we ate in silence. I couldn't help but wonder if everything was okay, as my eyes flickered across our newfound close friends. I would consider us close friends now with the time we have known them, granted we have only been able to hang out a short time in person but still, from Spring break to now is a good amount of time.

"So, I was thinking I could treat you four to a date day" I said hesitantly as their eyes glanced toward me. "The least I could do for what I pulled yesterday" I gave a weak smile. 

"That's a very nice thought Charlie" Jace spoke softly with a small smile in return.

"You don't have to" Sebastian said next.

"I do, I feel shitty for doing what I did when I could've thought of a different way to deter his thoughts of Tanner and I" I replied.

"What'd you have in mind?" Damon asked me while sitting back in his chair.

"Well, I could set up a snorkeling session, riding with the dolphins then dinner and a movie?" I asked them hoping that sounded like a good idea to them.

"Oooh snorkeling! I loved it when Ryder took us on his yacht!" Jace said excitedly.

"So is that a yes? as well as a forgiven?" I asked while fiddling with my fingers. 

"What about Ryder, Matt and you guys?" Sebastian questioned.

"We'll figure something out" I waved it off, there's bound to be something we can do while they go on a date. Jace got up and ran over to my chair, wrapping his arms around me with a squeeze. Dakota gave a small growl in protest, I just accepted the hug but didn't put my hands on him to show respect. I am on thin ice with Mister Dakota.

"Thank you Charlie, this is such a kind thing to do" he said happily before pulling away and sitting back in his chair. I gave a wide smile before standing up and digging out my phone.

"I'll go make the reservations then" I said before walking out of the dining room.

Tanner's P.O.V

"He really doesn't have to go all out like that" Sebastian said as soon as Charlie was away from the table.

"That's Charlie for ya...He goes overboard with apologies, not that many complain" I laughed

"I'm not complaining" Dakota piped up and I rolled my eyes with a chuckle.

"He does feel really bad about yesterday" I said solemnly. I couldn't help but feel bad too and feel that it was partially my fault too. If we weren't a thing, then he wouldn't have had to try and hide it.

"I know he does" Sebastian said sadly "Damon had a choice in the matter of continuing it or not and he did because we are friends" he smiled "And like I had said yesterday, I would've went through with it too" he reassured with a hand on my arm. 

"Thank you for being understanding, he promised he wouldn't do anything like that again. I'll make sure of it too or I'll cut his balls off" I stated and everyone at the table gave a chuckle at that. "He also considers you guys close friends of ours since we hit it off at the beach" I added.

"I do too" Jace said with a smile which made me smile.

"Alright, everything is set up" Charlie's voice broke into our conversation. "You guys should go get ready and then I'll text you the locations" he said with a bright smile.

"Thank you Charlie" Sebastian gave a one arm hug after they got up to head back to their room. 

"Yes, Thank you..Even though you didn't have to do this" Damon stated and Charlie put a hand up.

"You guys deserve it anyway, lugging around four extra wheels on this adventure" Charlie joked "You guys need some quality time together" 

"You earned some points back for that" Dakota muttered before following the three to the elevator. Charlie beamed and turned to Ryder, Matt and I.

"So boys, what are we doing today?" he chirped

"We could see the alligator farm and do the airboat ride in the Everglades?" Matt offered as he scrolled through his phone. I assume he looked up things to do in Florida. 

"There's also skydiving" Ryder said with a wiggle of his eyebrows while Matt looked a little pale.

"I've honestly always wanted to do that" I admitted. Like, it's a scary thought to jump out of a plane but the adrenaline you'd get from it would be so thrilling. "What do you think Charlie?" I asked the handsome man next to me. 

"Sounds like a fun filled day!" he said then we both looked to Matt who was sitting quietly.

"You good with that Matt?" I asked genuinely concerned with his quietness.

"Uhhh...I'll probably sit the skydiving out" he said sheepishly.

"Aww, we don't have to do that then Matthew" Ryder softly replied.

