“I don't mean to question you, Alpha, but can I know where you are going?” Karl asked just as I was about to leave the dungeon.
“I'm going to see my mate. She's at the hospital,”
A gasp escaped his lips. “What? How did that happen?”
“I wasn't told either. I just have to be there with her,” I turned to leave, but he held my hands.
“What is it, Karl?”
“I don't trust the Hardens, Alpha. What if it was a trap, huh?”
