Chapter 7 : The Ice

"Sweetie are you sure you can handle yourself alone?" Mom asked in worry.

"Mom, I'm already old enough. I can handle myself." For passing the entrance exam. There is a contract, I'll be staying in the school for two years until the graduation because, it's a board school. Everything is free, because it is on their expense.

"I'm your mom Kelly and I can't help but worry for your safety." She stated with watery eyes.

"I know mom and I thank you for that. But don't worry okay, I will be safe. You know me right?" I said softly. She nodded and hugged me.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. "I'll go open it mom, stop being emo." I smiled playfully and she smiled rolling her eyes on me. I laughed, my mom is childish.

I opened the door and it revealed Stella but... something is bothering her. I knew she passed the exam but "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Ahm, did you get the result?" I nodded "How is it?"

"Come in first and I'll tell you." She comes inside and I closed the door.

"I passed the Genius Course." I suddenly stated which made her face light up.

"Wow! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!" She exclaimed.

"But, it seems like something is bothering you. What happened?"

"Ahmmm," She played with her hair, not knowing what to say.

She suddenly looked around and dragged me towards my room. Well, she always make herself at home every time she's here. She closed my door and,

"I passed the entrance exam!" She exclaimed happily but she turned sad all of a sudden. "But, I belong to the Special Course."

"Why make that face then?" I asked.

"It's because Special Course are composed of students having-" I cut her.

"Special powers."

"Exactly! You're my friend and I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it." She looked down.

"It's okay Stella, I understand. Every people kept secrets that no one else know. Even I. I'm your friend but it's not your obligation to tell me everything about you. Sometimes you have to be selfish too, you know-" She suddenly hugged me.

"I'm so glad to meet a friend like you." She stated softly.

"I'm also glad we met." She pulled out and smile.

"Now, it's time for you to know it." She smiled widely and slowly pulling the glove off from her right hand. "Are you ready?" She asked when it was completely off.

"Are you sure it's okay for you?"

"Of course! We're friends and I trusted you." She answered.

"Then, I'm ready." I said smiling.

She walked towards my study table and hold the vase with flowers inside it using her right hand. My eyes widen when the vase suddenly turned into ice including the flowers. It's too pretty! I'm not shocked to what she can do, but I was shocked to what she created... a masterpiece!

"It's so beautiful!" I exclaimed looking at her creation.

"Thank you!" She clapped her hands and put her glove back.

"You're power is so special. Cherish it." I smiled at her.

She smile, "I will." but I can see sadness in her eyes...

"Are you ready for school?" I asked.

Her face light up "Ready!"

"So, this is it?" Stella asked.

"This is, is it, is it!" I answered.

We are now infront of the Government Senior High School right now. Mesmerized by it's beauty. It is so wide and too modernize!

A week have passed, mom went home after saying her byes. Stella and I decided to go together in this school to see our own rooms the day after first day of shool. And yes, tomorrow is the first day of school.

"Kelly, we're far from each other. I'll be staying in Special Building while you will be staying in the Genius building. I hope we can still see each other everyday." Stella sadly stated. We're walking, looking around for our buildings.

"We have the same school so we can still see each other everyday." I smiled at her.

"Great then! Tomorrow let's eat together at lunch okay, don't forget to call me." She reminded. We exchanged numbers a week ago so we can contact each other.

I nodded smiling. After more minutes of lurking around, I already have the view of the most area in this school and I don't have a say in it 'coz I'm speechless.

We can see some students lurking around but it seems like they are also new students looking for their specific places.

"Kelly! I think we have reached my building do you want to see my room?" Stella asked looking at the white building.

"No, thanks. Maybe next time." I smiled and she nodded.

"Okay then, I'll help you find your building!"

"Oh no. You don't need to, I already saw it earlier while walking around."

"What!? Really, why you didn't tell me?" She folded her arms on her chest, oh ow.

"Ahm," I weakly smiled "I  wanted to see the place and we did a great job because we tour around the school." I let out a small laugh.

She smiled "Yup! And we have so many days to see the place again and again until we get tired of it."

I laughed "That's for sure."

"I'm so excited for the first day of class!" She beamed excitedly.

"Me too! Btw, I'm going!" I stepped back and waved my hand.

"See you tomorrow!" She yelled.

"See you!" And I turned around as I walked away.

On the way to my building I saw a glimpse of a well at the far corner. I'm not really sure if it's a well, I just saw a small part of it because it's at the back of the Fighters building (There's a name in front of the building), but still farther from it. To make sure I came closer, still carrying my trolling bag with me.

It is indeed a well in the middle of a garden and at the distance, I saw a bench. This place is so beautiful... so refreshing... I put down my baggage to take a good look.

The flowers surrounding the area with different colors makes it elegant... I closed my eyes, opened my arms and turned around feeling the breeze of the air, the smell of the flowers and the slightly cold temperature of the place which made it... perfect.

"Hi miss, new student?" I stopped the moment I heard a voice of a guy behind me.

Oh my gosh! What did I do!? Owww, it's so embarrassing...

I slowly turned towards the guy and when I saw him, shocked all over my faces. Am I dead?
