Chapter 1 Stalked
Have you ever sat and watched the news and seen adults, teens, and kids being kidnapped, r***d, or worse killed?
Yes, we all have, but have you ever stopped and really thought to yourself if it would ever happen to you?
Nope, we don't. We always think were safe, but were not, no one in this world is ever safe.
Or
what would you do if your every move was being watched or monitored? When a total stranger knows everything about your life right down to the precise moment from when you go to and from school, to and from home, they know when the last time you ate, when you took a shower, or even when you used the bathroom to even knowing your identity.
How would you feel or live your life knowing it's being watched every minute of every day?
To be so afraid to leave your house.
Well, Indiana didn't think it would happen to her, she didn't think she would be one of those girls that she saw on the news, will she tell someone or will she regret not telling anybody and will he get her or will she get away?
Indiana is a beautiful, smart sweet young lady who lived her life happy and carefree but it soon comes to an end when she starts receiving creepy calls and texts from an unknown stranger, and soon she realizes she has a stalker.
(Stalkers P.O.V)- For over a month now I have been watching this beautiful young lady living her life safe, happy, and not a care in the world.
As I stood there watching, staring at her all I could do was think about how and when I was going to have her. (P.O.V end).
I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door.
Knock. Knock.
" Come in", I said.
" Happy birthday Indiana," my mom said, while lightly tugging on my blanket.
" Thank you mom", I said.
"Come on sweetie it's time to get up we have some stuff to do and people to see so come on get up it's your big day, get up, get up, get up," mom said while tickling me.
As my mom was pulling the nice warm blanket off of me I could see the bright sun shining in through my window telling me it was a nice hot day.
" Okay mom I'm up," I said as I sat up on the edge of my bed.
" Okay I'll leave you alone happy birthday again", mom said as she was leaving.
Right, when I heard my door close I turned back around and laid back down to get a few more minutes of sleep but that didn't last long because ten minutes later I heard footsteps coming up the stairs towards my door.
I quickly hopped out of bed acting like I was getting some clothes.
Knock.
Knock.
" Come in," I shouted Irritated.
My mom opened the door and poked her head in.
" Just checking to see if you were awake, can you come downstairs when you're done." Mom said, then she closed the door.
I went into the bathroom, took a quick shower, and then got dressed.
I started to head downstairs when I heard my phone ring so I went into my room, got my phone and answered it.
"Hello"
heavy breathing
" Hello is anyone there I can hear you ?"
heavy breathing
"Please stop this isn't funny."
Heavy breathing
"I'm going to hang up if you don't answer."

(P.O.V): What would you do if a couple of texts turned your life for the worst? Every text that was sent got creepier and creepier.
At first, Indiana tried to ignore them thinking they were just pranks but then she realized they might not be.
or
How would you feel if you knew you had a stalker so obsessed he's willing to do anything to be with you and I mean anything. (P.O.V end).
I hung up the phone about 10 mins later there was another text coming in.
Unknown Caller: "Hello beautiful! I just wanted to tell you happy birthday, I'll see you soon and have a great day.
I was still wondering who the person was but instead, I just put my phone down and headed downstairs where I heard my mom messing with things in the kitchen.
" Hey, mom what are you doing? Do you need any help?" I asked.
" No thank you sweety but here you can do this and eat it out in the living room, I'll be done soon then we can go," mom said.
"Okay mom thank you, I said.
So I went into the living room and began to eat my food.
"Happy Birthday Indiana," everyone shouted.
" Thank you, everyone," I shouted back.
Ten minutes later my cousin Xavier runs past me smiling from ear to ear.
" Hey Indiana wanna come outside with me," Xavier said.
"Sure here I come Xavier," I said.
My cousin Xavier, River, and I talked and laughed while our feet met the soft green grass.
I was really happy that my cousin had brought us out here because talking and laughing underneath the bright sunny sky felt amazing but I couldn't shake the feeling, the feeling of eyes gazing at me.
When I looked around at everyone to see if they were looking at him too but they weren't, they were talking amongst each other so I didn't know where the feeling was coming from till I looked up towards the street to see a white male standing there staring at me.
He was tall I would say about 6'2', skinny, he was in his late 20s or early 30s, and his hair was long, brown, and pulled back with a baseball cap.
I got scared and jumped when I felt a hand touch my shoulder.
" What's wrong Indiana," My cousin Xavier asked.
" Nothing", I said looking back up again but he was gone, so we continued to laugh and talk.
Everyone had left except for River, her mom wasn't off work yet so River and I continued to dance, laugh and talk.