"No, no I would hate to keep you guys from having fun" he waved his hand

"I could sit it out with you" Ryder said with a cute smile. Wow, he is in so deep that Matt has him wrapped around his finger without even knowing it. 

"No, don't let me spoil your fun" Matt chuckled and playfully shoved Ryder's shoulder.

"Let's just take the day as we go, Alligator farm first?" Ryder asked directing the question to us.

"Sounds good to me" I shrugged and Charlie nodded. 

"Great, I'll get an Uber" Matt nodded before tapping away at his phone. 

I made a whip sound causing Charlie to stifle a laugh and Ryder to give me a glare.

"Don't act like you wouldn't do the same for him" he whispered, gesturing to Charlie.

"True, but like he's not even yours yet and it's adorable how you act with him" I whispered back, looking to see Matt zoned out of our conversation.

"He may never be mine" he whispered softly, glancing at Matt with a saddened expression "But that's just what friends do for each other" he finished with a smile.

"Well you are a great friend/future boyfriend" I replied with a wink and he rolled his eyes with a smile. 

"Ooookay, Uber will be here in fifteen" Matt stated after pocketing his phone. 

"Alright, I need to use the restroom before we go" Ryder mentioned before hopping out of his seat and walking toward the restrooms. 

"You know, having a conversation about someone while they are sitting right next to you is pretty redundant" Matt said with amusement.

"You weren't supposed to be listening" I retorted 

"You guys were two feet away from me!" he exclaimed "Pretty hard not to listen" 

"Why didn't you say anything then?" Charlie asked and Matt shrugged.

"Just wanted to see what he'd say, I guess" I rolled my eyes.

"You're a dork" I told him and he laughed.

"I know, Jace let's me know all the time" he beamed 

"Sorry to like switch gears, but how's your girlfriend and pregnancy going?" I asked 

"Oh, she's doing good besides some morning sickness but otherwise not too bad...she said the first ultrasound is next week because she wanted to make sure I was there" he informed us as Ryder joined us again.

"We are only going to NYC after this right?" Ryder asked and we shrugged.

"I'm not sure, the twins are kind of in charge of where we go" I laughed 

"I'm pretty sure Dakota said something about Myrtle Beach in SC but I'm sure if you mention the ultrasound that we'd probably just head straight to NYC" Charlie said and Matt nodded.

"I wouldn't want to miss it, honestly" he stated 

"Of course not, it's your first glimpse at your child" I said with a smile, clapping him on the back. 

"I got the notification that our Uber is here" Matt said after checking his phone. We all got up and made our way to the entrance of the Hotel to find our car. Once, we found it I hopped in the front seat while the other three took the backseat. I made small chit chat with the driver, since it'd be rude to not talk since I feel like the passenger seat is for conversation. Granted, there were not any seats left anyway but still. Our driver asked if we were from around here and I told him we were just visiting and then going to school in upper Florida. He gave us ideas of more attractions to visit for our stay before we got to our destination. He thanked me for conversation, saying many just play on their phones or chat with their friends and I gave him a tip before we hopped out of the vehicle.

We paid for an airboat and general admission to the alligator farm which included watching the feeding and shows. The boat ride will be about twenty-five minutes long so we did that first. We boarded the boat that had the bog looking fan in the back, the tour guide told us to take a seat and explained basic rules before he sat higher in back to steer the boat. Matt and Ryder sat behind Charlie and I, since the seats seemed big but we also wanted room to move around and not be squished. 

The boat went fast for a little bit while passing the grassy water. We saw a bunch of birds in and flying around the water as well. I placed my hand down on the seat between Charlie and I and felt his pinky sit right on top of mine. I smiled as I took in the scenery around us. 

The boat stopped going so fast and just started to coast by taller grass and tree structures within the water. The tour guide pointed out some of the hidden gators as we passed and stopped to let us take pictures with our phones if we wanted. The boat tour continued like that for another fifteen minutes before docking us back at the farm. We entered the shop and began to browse the aisles.

