We broke the kiss and her hands pulled down my jacket and then moved down to my belt. She unclasped it and shoved down my pants. I parted my shirt and threw it on the floor. When her eyes fell on my swollen d**k she gasped and stepped back. I stepped forward and now we both stood just outside of the running water. I slipped my hands under her arms and picked her up pinning her against the wall. Her full, round breasts were right in front of my lips. She looked at the time and shook her head. “No, I should leave. My mom must be hella worried about me.”
I sighed, “Listen, Val, you can’t leave my mansion now.”
Valeria squinted. “What?”
“Yeah, you heard correctly.”
Valeria c****d her head. “Why?”
I asked her to sit. Sensing the seriousness in my tone she sat down.
“I am not from this world.”
Valeria laughed, “You need to come up with something better for me to believe you.” I stood still without changing my expression.
Valeria covered her mouth with her hands. “Holy s**t. Really?”
I nodded and then I told her everything about me and my thirty years on Earth. Valeria was taken aback at first but when I finished she began to process the whole scenario. Valeria shrugged and then cleared her throat. “You mean my life is in danger now just because,” she moved her fingers and pointed to the two of us, “we are together now?”
I nodded. Valeria stood up. “We have to at least inform my mom or ask her to come here. She must be so worried…Oh damn, my brothers and my dad were supposed to come back today too. I am telling you Kai, Dad is not going to understand your situation at all. You don’t know Jake Davis he has an explosive temper…”
I cut her off, “I told your mom last night when you passed out that you are with me.”
Valeria asked. “How did you talk to mom?”
I exhaled, “She was calling you because your brother Luke had some food poisoning in Vienna. She was going there because your dad and brothers couldn’t stay any longer. They have to attend the USA order council.”
Valeria stood up. "OKai, Kai. But I need to talk to my brothers and my dad. They need to know what's going on.”
I sighed deeply and looked at her firmly. "You know I can't let you go. It's not safe. Something bad could happen to you, and I can't stand the thought of anything happening to you."
Valeria was angry, and her voice got higher. "You don't get it! It's not just about me. I have family and I need to talk to them in person. They may be in danger too because of the curse! I can't just hide in your house and expect them to be okay with it.”
"Tell them to come here. I have the resources to keep everyone safe here."
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "I hate that I'm hiding like a delicate doll or like I need someone’s protection.”
I cupped her face, "You're not hiding. You're keeping yourself safe and giving us a chance to handle this safely. I'll get your dad and brothers to come over. Let's talk to them, and I'll tell them everything. But I need you to stay put. For me. For us."
Valerie closed her eyes, whined, and nodded.
After about an hour, my mansion doors swung open. Jake, Elliot, and Emmet entered into the foyer, their emotions a mix of determination and rage. Valeria stood up when she saw her dad and brothers, her face pale but determined. I recognized them since I had met them twice before at a business meeting.
Jake yelled, "Valeria, you’re coming with us. We are taking you home."
I lifted my hand to hush them as Elliot opened his mouth preparing to speak after Jake. "I understand your concern about Valeria, but she is staying here. It's the most secure place for her."
Jake raised his voice, "Do you think we would let anything or anyone harm her?"
Valeria intervened, "Dad, at least listen to him."
Elliot clenched his jaw. "No one can take our sister prisoner and then make us listen to him."
I moved closer, "If you try to take Valeria out of here, it won't end well for anyone."
Emmett scoffed. "Are you threatening us? You have no idea who we are and what we can do to you?"
I leveled a look at Emmett. "I know everything about you, but I'm sure you don't know anything about me, so I'll introduce myself. I am Kai Parker. I own the Parker company. It runs a major chunk of the world's energy supply. I have a say on issues that extend beyond business."
Elliot responded, “We don’t care about your money or your power.”
I raised my brow, “You should care. My power is more than simply money. It's all about influence. I can shut down cities, manipulate markets, and influence political decisions.”
Jake asked, “You mean you can do anything to protect my daughter?”
I tucked my hands in my pockets and nodded. “Yeah, anything.”
Jake took a few moments and then looked at me. “I am all ears.”
Elliot opened his mouth and tried to say something but Jake looked at him and shook his head. I offered them a seat and then I told them everything that I told Valeria about an hour ago. When I finished, there was a brief silence. Then Elliot responded, “You should have stayed away from Valeria if you knew about the curse.”
I looked at him, “Trust me I tried.”
Jake shook his head, “I understand once your fated mate is revealed to you it's not possible to break that bond.”
