CHAPTER FOURTEEN
THE MEDICINE DOC JONES had given Charlie meant he was getting back to his usual happy self, and both his parents were relieved. The three were spending a quiet morning at home when Elaine called. Bella put her on speakerphone so they could both hear her.
“You’re all set,” Elaine told them when she called. “Closing on the house up here happens April sixteenth, and down there on April twentieth. I scheduled that one on a Friday morning for you, so you can get the keys at closing and get started right away on moving in. I’ll send an email over in a few minutes with all the details. Congratulations, you two!”
“Thanks, Elaine. We couldn’t have done it without you,” Nathan said.