"Oooh we should do the encounter, please Tanner?!" Charlie asked lightly squeezing my arm. His excitement reminded me of a puppy and it was f*****g adorable. 

"Yes Char, we will. You guys in?" I asked the two standing next to us.

"Yeah, sounds fun" Matt said looking at the alligator heads in the shop. We paid for the one hour alligator encounters. We got to feed a bunch of the alligators in the breeding pond and then we got to take some pictures with the three feet sized alligators. Charlie was so happy to hold the reptile that it looked like it hurt him to smile that large.

As he stood there, I admired his handsome features from the way his hair falls on to his forehead, the way his eyes crinkle a little with a smile, his cute nose, to his adorable dimple on his left cheek. With having a mirrored image, I can totally see why he would find a lusty interest in me. I know, it sounds conceited as hell but it's true, I see it. However, the way we present ourselves makes us different so in another way it's not conceited because even though we may look the same we are different. Charlie, presents himself as confident yet shy, a bit emotional and caring which are some of the reasons why I love him. 

"Earth to Tanner" I shook my head as a hand waved in front of my face. I looked to my left to see Ryder smirking at me. "Whatcha thinking about?" he asked cheekily. Matt switched places with Charlie and now Charlie was taking pictures for Matt.

"None ya damn business" 

"I bet I could take a guess, its start with Ch- and ends with -arlie...now on what you were daydreaming about is another question?" he said with a wiggle of his eyebrows. I scoffed and knocked my shoulder into his softly.

"Nothing like that" I said with a smile 

"Awww no fun" he pouted "You don't have to answer but I'm curious...." he trailed off

"I'm listening" I said as an indicator for him to go on

"As a "straight" male who has an exception for a fine young lad, how far have you gotten with him?" he curiously asked and I felt my face heat up a little. 

I cleared my throat "Uhm..handjobs and I gave him head" I replied while darting my eyes anywhere but at him.

"Oh, that's further than I expected honestly" 

"Why do you say that?" I asked while we started to walk by to gaze at more alligators in the pond. 

"Just with the new territory, I thought it'd take awhile for someone to get into it...I'm not judging obviously, but I'm just curious because if and only if Matthew and I were to ever be a thing, I wouldn't expect him to jump into it like that but I just wanted to ask someone who is in a similar situation and your comfortability level" he explained.

"Well, it makes me nervous of course when it comes to intimacy...but it also comes naturally in a way, the attraction started months ago so I guess that helps with my comfortability" I shrugged "But not everyone would be the same" I added

"No, I know like I said I wouldn't expect Matthew to just be like 'let's have s*x'" he chuckled "...I have never been with a "straight" guy so yeah...but I'm willing to wait for Matthew, he's worth waiting for in all ways" he softly said with a small smile.

"That's really cute" I said with a grin " But why do you say "straight" like that?" I asked him

"Because I highly doubt you find any other males attractive right?"

"Yeah, not really" I admitted

"So in a way that's not exactly bisexual, just straight with an exception but that's too long to say so I just do "straight", I don't mean it in a negative way" he explained

"Okay, I get that" I nodded in agreement

"But also you don't have to label it, in the end Love is Love" he shrugged

"What we talking about?" Matt as he and Charlie strode up to us.

"How Tanner wants to do the dirty with Charlie" Ryder joked and I blushed and punched him lightly.

"Oh, really?" Charlie purred, attaching himself to my side. "We could make that happen" he whispered in my ear making me shiver.

"No, not really" I stated.

"Awww, that got me excited" Charlie pouted making me chuckle.

"You can get excited later, we still have stuff to do today" I told him with a subtle squeeze to his ass. He jumped in surprise before giving me a Cheshire smile. 

"Can't wait" he commented before kissing my cheek and trotting away to the exit.

"Wait, do we have an Uber to the skydiving place?" I asked

"Yeah, I did it when you and Ry were talking" Matt replied as we followed after a happy Charlie.  

