Hurried footsteps echoed lowly in the tree covered land as a figured zips through the trees, evading their pursuers hot on their heels. The stars above shine so bright along with the seven different coloured moons. Solveig clutches her son tight to her chest, her teal green eyes narrowed in determination. Her waist length dull golden hair is in disarray and has blood stains here and there, as does her torn robes. From the corner of her eyes, she sees the swing of the sword before she even hears it tearing through the air. Solveig's double edged staff spear appears in her right hand and she uses her weapon to block the blow. The blade meet with her golden spear with a loud clang, sparks flying. Gritting her teeth, Solveig grunts loudly as she pushes her attacker away before she whirls around and blocks another blow from her second pursuer. She pushes them away before the jumps away, landing on the branch of a tree. Although low in power due to the fact that not only did she just gave birth to her son, she also fought against a battalion, Solveig creates a clone of herself - who materializes out of dull golden mist. She hands her son over to the clone and she doesn't hesitate to run away, hopping from tree branch to tree branch. Solveig knows that the clone won't last long in existence and she's determined to kill her enemies before it expires. She gives her spear a sharp twirl in her hands before dashing forward at her enemies. The upper blade of Solveig's spear meets the sword of one of them, whilst the other jumps out of the way before launching herself back at Solveig. The goddess spins around, spear clashing with the blades of her enemies. The three enter a dance of blades that is too fast for the mortal eyes to see. They jump from one place to another, all evading each other attack. Solveig jumps high into the air, her clothing and hair swaying in the wind. Without further ado, she the twirls her spear, which is now glowing, and hurls it down on her opponents. They jump of the way and the spear impacts with the ground, breaking it and creating a small crater. Before the two could catch themselves, Solveig flashes over to one of them, her leg raised. Her kick impacts with her opponent’s head, causing them to go flying down and creating another crater below. Solveig flashes down to her, hand raised to thrust into the chest of her enemy, but a foot connects to her face and she’s sent sideways with a sonic boom and shickwave. The goddess tears through the trees – literally this time – as she’s sent flying away, creating indents into the ground as she rolls to a stop. She groans in pain as she picks herself up, coughing out a handful of blood onto the earth – her hair spilling around her. Solveig has no moment to rest because not only are her attackers coming at her towards her at high speed, they’re also coming for her clone and child, which she dreadfully discovers that she has been knocked to meet. One of her enemies make way towards her child while another heads for her. “Come, Essex!” Solveig yells out, her hand outstretched. Her spear comes soaring to her and she grabs it before darting towards her clone – narrowly missing the strike of a sword. She stands in front of her cline and child and blocks the blow meant to end them. The ground beneath Solveig’s feet cracks and gives way as the sword connects with her spear. Solveig grunts out load as the blows makes her hand shake. If only this seal isn’t in her very soul and preventing her from accessing her full powers, she wouldn’t tmjave this much trouble with these two small flies. Solveig itches to break her seal and be done with the two, but this would mean that Ise will know her very location, and she doesn’t want that. The end attacker moves to attack Solveig from the side, but a battle booted foot kicks her away midway. She goes flying back and breaking trees in the process. “Aridam!” Solveig cries in happiness, her eyes tearing up in relief. Aridam flashes behind Solveig’s enemy and grabs hold of her cloth. He throws her back with rage and frees his wife from the pressure she’s in. He takes one look at Solveig’s appearance (her spear dematerializing and her slumping onto her knees in exhaustion) and that seals the deal of the attacking Lyrians demises. Whilst Aridam kills the Lyrian Generals sent by her grandmother, Solveig cuddles up with her son, her clone dematerializing as soon as her new born child is back into her arms. She coos lowly, her finger caressing a chubby red cheek. Moments later Aridam shows up, covered from head to toe with blood, his hand bloodier due to the fact that he had ripped out their hearts, thereby removing their souls and absorbing them. He hurriedly drops on his knees, cupping Solveig’s b****y and swollen cheek with his clean hand. “I’m so sorry I’m late, my love.” Aridam says with a pain filled voice, his usually blank eyes filled with emotions. “You aren’t too hurt, are you?” Solveig gives him a shaky smile. “I’ll live.” She looks back down at the child in her arms and Aridam follows her example. The King of the Chaos Circle goes wide eyes at the sight of a baby. “...what-?” He trails off, not knowing what to say. “Adam, meet Solaris. Your son.” Solveig says with a small smile. “Is this why...?” “Why I couldn’t meet you for a year? Yes.” Solveig raises her child up higher and gives the slumbering babe a kiss on the forehead. “I couldn’t risk my grandmother knowing about my pregnancy, seeing as her reaction is this: to kill me and our child.” Aridam’s eyes narrow into slits and his hands ball into fists at the reminder of the fight he came upon. “That’s right! Almost forgot.” Solveig mutters, outstretching her right hand towards Aridam. A necklace materializes out of dull golden mist onto her palm, similar to the ones on Solveig’s and Solaris' necks and Aridam can feel the divine energies on it. “What is this?” Aridam asks whilst taking the necklace from her. “This will not only create a seal in your soul that will suppress your powers, but it will also hide your presence from my family and yours.” “Is that why I can’t feel your energy? I noticed that the moons surrounding this planet act as conduits for a seal of some sort to hide the planet from sight, and I had problems locating you when your mother’s clone teleported me here. You’re cut off from your powers?” Solveig nods. “It’s a price I’m willing to pay for our son.” She looks down at the slumbering yet cooing child in her arms and a bright smile graces her lips. “If I have to live as nothing but an enhanced mortal for the rest of my life to keep my child safe, then so be it.” Aridam doesn’t need no much encouragement to put the necklace on. He grunts in pain when the necklace glow bright, signifying that the seal is being drawn into his very soul. “f**k!” He hisses out, getting an amused glare from Solveig. It takes a minute or two for Aridam to get used to his new power levels. He helps Solveig up, muttering sweet words of endearment as she whimpers in pain. Solveig looks around, a small sad smile on her lips. “This planet is a congratulations gift from my mother and aunt to us and we’re already wrecking it.” She chuckles lightly. Aridam blinks in surprise. “Your mother and aunt created this planet for us?” Solveig hums. “Aunt Artema created the moons and her handy work is in the seal overshadowing this planet. Mother created that sun you see there just for it. They protected me from the sight of Ise, Adam, and I pray that they won’t be punished heavily for their transgressions.” Aridam, now clean of any blood, takes hold of Solveig’s cheeks tenderly. “I know they’ll be fine, surchimaene. They’re powerful in their own might.” He gives her a loving smile which she returns. “Come, I saw a cottage whilst above. Let’s go and get you both cleaned up.”
