Max and Milo followed behind Cannick, taking in the sights and smells of Busby Stoop. It was a tidy community nestled deep within tall pine trees and gave off a sense of community. Dwarfs strolled along with their young and browsed open air stalls in a marketplace, some mended bows or tended to animals in a small corral. Two male dwarfs stumbled down a path with their arms locked around one another. They laughed and slurred the words to a song that was impossible to understand, all the while lifting pints to their lips.
Max could see why Hodgenock and Knoxby liked it so much. The only thing he hadn't seen was the Quiet Harpy Inn. They had mentioned it more than a few times and he was curious to see it before it was time to leave.
