Chapter 2 : The Mail

I felt mixed emotions... Why me!? For so many students! The mail says,

"You are invited to take the entrance examination for the Universal Underground Senior High School of the gifted on April 5 exactly 7:00 pm at *toot*.

Please cooperate this is very confidential only you and your family must know." International Federal Government.

International Fideral Government is the highest organization the government owned. They hold every secrets of the world, the reality between all unproven theory and beliefs, they held the answers. Aliens and such. They know the reality.

Shocked all over my faces, for over billions of students in the entire world I was chosen as one of the students to take the entrance examination of the secret underground school of government!? O-M-G! To the highest level!

I thought it was just a rumor that the government have a secret school but now that I'm holding a proof. It was real! Aahh!

But why me!? I know that my grades are all A's but I don't have the power to be invited. My father is just a businessman having a small business.

"Oh My Gosh! Sweetie you're invited by the government! Will you join the entrance exam that it says?" My mom asked and excited to hear my answer.

I'm kind of curious to why I didn't see any vision when I touched the letter. I saw nothing... which is absolutely unusual. Usually everything I touch gave me visions.

My mom is still waiting for my answer so I smiled widely "Can I? Hehe, it's just that I want to try new things." My smile disappeared as I scratched my neck.

"Of course sweetie! Why would you think I won't let you!? Of course I'll support you!" My mom scolded me.

But I smiled and hug her "Thank you Mom!" 

"But first, you have to tell your dad." She ordered.

"Tell me what honey?" Dad came home! I immediately run and hug him tight.

"Miss you dad." I said to him with longings even just for a day that we separated. "I miss you too baby girl." He replied.

"How about me? Hmmp!" Mom acted like a child. Dad walked towards her.

"Of course you too honey. I miss you." He said sweetly to my mom caressing her arms.

"Ehhh, fine. You seems too early today?" Mom asked using her sweet voice. I think I might sense ant not long after.

"I want to pay back my debt from most of my time that I wasn't here. I've been too busy with my work that I lost time with you..." he lowly explained.

"Really!?" Mom and I cheered.

"Of course! I already got my promotion!" Dad exclaimed happily.

"Oh my gosh! That's a good news!" Mom hugged dad and I walked towards them as I hugged them both. "Congratulations dad!" They hugged me back.

"I think I'll be cooking your favorite dish today!" Mom said after we pulled out of hug.

"Really mom!? Yehey!" Dad and I made a high five because we have the same favorite dish. Fish fillet!

I'm so glad to have this kind of family. I don't wish for more. I'm more than contented...

During dinner mom and dad talk about things suddenly, "Honey, I think your daughter have something to tell you." Mom said while signalling me to tell dad because it is the right moment.

"What is it baby girl?" Dad asked me smiling, then suddenly he felt something that's why he turned serious "Is everything okay?"

"Yes dad, everything is fine. It's just that I received a mail." I said.

"What's with the mail that you Two seems too serious?" He asked with curiosity.

"Wait for a moment..." I walked towards the dining room "Can it wait for later? We are still eating." He asked.

"No dad. It can't." I said as I run and when I came back I gave the letter to him.

I continued eating while he's reading it. "Oh my God! Is this true?" He asked shocked.

"I don't know but it have a seal and a symbol. So I'm guessing it's true." I answered.

"Do you want to join?" He asked me.

"It depends on you dad. Do you want me to join?" I asked back smiling softly.

"Baby girl, if you wanted to join then I will support you all the way. Just make sure that you have to take good care of yourself." As always my ever supportive dad. "What do you think about it?"

"I don't know dad, but something's pulling me towards it the moment I touched the letter." I answered, I've been sensing differently.

"Okay then. But I'm curious how they have reached you..." he stated curiously.

"How can you be curious if you're child is too smart! Besides she never made mistakes in any of her exams." My mom explained smiling at me.

"Hmm..." Dad nodded smiling.

Days have passed and our moving up have ended. Next week we will be flying in Los Angeles to meet the person who invited me.

Yes, you're right I was invited by someone. How did I know? He called me yesterday clarifying if I received the mail. I answered yes. Then he told me he was the one who sent the letter. And he said that he's working in the International Federal Government named Alfredo Malaya.

He and my dad talked about it. After then, dad told me what we have to do. By next week, we'll go to Los Angeles to meet Alfredo, then after that week is the examination...

But why did that Alfredo invited me? How did he know me? Do I know him?
