Max found himself floating again in an endless void of nothingness. The quiet soothed him. There was something he needed to do. He tried to remember, but it was so hard. Many faces flashed in the darkness. They looked familiar. He didn't feel like thinking about it, so he floated.
The darkness squeezed around him. It was firm, but painless. The safety of his cocoon quickly disappeared. He wanted to stay and struggled to break free, but the pressure was far stronger.
