CHAPTER 15

2006 Words
"Oh! Good you're awake!" Kierra says as she puts a smile on her face. "Where am I?...What happened?" Cydee questions as he rubs his eyes and finds himself laying on a bed inside a testing room. "There are some tests being conducted by me and my crew to make sure that you have the same virus as Zire," she explained. "Wait, what?" the boy asks in confusion. "No-no this cannot be happening! I have to approach them!" The junior says as he tries to get out of bed. "They're not here" Kierra says in concern, "What do you mean?" Cydee asks again. Kierra then replied "I have no idea where they went, but they claimed that they have important business to do with." The boy then sat on the bed, wondering what kind of business they might be in. ~ In the shadows outside the Dorm's Laboratory, I watched as the others gathered around it. Then I sent my troops to the club, while I went about my duty here. When the guards halted me, I quickly pulled a pocket knife from beneath my sleeve and stabbed them both in the neck, leading them to fall to the ground. Immediately upon seeing what I did, the staff and other patients ran and shouted for help. My next step was to look for the door labeled '318'. "You need to get back to bed" Kierra says, "You're still vulnerable" she follows. There was a void of silence in the room. Until they heard screams and saw the employees fleeing down the hall, it was a bit confusing at first. While staring out of the window, he stepped outside to see what was going on. Their hearts raced when the alarm sounded and they saw the lights blinking red. "We have to go now!" Cydee said and alerted his specialist. "What? What about you? You need to rest!" Kierra responded back, "I'm going to be fine! There's no time! Let's go!" The boy said again and had pulled the doctor out of the room. As soon as I arrived upstairs, I observed that the lights had turned red, so I opened the door in front of me, then turned around to search the room. Even though there was no one inside my location, I kept looking around until I ultimately found him. "This way" Kierra said and the boy follows, The two hid under the counter, terrified, not knowing what was going on. Cydee peeked above and looked around for a device, then saw a telephone, which the junior quickly grabbed. Kierra came to a halt as he was ready to make a phone call, there's a curved mirror on the top of the ceiling, and in addition to their reflections. Aero's reflection is also in it. The hallway is vacant, so I walked through every door I saw till I heard a disturbance that made my head turn to the counter, so I prepared a little handgun and cautiously moved forward to inspect the barrier. "We have to move now!" Kierra whispered, "I know! I'll just make a quick call!" Cydee replied. As the beam shot out and stricked through the wall, I pressed the trigger, and my target retreated, and I went after them. "Run!" Kierra exclaimed and pulled the boy out of the table, The two preys were pursued by their predator, and the two ran without looking back. The junior noticed a broken miniature holographic screen laying on the floor. He snatched it up and finally made a call, the screen was buzzing, and as they ran continuously, a laser had stung the boy's palm, dropping the screen behind. "Crap!" Cydee yelled as they kept on running. When they saw an elevator closing, they turned the opposite direction, but they didn't make it. As they stood in front of the elevator, the youngster kept pressing the upward button, and Kierra turned her head as if they had lost the man. They waited for the elevator to access. As soon as the door opened, the two rushed inside, and Kierra tentatively pushed the R button several times. They became even more anxious as they heard footsteps approaching. The door finally closes, and the two are still breathing heavily, but their lives are still in grave danger. "He's after me" the junior said while he broke the silence, "What? No I'm not leaving you" Kierra responded and glanced at him. "This has nothing to do with you" the boy stated and glanced back, "But you're my patient" she glimpse back at him. It didn't take long for them to arrive at the building's rooftop, it was dusk and chilly outside, so the preys exited the elevator and moved onward. The boy peered up into the sky, looking for something. A loud sound came from nowhere, and the two spun around to see a man with a rifle pointed directly at Cydee. "Your too easy to find," Aero said sarcastically as he was going to shoot the junior and was instead shot in the shoulder. "Get in!" Feint yelled from the roof, Kierra and Cydee hurriedly repositioned themselves inside the spacecraft as the plane slowly touched down. "I got your call" Greer remarks as he drove them off of the building, "Thanks" the boy said as he buckles he's seat up. "But I didn't get a chance to say anything... how'd you know we needed your help?" The junior asked. "Well it's obviously a random number and that will detect where the place is being held, until we recognize your voice saying crap, you sounded like you were in trouble so we decided to pick you up" Feint stated. "Still thankyou for saving us" Kierra obligated politely. "It's our pleasure" Feint responded graciously, "No flirting in ship Feint" the man said as he looked over at them. "I'm not flirting you dumbass" the soldier replied in denial, "Yeah right" Greer scoffs and laughed quietly. I slowly rose from the floor, glaring