CHAPTER 4 Avela's POV

Owami was the first one to check her phone and I could swore I saw her smirk at me. Amanda came to me so fast and dragged me behind the row of classes and showed me the video. To say I was shocked would be an under statement. I was trembling beyond control that I didn't notice a group of people were around us chatting about the video. By the time i looked up I was surounded by student laughing, pointing and some with mocking and sneers. I didn't even move I was locked in the same spot, I didn't even notice the tear running down my cheeks until they tickled my chin. Asa and Amanda were trying to shield me from the crowd but it wasn't easy because I was just like a heavy statue I was in my own black world.
By the time we got away I couldn't see Owami anywhere but she was not who I wanted and needed this moment. I know it's strange that I thought of Siya and not Zola at a time like this. Here's a thing with Siya I know I'm safe, protected and maybe even loved. I don't have to be anyone else with him, I can be myself except when it came to Zola's topic.
The bell rang meaning it was time for my final exam paper to write. I knew I needed to get mentally ready for what was to come few hour from now but I had to pass this exam to minimise the damage to my reputation when I live this school.
I made to class thanks to my friends, they left me at the door because we weren't writting the same paper that day they were writting Business studies while I was writting Biology.
"our paper is 45 minutes yours is 1h:30min, so we'll be here waiting for you don't get out the classroom until you see us" Amanda said pushing me to class. Everyone was looking at me but they couldn't say anything because we weren't allowed to talk in the exam room. On my way to my desk the teacher said " I never thought of you as one of those girls Avela I'm disappointed in you".
I didn't say anything, I sat at my desk and waited for the bell to ring again to start writting and did.
