It was time again as the sun began to rise, as Liza packed up a bag for her hunt. It was survival of the fittest, if it wasn't important she probably would remain in hiding and stay under the radar. But the last week hunt was finished a day ago and if she didn't get another she would probably have to wait lot longer. Winter was coming fast and if she didn't store enough food, she will die of starvation if not of getting spotted. She took her dagger and secured it to her waist. Slowly and carefully she went out of her hiding and looked around to see threats. Day time most probably should have been dangerous, it is but not as dangerous as night times. There are more chances of you getting killed at night than during day. Your senses and smell heighten during night making you an easy prey. Thus, after years of observing Liza have picked up quiet a few useful things to survive. As soon as she saw the surrounding is safe, she sprinted towards east. The meadows ahead mostly had alot of hunts. But its also risky, the open area means more chances of getting caught by those creatures. Nobody really seen them, those who did never survived, if someone did they were traumatized. Liza once heard a few wolves talking about the creatures. With mask covering their hideous face and body with of a man but with fur. It was strange to think but now nothing seems strange to her. She made to the meadow and lurked behind a rock looking for her hunt. She didn't have to wait for long as she spotted a deer a few feet away. She has to be quick and quiet so the deer does not run away. She slowly slid out and walked around the rock. Pulling out her bow and arrow she targeted the deer. She never thought growing up she will beed to learn archery. But after apocalypse she was force to learn to survive. She took a deep breath in an released the arrow just as she released her breath. The deer fell limp soon and she decided to be quick. She moved forward and jigged towards the limp body. She pulled out the arrow and bent to pick up the deer. What she didn't expected was someone holding a gun against the back of the head. She froze, no no no no she. Kept repeating in her head. She could not be spotted. She could not get caught. She felt the tip press harder against her skull urging her to stand up. She slowly stood up, she scanned the area without moving her head looking for another intruder. When she found none she proceeded to turn around hoping what she heard about the creature was false. The first thing she noticed were boots, commando boots. Her gaze slowly moved up not knowing what would she face. Imagine her surprise when she looked up to find a normal human body no fur no nakedness. Plain human wearing commando suit, however his face was hidden behind a mask. All she could see were his unusual purple eyes. Hybrid He was a hybrid but not like one she heard of, he looked as normal as her except the eyes. "You're taken, don't try to fight or you'll just die." His gruff voice made her look back to him. He was alone, she could take him. Liza thought. She was strong enough to fight him. She will not let herself be caught after surviving so long. She nodded making him believe she would obey. She need to be careful she was sure the bullets in pistol were not just silver but something deadly that would kill her faster than she could say "hi". He stepped back motioning her to hand over her back and pass him to walk forward. She carefully removed the bag and threw it beside him. The dagger was still secured to her waist hidden against the belt. She slowly took a step forward walking past him her hand slowly went to the loop of belt. Her fingertips touched the dagger, she slowed her walk as she gripped it. She had only one chance, one swift move to disarm him. If she failed she was dead. She inhaled and pulled out the dagger while turning and slashed the man's hand moving forward. He growled stepping back, the gun falling to his feet. Liza didnot get a chance to pick up the gun before the man lunged at her. She fell back with a thud as he strangled her. Liza started struggling as she felt him tighten hus hand. "I told you you'll die." His voice was sinister his eyes turning white scaring the s**t out of her. Her plan was going down she can not die now. She started struggling her hand went to his mask trying to take it off. The man held her hand and picked her up just then few other cane out of bushes. All of them in same attire and mask. "King has called everyone in, hurry." One of them growled as he saw me. "Lemme just finish her." He pulled out another rgun and Liza gulped, of course he will have spare. "We don't have time, he already called twice. He'll flip if he had to call again." The one from before said in annoyance. "Just her with you we'll deal with her later." He turned and motioned for others to follow. Liza felt the man lean in, "you'll regret living, bitch." He spat and started dragging me roughly. The man in front stopped and turned, "knock her out, she can't know." He commanded to the one holding me. And before I knew what happened I felt a sharp pain on back of my head and everything went black. ..................
