Chapter 6 : The Broken Car

"Hahaha! He even tried searching all over the house but he doesn't know I'm already here. Hihi!" Stella laughed while telling her story on how she got away with her butler, I laughed with her.

She's too naughty, in just one month he made three butlers resigned. What a girl. Haha!

We just finished shopping in malls and now we're walking towards the park. She said that the area is pretty big and refreshing so I agreed that we'll visit the place.

"Btw, do you have friends in your previous school?" She suddenly asked.

"Ahm," I looked away. "I don't."

She turned sad all of a sudden. "I'm so sorry to ask about it."

"No, it's fine." I smiled.

"Well, the truth is, we're just the same... I don't have any friends either." She looked down.

"But now, you have a friend. We're friends right?" I looked at her smiling but with hoping eyes.

"Of course!" She smiled widely but then she suddenly pouted. "Aish! It's been hours but I haven't found my right man yet." She nagged like a child.

"Your right man will just come in unexpected time you know." I said "So, don't be down because you will see him at the right time. The time you unexpected the most." I smiled.

"Yiee, you motivated me. Thank you!" She cheered.

"It's a mystery, how come it just crumpled without a wall or post in front?" A woman passing us said to her friend with curiosity.

"No one knows, it happened so fast..." her friend stated.

"The child is so lucky. He was saved by a mysterious angel..." The woman added as they get far from us.

"What do you think they're talking?" Stella asked, she heard them too.

"I don't know." I answered shrugging.

"OMG! We're here!" She exclaimed while turning around feeling the surroundings.

Looking around, this place is really great, it's so refreshing but suddenly my eyes caught the playground it's the same to what I envisioned earlier... so I came closer...

"Kelly!" Stella called walking faster towards me. "There's an ice cream parlor near here, I'll gonna go and buy ice cream. Wait for me here, okay?"

I nodded "Sure! Just make sure to buy ice cream not boy hunting." I smiled playfully.

She laughed "Yes ma'am!" and walked away.

So I continue walking towards the playground when I'm on the spot I was on my vision, I looked at the side road to see the same as I saw it...

A bunch of people are gathered watching at something which caught my curiosity. I walked towards it to see what these people are looking at... I was shocked!

It's a broken car but it was crumpled in front... what shocked me was the fingerprints that made it crumpled. Who the fuc* did this!?

People gossip to each other but I hate listening to gossip because they are just secondary and you can't tell whether it's the truth or not. So I don't dare to listen because I am the truth. Everything I got to hold, they are my eyes...

So I came closer to the car and slowly put my hand on the fingerprints, it's a little bigger than mine but... they fit together... the moment I had contact with the car. A vision popped in my head...

~I saw a little boy crossing the road but, this car is running so fast! The driver is pushing the break but it malfunctioned. Suddenly, on the other lane I saw a blue car constantly running opposite to it and it doesn't seem to know what's happening if it continues the little boy will get hit or the blue car will crash with this car!

Everything seems so fast, I can hear some people yelling to the little boy and when the car got closer. WTF!! A guy shielded the boy and stopped this car using his bare hand! Unbelievable! But suddenly...

The guy looked at this car and I saw his face that I can never forget... a face that made my heartbeat hammered rapidly... a face of a greek god!

They went so fast as they disappeared into thin air... ~

"Kelly, I've been looking for you! I thought you're..." Stella patted my shoulder which made me out of my thoughts. "Oh my gosh!" she suddenly put her hands on her mouth the moment she saw the broken car. "What happened here?" She asked turning towards me.

"Seems like there was an accident." I answered. "Where's your ice cream?" I asked when I saw her not holding an ice cream.

She turned frustrated all of a sudden "Agh! That stupid jerk!" She stamped her foot and walked away, I followed her. What happened when she was away?

"Care to tell me what happened?" I asked the moment she took a seat on the bench and I take a seat next to her.

"I already have our precious ice cream in my hands but suddenly a ball passed through me and... it hit the ice cream! Agh! That stupid jerk, I will never forgive him for ruining my day!" She nagged pulling her hair in frustration.

I laughed "Okay... Let's go buy ice cream. Come on!" I stand up, this girl really love ice cream.

"Yehey! Let's go!" She stand up and run, leaving me behind. I followed her laughing.

But, my mind is still thinking about the vision I had earlier. That guy... he's too strong. He has a supernatural strength that I never saw my whole life... just earlier. And, how did he made my heart beats so fast? I've seen so many handsome guy but... he's different. There's something into him that is pulling me...

But one thing is for sure... I'm not alone.

"Hey, what happened to you?" Stella asked. We're now inside a taxi going home.

"You seems to be spacing out more often after you saw that broken car..." she stated.

"Ahhm, It's just that, I'm kind of curious on the fingerprints on it..." I said but she suddenly stiffened and looked away. She knew it was supernatural. "Are you okay?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine." She smiled. "It's really a mystery." She added.

It was made by a human... and you know it. You're aware of the hidden secrets in this world that we're about to explore.

Weeks have passed, Stella always sneaked at their house to come here, so she became close with my mom. And, we became best friend!

I was startled when someone knocked on my door. "Sweetie! Come out now, I have something for you!" Mom called.

I walked towards the door and opened it. "What is it mom?" I asked.

Mom smiled widely "Guess what?" She asked excitedly.

"Want a morning hug mom?" I opened my arms gesturing a hug.

She laughed "I would love to sweetie but you have to guess first. Don't use your power over me." 

I let out a small laugh "hmmm, dad came?" She shook her head smiling widely.

Oh my gosh! "Ahhh!! Where is it mom!?" I asked excitedly.

"On the table. Come on! I haven't looked at it yet." She softly pushed me.

I ran and my eyes sparkled the moment I saw a letter. The result of the entrance examination! "Mom! Open it please..." I pleaded to mom. I want to be surprised because if I get to hold it, I might see the result.

She opened it for me to see. When I got to read the content, I was shocked. "Ahhh!!!" I screamed.

"What!? What is it!?" Mom asked but still read the content while I'm overwhelmed with so much emotion.

"Congratulations Kelly Tarre you passed the Entrance Examination for the Government Senior High School. You belong to the Genius Course.

"Wahh! Congratulations sweetie!" Mom hugged me tight and I hugged her back.

"Thank you mom!"

Next week, I'll be joining a new world. A world that I haven't seen before. A world were secrets are revealed...
