AFTER THE SECOND ROUND of knocking with no response, Joe turned to the officer to his right. “Ram it,” he commanded. The man nodded and moving into position swung the battering ram twice with all his might, splintering the sturdy wooden door where the lock held it closed. The force swung the door’s remnants open.