An hour and a half later we heard a car horn, River gathered up her stuff and I walked her out. River got into the car and I waved bye as they pulled away.
I went back inside and went up to my room to relax, today was a great day, I had the best birthday ever, it was so much fun.
A couple of weeks went by and I went to meet up with my best friend River so we could walk into school together, but she wasn't there yet.
While I stood there waiting on her I took my phone out to look at what messages or calls I had missed. As I stood, looking down at my phone I had got that same weird feeling again, that feeling of eyes gazing at me again.
When I looked up there was the same man from my birthday party standing there staring at me.
I tried to get my camera up on my phone to take a picture of him but by the time I got it up, he was already gone. I didn't want to wait any longer so I went on to school.
After school was over I went home, went up to my room, did my homework, and watched a movie.
Ding.
Unknown Caller- "Hello beautiful, I hope you had a great day in school," he said.
Me- "I'm sorry who is this?" I asked. I think you might have the wrong number," I said.
Unknown Caller- Hahaha No sorry Indiana I have the right number," He said.
"How do you know my name and how did you get my number," I asked.
I know everything about you," He said.
I sat there for a minute thinking out loud wondering if it was my friends trying to prank me.
Ding.
Unknown Caller: No princess this is not a prank
How did he just know I said that I said it out loud again.
Ding.
Unknown Caller: Indiana I can hear, see and I know everything about you and your family never forget that.
I called the phone company and I got my number changed.
A month had passed since that day I thought it was finally over since I had my number changed. Then one day I was sitting at my desk at school waiting for the bell to ring.
Right, when the bell rang I hurried up out of school to see it was pouring rain but I had to make it home so I started walking home when I noticed that my shoe was untied.
I went over to the covered bus station, bent down, and started to tie my shoe when out of the corner of my eye I could see a shadowy figure stop and stand beside me.
" Indiana right?" He asked.
"H-how do you know M-my name?" I stuttered.
There was no answer, when I looked up he was gone.
A week had passed since the last time I had seen him, till one day I was coming from my friend River's house I had a great time we ate, watched a movie, talked, laughed and danced so much that I lost track of time I was super late getting home.
" Hey River I have to go I'm late getting home my moms going to kill me," I said while giving her a hug and then I left.
Indiana's P.O.V- When I left I didn't realize how cold and windy it was, the wind was swishing past my face, hitting my skin so hard making it feel like little needles poking into my skin as if I was getting an Acupuncture and the silence was even scarier but what's even scarier then silence is the clicking sounds coming from a camera as if it was taking pictures of you.
Click.
" Huh, what was that?" I muttered to myself.
Click. Click.
" Is that someone taking a picture? It sounds real too close to me." I thought to myself.
" Click.
I was curious to see what it was but at the same time, I wasn't so I decided to not take that chance I ran all the way home, ran inside, and up to my mom and told her everything that was been going on.
" Oh honey, that must have been terrible and scary, are you alright?" My mom asked.
" Yes but I don't want to live here anymore I don't feel safe here" I cried.
" Well okay, I'm glad your okay, we should call the police?"
"No, because I don't even know what he looks like I'll just sound like I'm out of my mind, " I told my mom.
"Okay honey your safe here now, I want you to go up to your room and I'm going to talk to dad and I'll let you know what we're going to do," my mom said.
" Okay I was going to go to bed anyway, goodnight," I said.
" Good night honey," mom said.
So I went up to my room put on my show and went to bed.
Later on that night my mom comes into my room and woke me up.
Indiana, I need you to wake up for a minute I need to talk to you, mom asked.
so I woke up, opened my eyes, and looked at her.
" Honey I know you're not going to like this but in order to keep you safe we need to move, we don't want anything to happen to you," mom said.
"Okay mom," I said.
"Okay sweetie I'm going to go look at some houses for us online, just think he won't be able to find you anymore, oh that reminds me I need to look for a u-haul for us too, okay go back to sleep goodnight," mom said, heading out the door.
The next day I woke up and I went to the living room where my mom was cleaning and watching some type of show.
"Good morning mom, what are you watching?" I asked.
"I don't know it just came on, I'm glad to see your up I found us a house it's really nice but it's a little smaller than this house but I promise you will love it, oh and the U-haul will be here first thing in the morning," mom said.
"Okay I'll start putting my things in boxes that way it will be ready to load up into the U-haul by the time it gets here," I said.
"Okay honey," mom said.
I went into the garage and got some boxes and brought them up to my room and started packing.
