(Top floor, Harper's group)
"Boss, I sent you the address of the café where you will be meeting your date" Ryan, Damian personal assistant said respectfully
Damian let out a cold sigh as he check his phone, he immediately felt nauseous and almost delete the address sent by Ryan
"Must I go on this blind date? " Damian asked no one in particular but Ryan replied him
"I guess so, Madam Harper personally arranged it " Ryan replied and Damian expression turn more colder
"I have really underestimate this woman, she f*****g want to place a spy by my side"
"I don't think so, she only arranged the time and venue, the date was contacted by secretary Maya from a match making online app"Ryan explained
Damian stood up and walk to the cellar, at the far end of his office, he took a glass tumblar and pour some Brandy into it, he swirl it around elegantly with a dangerous smirk playing on his face. His stepmother is not a nice woman, why would she arrange the venue for him she clearly want to get close to this so-called date and use her, he wasn't gonna make that happen, never.
"Since she badly wanna play this game, I guess this gonna be a bloody match" Damian said with a dark chuckle
"Huh?" Ryan muttered in confusion
The dark smile on Damian face dispersed immediately as he returned the tumbler and walk back to his chair
"How is the company doing recently" Damian asked and Ryan need no soothsayer to know he's talking about the Sapphire Ltd
"The stock are increasingly massively, the shareholders has already reach optimum but more business mogul want to subscribe as well can't we possibly change the company to a PLC" Ryan asked
"That can possibly wait"Damian replied coolly and Ryan gave a nervous laugh. He couldn't possibly be annoyed with the way Damian behave, he is used to it aanyway

Sophie's phone beeped and she stood up from her dinning table to pickup the phone which is some mile away on the kitchen cabinet . She unlocked the phone and it was a message from her good friend, Aviv Waters. The read the content of the message and it's about the address for the blind date she was setup with
“Why won't every one just leave me alone I'm just too busy to start chasing love clout right now ” she groaned in frustration
Her mind wander to the reason she decided to live alone, no moment will pass without her mom or dad asking her to go get married. She always tell them to wait as she's not ready but they would never have any of that, she was just too tired and decided to live on her own
“Brrrrrgh” the sound of her phone ringing wake her from her reverie
Her face lightened when she saw the caller, Ethan James, her male bestie. Ethan always make her day as he never nag her about getting married
“Hey Phie” Ethan deep masculine voice buzzed on the other end
”oh hi, Ethan, you cool?” Sophie asked as she stood straight and walk away from the kitchen to her room to get dressed for her supposed blind date
“Yeah. You didn't get across to me throughout today, any problem?”
“Not at all. I was busy throughout" Sophie replied
“You free tonight?” Ethan asked
Nope. Aviv set me up with a blind date, she already informed mom and dad and right now I'm stalked"
“A blind date?” Ethan asked in disbelief
“Sure”Sophie replied as she begins to take off her clothes to have her bath
On the other end of the call, Ethan was frozen and he had an unreadable expression, he's expression slowly changed into a pained one as Sophie's words set in
“But I thought you were never into love or any kind of relationship, why the sudden change ”Ethan asked, rushing his words
“ I'm just going for a show, not like I'm interested anyway "Sophie said and Ethan release the breath he never know he was holding
“That's a relief ”he muttered
“ Huh?” Sophie asked
“I wasn't talking to you? Alright, I would hang up now ”
“ Oh ok "Sophie said and as the call was terminated she drop her phone and enter into the bathroom
(8pm, Green spring Restaurant)
Sophie sat down in a large private area of the restaurant, the restaurant is a first class restaurant in town and the private area was screaming luxury . Her finger was nervously tapping the empty mug in front of her. The steam from the untouched coffee twisted and curled in the air, mirroring the anxious thought in her mind, of course this was her first date and she badly want it to be her last. She was stunning with flowing long hair, the color of warm honey and eyes that sparkled like the stars on a dark night , yet there was a melancholy veil that shadowed her usually bright gaze. She check her watch for the upteemth time and let out a sigh, this date of her must be some arrogant dude. She did dress to impress , she wore a short length black dress with a silver sophisticated necklace, one of her master design and a matching earrings. Her nails were painted crimson and glittering diamond like ornament glued to it. She wore a silver stiletto heels and her hair flowed down around her shoulders, a perfect coiffure that she'd been wearing for a long time. Her makeup were light and bright
Damian exuded confidence as he strode into the restaurant for his blind date. Sophie couldn't help but notice his striking appearance, at 6'3 with a strong jawline, piercing dark brown eyes and pink kissable lips. His skin was white and smooth like and his black hair was silky. He wore an immecably tailored suit, designer watch glinting in the soft light, and a subtle aura of power that commanded attention . He sat down and clear his throat elegantly. His date wasn't bad, he thought as he take a good look at Sophie who was trying hard to hide her nervousness. Damian was gazing intently at her as if she were some object in a research lab, she had to clear her throat a bit more loudly before Damian tore his gaze away. A waitress came to take their order and they were left alone.
There introduce themselves, talk about their hobbies and supposed-interest. They were still talking when the waitress brought their order. Their chat was paused as each dug into his own food. Damian check his watch and it's already past nine, he knew he must hurry up, he has an international business conference call tonight which he mustn't miss. He cleared his throat to get Sophie attention, Sophie look up with a curious expression, she wasn't in any way expecting the bombshell Damian dropped
“Marry me”Damian said firmly without throwing caution to the air, his expression showed he was not joking"
”The f**k?” Sophie gasped, her eyes widened
