Professor Chris's POV
As soon as I walked away from the school premises, I made my way straight to the car parked across the road. I opened the door and slid into the backseat, where someone waited patiently. He was shrouded in the fading light.
“Alpha!” He greeted me with a bow of his head and I just nodded my head.
“How is it going here in the school?” He inquired and I just sighed.
“I'm still keeping an eye on that man, but I think he has an idea that I'm trying to find some information,”
“Then what do you plan to do?”
“What else? I'll continue to keep an eye on him,”
He exhaled sharply. “I still don't get why you chose to investigate this issue yourself. You could have sent someone else. You could have sent me, Alpha. You know I wouldn't hesitate to come,”
