Chapter 3 : Power of Vision

Today we will be flying to LA and meet the person who sent the invitation letter. But on the way my mind is full of thoughts.

Why do I feel so strange... why I don't see any vision on the letter? What will happen to me in that school?

I am not afraid that I will not be chosen because I will definitely be chosen. Examinations do not scare me. My mom already said that I perfected all of my exams.

That is because of my power. No, I don't cheat using my powers, I studied hard. I read every context books that are valuable. I'm smart because I never forget every books I have read. And to think that I read the whole library itself, it's because I don't have friends and books are my only friends.

My power of visions helped me not to forget everything. I can flashback everything and it is fresh in my mind. I can also fast forward what may happen if I wanted to but sometimes it just suddenly popped up every time I take a hold of something.

"Sweetie, can I ask a favor?" My dad suddenly asked. We are still on the plane and it's already night time.

"Of course dad, anything for you." I smiled softly.

"The world is too dangerous and too mysterious. I want you to be prepared on everything... and your ability is very unique, if someone will know about it. They might use you and I'm afraid it will happen to you... me and your mom are too far away to rescue immediately." I know what he mean by it, I know what he's pointing out. Dad is right.

"Don't worry dad. I'll hide it until the best that I can. Trust me dad, I will stay safe. I'll call you every free time for an update." I smiled at him. Mom is already sleeping.

"I trust you sweetie. I know you, your ability will help you stay safe, so keep away from danger whatever it is. Because your ability might also bring you to danger..." he lectured, that's why I love my dad so much because he love me this much.

I smiled "Yes sir! Love you daddy!"

"I love you too sweetie." He cups my cheek "Now, go to sleep because tomorrow morning is another day for a hectic schedule." He said knowing that we will meet the Alfredo who invited me.

When we got out of the airport someone is already waiting at us. As we get closer.

"Are you the Tarre Family?" The guy in a black suit asked.

"Yes." My father answered.

"So, I'm guessing you're Kelly Tarre. Am I right?" The man asked smiling.

"Yes!" I smiled cheerfully.

"Oh good! Boss Malaya is already waiting for you at his office. Please Ma'am, Sir." He motioned us to get inside the car and we obeyed.

The car stopped in front of a two story building with blue glass wall. When we entered the building, it's pretty inside...

"Mr. and mrs. Tarre boss is waiting at you inside and," the man looked at me and smile "Kelly, can you stay here for a while?" He asked pointing at the couches which is a waiting area.

"Of course!" I answered smiling back.

"Thank you, you're a happy kid." He stated smiling.

"You too sir, I just gave back the favor." He smiled and looked at my parents.

"Shall we ma'am, sir?" He said signalling my parents to follow him towards an office.

I walked towards the waiting area and sit in one of the couches.

Suddenly, O-M-Gosh! A handsome guy is walking towards me! But wait... when he came closer to me I recognized his face! He's wearing a simple blue shirt and pants.

"Oh my! It's you!" I told the guy who's smile in front of me.

"Yes, it's me!" He stated the obvious.

I laughed "What a small world. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm fine, I guess. Thanks to you!" He smiled again.

"Oh, don't mind it." His forehead furrowed.

"What do you mean don't mind it? You saved me, ok. I owe you my life." He stated. I remember him. He was the guy I saved 2 months ago from an accident that possibly had occurred.

Two months ago I saw his wallet fall on the ground, as a good citizen of course I picked it up so I can bring it back but the moment I touched it I saw him crossing the road and realizing he lost his wallet not knowing that a running car is going towards him, so he hit by a car into his death.

So, I immediately rush towards him. And when I saw him crossed the road. I ran fast and hold his hand dragging him with me, so we already crossed the road when the car passed. And then, he thanked me. THE END.

"Your thank you is enough." I smiled widely at him.

"Well, the truth is that, I recommended you to be invited in the Government Senior High." He said scratching his neck.

"So, it was you all along! I've been curious why they sent me a mail... wait, are you working in the IFG!?" I asked shocked. Really!? He's too young, probably in his 23rd.

"Yeah, sort of." He answered. But, he's the only person I saw not wearing a suit in here. Well, all I saw are men in black except him.

"Well, thank you btw, for the opportunity. I really wanted to work in the government in the future." I leaned closer and whisper "Especially in a secret organization." I wanted to know many things. Especially if aliens are real, if and the others if.

He laughed "If you graduated in that school probably you will end up here, if you choose to be here." I smiled at him.

"Btw, I dropped by to tell you something. You will join the entrance examination, right?" He asked.

"Yeah." I answered. Of course how can I enter the school without the exam.

"Kelly, the world is full of secrets..." he started.

"I know. That is one of the reasons, I'm here." And I know that he knows everything about those secrets. That is their advantage in working in the secret organization of government.

"People are unique. And the Government Senior High are school of special students with unique abilities and incredible talents." He explained.

I gasped "Are you saying that..."

He nodded "Powers are real... and you're not alone."