at them till they vanished in front of my eyes, standing there quietly as the blowing breeze passed by, taking a minute before heading to my warehouse where I stand. ~ I sat on the counter while I watched my sisters do the thing with my white wine, I've got a lot on my mind, and I'm starting to worry that they won't get the keys. Until a lady suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She's blonde, in her twenties, and she's wearing a red lace-up dress with silver heels. She nearly gave me a cardiac arrest. "Hi! My name is Stephanie," she said as she took a seat near me. I responded with a simple smile and a nod, despite the fact that I needed to concentrate on our upcoming plan. "Are you by yourself?" she inquires. I have to keep our plan on track without anyone bothering me. I sighed and responded calmly. "No I'm actually with my sisters", "Are you married?" She questioned again. I'm starting to get irritated but I have to control my temper, I replied with a simple nod. "What about a girlfriend?" she asked me once more, I'm starting to lose my temper, still I have to maintain it, I again replied calmly with her, "Do you have somewhere else to be?" I questioned and took a sip with my wine. "You're not married and you don't have a girlfriend? With that handsome face of yours?" Stephanie said, "I'm not interested in having one, and love is too pure for me in this fake world" I said and glared at her. I attempted to stood up from my seat when she held a grip on my necktie, "Can I please get your phone number?" When the bots jumped and slammed onto the top window, wrecking the place, she added seductively, her face is too close to mine. "Get down!" I shouted as I dragged her down the table, grabbing my handgun and shooting at bots. Cydney and the rest of her dancers amused the man on stage, while Furia plans how she'll get the cue on the table, with the man's escorts surrounding it. She knew it wouldn't be simple, when people began running and shouting and the two witnessed a swarm of bots attacking the citizens and the club. The escorts fired the bots on disruption, and Furia didn't waste any time in seizing the cue. She successfully concealing it in her pocket. Cydney climbed down on stage and held the citizens behind her while she fought the bots. When Bob saw what had happen, he yelled and directed his escorts to the scene. "They stole the cue! After them!", "Let's go!" Furia yelled and led her siblings outside the club. The three executed the plan flawlessly, when they rushed outside, they were being followed by Schmitz escorts, while Zire contacted Greer to pick them up. The escorts began firing at the three. "Oh sh- their after us!" Cydney said as soon as she heard g*n shots. "s**t!" Furia replied as she grabbed her g*n and she fired back. "So how's your date?" Furia had asked and glanced at Zire, "Excuse me? My what?" Zire questioned. "I saw you talking with a blonde girl" she said, "Just because were talking it doesn't mean were dating and besides I don't even know her and she's absolutely annoying!" Zire exclaimed as they continued to run. "Ahead you!" Furia yelled as she shot at the bot. Zire felt another pain from around his body and knew it was the virus, he needed to get the vaccine. Feint opened the large doors as soon as they noticed the three sprinting, assisting them in striking at the escorts below. As the three went in, they were surprised that their little brother and the specialist is inside as well. "Miss Kierra?" Furia questioned, The two sisters buckled their seats up as the ship prepared to leave while the escorts continued to fire at the ship. As Bob followed them "They got away with the cue! You morons! Find them!" he yelled in anger as they left, The crew landed in the woods on a large expanse of space. They stepped off the plane and gathered all of the sticks and logs they could locate. "So, what exactly happened?" Feint inquires as he takes a seat in one of the logs. "Well, we got the cue; the only problem is that we don't know where the Savinski Beguine is." Furia replied as she began to k****e. "We're sorry you got involved in this, miss Kierra," Cydney remarked, looking at her. "It's okay, it happens," Kierra said, "But why in the woods?" The specialist follows. "There's no safer place we could be, he's always pursuing us, he's not going to stop until he executes us one by one," Zire remarked as he stood near the aircraft. "Who?" the specialist asked, intrigued. Furia replied, "Aero." "Do you know why he's doing this?" Kierra asks once more. "No idea... but we're working on it," Cydney responded. "Alright! I'll call it a day, now everyone take a rest. No partying. I mean it" the captain commanded. The crew then arranged their sleeping bags, while the rest of the group slept inside the plane. Zire moved behind the ship to take the vaccine. As he opened the package and saw that there was just one piece left, he realized they needed to move fast, and he's worried he'll harm his siblings again. He then chose to save the last piece as a means of coping with the anguish. ~ When I returned to my warehouse, I removed all of my firearms and garments. I walked around in circles, leaving my pants behind, while holding my head, which was aching like crazy. When I realized I hadn't slept in almost a day, I decided to take a break before finishing my final project. I entered the incubator as the bitter cold gas went all over my body and my eyesight gradually faded.
