“Have you tried calling Chris?” My grandma asked me. Ever since she showed up here, she has been pacing to and fro around the ward, like an impatient man whose wife is in the labor room.
She had requested to see Kate, but the doctors told her that she couldn't see her at the moment because she needed to rest.
She had also wanted to go to the police station to meet my parents, especially my mother because she wanted to give her a test of her medicine, but I had begged her not to at that moment. It was hard at first, but at the end of the day, she eventually agreed.
“Who is Chris?” I asked, my brows constricting into a frown.
“You dumb ass. He is her mate. He is your sister's mate. Have you tried calling him?”
