Chapter 12: Bonded

"I've never done this before. I've never been with anyone." Odessa confessed as she watched Holden take his jacket off.

"We don't have to do anything you don't want to do. If kissing and holding is all you want to do we can just do that." Holden said as he ran a hand down her cheek down to her hand.

"No, it's not that. I want to do more I've just...that is no one has ever wanted to with me before." Odessa said as her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.

"We'll go slow then and as we go you tell me, what you like and don't like. What about this?" Holden asked as he leaned in to capture her lips again.

"Kissing is good." Odessa said as Holden moved from her lips to her neck until he stopped at the valley between her breast, before stopping. Holden looked down a the Moonstone pendant hanging there.

"This suits you, I know it is very special to your father's family. You should wear it all the time not just for special occasions." Holden said lifting his head to look up at Odessa.

"I don't wear it all the time because I don't want anything to happen to it. But do you really think I should?" Odessa says out-loud trying to keep eye contact with Holden without looking away.

"I really do..." Holden's words trailed off as he got a far off look in his eyes. Odessa knew he that someone was mind- linking him.

'Holden, where the hell are you? You're missing you own celebration. Your parents are not happy.' Ethan said to his Alpha.

'Tell them I'm sorry. I got a little side tracked.' Holden explained to his Beta and best friend.

'Side tracked by what bro?' Beta Ethan questioned his best friend.

'My mate, Ethan that's what. I'm sure everyone will forgive me.' Holden said explaining his reasons for not being at his own party.

'Wholly crap, you finally found her! What Pack is she from? Looks like your honeymoon week starts tonight. Which means I have a ton of work to do in your stead.'

Ethan said in a cheerful tone until he realized the work he would have to do in Holden's place.

'It's a good thing I picked our second Betas. They are there to help you when I'm not there. You'll do find.' Holden said trying to encourage his best friend.

'You never said what Pack she's from?' Ethan questioned Holden once more.

'Our pack, and We just may need ten days instead of a week she is on her heat. Beta Ethan I have to go, talk with you soon.' Alpha Holden said before putting up a mind block.

He then turned his attention back to Odessa.

"I'm sorry, where were we?" Holden ask Odessa.

"You were saying how I needed to wear my Moonstone necklace more. Who were you mind-linking if you don't mind me asking?" Odessa replied.

"No not at all, I was talking to Beta Ethan. He was concerned where I had gone to. I told him I found my mate and was going to be very busy." Holden said as he moved to capture her lips in a frenzied kiss.

Odessa pulled away as realization hit her.

"Oh goddess, did you tell him it was me?" Odessa asked in a panic.

Holden sighed as he shook his head.

"No, I only told him that she was from our pack. And that we may need longer then a week. Due to my mate being in heat." Holden admitted.

"You told him, what!" Odessa shouted as she started to paced in her bedroom.

Holden slowly walked over to her and took her left hand in his before cupping her cheek with his other hand.

"I only mentioned my mate being in heat. Because I didn't want to rush you. I don't want you to feel rushed into any of this. As you know the mate bond can be a powerful thing." Holden said in a gentle tone.

"You're not rushing me really." Odessa said as she tried to convince not only Holden but herself as well. She then sighed as she looked at Holden.

"You have to tell everyone I'm your mate. My family will start to worry if they don't hear from me. It's just how they are." Odessa was about to go on about how this was a mistake when she heard and felt the zipper to her dress being pulled down. Holden then whispered into her ear.

"Right now, the only thing I want to do is make your first time one of your best memories." Holden told Odessa as he kissed the side of her neck.

"You're not afraid I'll disappoint you?" Odessa couldn't help but ask.

She felt her dress fall to the floor as Holden slid the sleeves off her shoulders.

"You could never disappoint me, Odessa." He said as he walked over toward the bed and sat down.

"I said we would go slow. So I won't touch another piece of clothing unless you tell me to. You're in charge, Odessa. You say how far we go to night. But only if you want to."

Odessa's sapphire eyes burned brightly as they locked with Holden's hazel ones.

"I'm in charge so I can do whatever I want?" She questioned one more time.

"Whatever you want love. I'm all yours." Holden replied with a small smile playing on his lips

Odessa starts to walk slowly toward the bed where Holden was sitting.

"Well for starters, I think you need to lose some of those clothes it's only fair since I don't have much on anymore." She states as she comes to a stop in front of Holden. Placing both her hands on his chest she pulls on either side of his shirt. It pops open suddenly, revealing a well tone and sculptured chest with a smattering of dark hair. Odessa eyes widened when she realizes that there wasn't a shower of buttons.

Understanding dawns in her eyes as she gets it. "You definitely need more shirts like this one." Odessa, says as she straddles Holden's lap to go in for a kiss.

"Oh I have a few more. I'll make a note to get more though." Holden said as Odessa took his lips into a kiss that became more intense as Odessa lightly bit his bottom lip. She placed a hand on his chest as she pushed him back on the bed. Her right hand gripped the back of Holden's head as her left made its way to his waist to undo his belt to unbuckle it.

Odessa then pulled on the button of his pants only to have it pop off and fly off and land somewhere in the room.

The feel of Odessa moving on his lap made Holden's c**k harden and come to attention.
