Jason "Aye, Franklin." I called from my office. He came up the steps and made it inside the room. "Word out is that, you was working with Baya trying to kill Laila. Is that true ?" I asked. By now, I was standing up walking around the table. "Nah, nigga we homeboys. Why I have to lie to you like that ?" he said nervously. I chuckled darkly and he looked like he shitted his pants just now. "Don't let me hear no rumor about you working with the enemy, understood ?" I asked. He nodded in agreement. "You are dismissed." then he left. Laila I was cooking food when I heard the front door close. Jason walked in the kitchen and wrapped his arms around me. "Hey, babe." he mumbled and gave me a kiss. "Hey. How was your day ?" I asked. I turned off the stove and sat on the counter, giving him my attention now. "Well I spoke to Franklin but he said he didn't know and I let him go." he said bluntly. "What ?" I yelled in confusion. "Yes. Laila he is one of our best guys and I can't afford to lose the best ones." he said. "Ok. Well just watch one day, he will play y'all and I'll sit back and laugh." I sucked my teeth and went upstairs. I wasn't even in the mood to eat no more. Franklin "So you got my money ?" King, the other drug lord asked me. "Yes. I got it right here." I threw the wads of cash on the table and he grabbed it. "Nice. So what you know about Jason and his next move ?" he asked, leaning up in his office chair. "I don't know. I mean they just killed Baya, the one I was trying to help take Laila away but it didn't work." he nodded. "Well, I have a plan and it's gonna work out." he smirked at his own thought. "Okay. What is you plan ?" I asked. "To get Laila."