It took another few minutes to wait on another Uber and we just talked about school starting in the fall and how were are excited yet nervous since college is a whole different ball game compared to high school. Eventually, our ride pulled up and I took the seat in front again because I feel like that's a gentlemanly thing to do. Then we were off to the skydiving place.

When we finally got to the place, Matt decided he would do it. Ryder talked to him about if he wasn't sure he shouldn't push himself to but Matt was determined saying you only live once. So, we paid and had to do a pre-flight instructional class before we were geared up and boarding the plane. Once, up in the air my heart began to pound with anticipation and nervousness. We all were going to be strapped to someone due to us not being qualified for solo diving, which is alright because I don't know if we had enough balls to do it solo...yet. Have to get through this first. Charlie and I held hands as we waited patiently in our seats for the time to jump. Matt and Ryder sat in front of our seats and I noticed them holding hands, well more like Matt was gripping Ryder's hand fiercely. I couldn't help but think how cute they were though.

Once it was time to jump, we all went one by one. I went first with my person strapped to me. 

"Ready?" he asked and I nodded. As soon as he seen the nod, we jumped out of the plane. My heart hammered in my chest as I whooped and yelled to the camera recording the jump. The wind flew so fast against us as we fell down to land. About, 30 seconds later he said he was pulling the parachute and then I felt as we basically hit the brakes on the freefall and started to slowly drift down back to the ground.  It took about another 5ish minutes to actually land.

"Oh my gosh, that was awesome!" I exclaimed once we stood up from landing on our bottoms. That was such a freeing experience. I feel like kissing Charlie as soon as he lands. But I know that we can't do that.

My partner and I unbuckled ourselves from each other and I waited for the rest of my group to slowly float down. The next one down was Ryder, which I thought was odd because I thought Matt would've wanted him to stay with him. 

"Whoa, that was wicked!" Ryder said once he and his partner got up from the ground.

"I thought you would've stayed up with Matt" I told him as he neared me. We high fived and turned when they said another was coming down. 

"I was but he told me to go so I could wait for him at the bottom and then Charlie would go after him so he wouldn't chicken out" he informed me and sure enough the next one was Matt. They landed and he hurriedly got up and ran over to us.

"Holy s**t, I did it! I did it!" he said excitedly while jumping up and down, making Ryder and I laugh. He hugged Ryder tightly. "That was so cool" he said and they pulled apart with him smiling widely, looking into each other's eyes. Matt must've realized the tension because he blushed and pulled away from Ryder completely. 

"Oh my gosh Tanner, tell me we can do that again!" Charlie's voice yelled as he descended closer to earth. 

"Not today Char!" I yelled back with a chuckle

"Awww" he whined and then they landed. 

When we got back to the main building, my desire to ravish Charlie only grew so I excused ourselves and pulled Charlie to the bathroom. He was very confused until I shut the door and slammed him against the door, smashing our lips together in a fiery kiss. He groaned against my lips, gripping my back to pull me closer. Our kiss grew with hunger, teeth clashing while our tongues fought for dominance. Gripping under his knees, I lifted him up making him jump and wrap his legs around my waist. I moved my hands to his ass and grinded into him, making him moan. 

"Shhhh" I told him as I pulled away peppering kisses down his neck until I got to his soft spot and sucked softly making him grind back against me with a soft moan. I don't know why but I felt the need to mark him, so I sucked harder as his hands smoothed over my back. After I was satisfied, I pulled back to see the dark mark I made and smirked before kissing back up to his lips and placing a chaste kiss to his lips.

"More to come later" I said with a wink before gently dropping his legs down to the floor. 

"Oh come on, you're leaving us hard as hell right now" he complained while pointing down to our tented shorts. 

"Yes, because we have people waiting for us" I replied and started to think of things to calm mine down. "Come on cupcake" I said with a peck to his lips and a gentle slap to his cheek.

He groaned "Fiiiiiiine" I chuckled and after we were both calmed down enough, we rejoined Matt and Ryder who looked at us with an expression that told us that they knew we did something in the bathroom.
