The Ones Against Us

CHAPTER 4

Droid stood there listening to their Matriarch's upcoming proposal, he isn't sure why he can't get his so-called-kids out of his head, but he has a feeling something horrible is about to happen. He tried to concentrate and avoid having thoughts about his children,

The Matriarch then called the gathering off, as everyone in the room left one by one. Droid was supposed to be on his way, when Nazarath called him.

"Droid, may I have a word please?" their superior said as she walked towards him and requested,

"I might be needing your so-called son and daughter's batteries as well. And since you're very close to them, I want you to end their lives, once you've acquired the energy, or else...I'll end theirs, and yours shall follow. Understood?", she glared at me.

Droid nodded his head as he headed out the chamber and proceeded to his office to give them a call.

The creatures wondered around the monument while sniffing an aura that shouldn't be smelled, the creatures began to screech in rage, as they fled chasing the scent.

Zire was running to get Droid's injector, passing through numerous corridors, doorways and taking the elevator even. He finally arrived at his office, but it was empty. So he left right away, and out of nowhere, three strange species appeared within four doors away without him even noticing.

As soon as he saw them, the Captain didn't hesitate to flee, and the odd monsters pursued him as well, as the man ran and fled, he turned the other direction. He didn't looked back, keeping his sight ahead of him,

When suddenly he saw Droid who's holding a firearm pointed right at him, he thought his surrogate father was going to shoot him, but he shot the three creatures behind him instead. He leaned towards him and grabbed something from his dark brown coat which is the injector.

"You need this more than I do, take the energy with you, don't let it fall onto Nazarath's hands and hide somewhere safe where she can't find you" Droid said as he handed him the injector.

As the both of them heard footsteps from above, they knew they were Nazarath's allies,

"Go, leave now" he told him as Zire looked at him and asked.

"What about you?",

"I'll be fine, just go before they catch you" Droid responded while Zire left him standing there as he watched him flee away.

"Greer, Feint, return to the station and reload the bots. And Furia, pick up those prisoners and take them to the ship with you" Zire told his crew through a device on his left ear, while he was inserting the injector into his overcoat.

The crew obeyed their captain's orders and did what he instructed to. Garrett and his bots blocked Zire's route as he was about to exit the monument.

"Going somewhere?" Garrett questioned, gripping on his firearm,

"None of your business" the captain replied as he continued on his way,

Garrett flashed him a slight grin as the bots got closer to him, indicating that he was in trouble. Zire gazed around his back as the cyborgs encircled him,

"You're not gonna make it out alive" Garrett said nonchalantly as he ran over Zire, the captain didn't hesitate to take action,

Zire held a gripped on Garrett's firearm and punched the bot with his elbow alongside him, he swinged around while kicking Garrett in the abdomen, as he grabbed the firearm on his hands and firing all of the bots at once.

Garrett laid on the ground. Zire has the courage to kill his opponent, but he chose not to waste his time. He then dropped the g*n as he dashed away,

the man glared at him as he walked away, feigning the pain,

The Captain then proceeded to his station, since their base is a two hour walk, he decided to take the transit, he bought a ticket, afterwards, he shifted himself inside the rail-carriage,

He stood there hyperventilating, while grasping one of the bars from above him, he gazed around him to see the citizens, minding their own business. He tilted his head down, a little boy beneath him, staring at him out of curiosity.

He gave the kid a small smile in response, everything inside the train is perfectly silent, when a sudden bot broke down on the roof, breaking the glass into pieces. Everyone was terrified as they jumped out of their seats,

The Captain took the kid and hid it from behind him, as he prepared his firearm pointed at the cyborg, the bot screeched as the bot ran towards Zire.

As Furia headed to get Cydney and Cydee who's in the Dorm Laboratory. When a sudden loud bang hit the door, Cydney gazed at the door looking at Furia saying.

"We have to leave now, there's no time" the two siblings looked at each other and got out of bed, then they followed her.

When they were almost out of the Laboratory, a strange specie blocked their way out, Furia didn't hesitate to pull the trigger as the beam came out strucking the unusual specie, scaring the other two.

"What is that?!" Cydee asked

"It must be Nazarath's companion" Furia replied then proceeded their way.

"Wait, wait, wait, how come we're still breathing when we're on another planet?" Cydney asked as they went inside the aircraft,

Furia shrugs her shoulders while glancing at Cydney, whilst preparing the ship's engine.

As Zire swung his firearm towards the bot's head, the cyborg kicked the weapon out of Zire's hands, the Captain quickly dodged the bot's punch with a slick kick to the bot's feet, knocking the cyborg down.

The bot rushed to his feet as the cyborg seized one of Zire's foot, making him fell to the ground. The bot was on top of him, and the cyborg punched him roughly on the face countless times,

As blood came out from the corner of his lips. While kicking the bot out of his face, Zire mustered all of his strength and snatched his weapon from the floor, smacking the cyborg in the face. He then saw an emergency exit from one of the roofs,

He instantly grasped one of the bars from above with the both of his hands, breaking the thick glass with his firearm. He then pulled himself up to the top, seeing nothing but the blue sky, enormous buildings and the air passing through his face.

He heard a heavy thump behind him, and he turned around to see the cyborg rushing up to him, reloading his weapon as soon as he could, his eyes got widened when he realized he had run out of pellets.

As the cyborg was supposed to punch him, Zire slipped in between the bot's toes, the captain then turned as the cyborg snatched his shoulders, bringing him down with him, shattering the glass, on where they stand.

The bot then stood up and grabbed his collar, pinning him to the window while screeching at him, the ear-piercing scream ended when the cyborg felt a shard of glass hit at the back of his head.

The cyborg slowly turned around to view the child.

Who appeared angry and terrified at the same time. Zire was dumbfounded, he was worried that the kid might get involved in the fight, without thinking twice, he grabbed a piece of glass off one of the seats and stabbed it into the side of the bot's head.

The cyborg was going insane as his system started to malfunction, and the Captain booted him hard, causing the bot to crash out of the train's window. He glared at it as the bot was continuously falling,

When the train made it's stop. He exited the rail-carriage, while he was breathing heavily, and continued on his walk. The child ran towards him, hugging one of his legs and smiling, the mother came then apologized, she then grabbed her child as they moved on their way.

Zire's expression was bland and monotonous the entire time, he dusted himself down as he strolled to the station.

As his trusty soldiers reloaded the bots who are standing as cables that are implanted at each of their backs, the Captain walked inside the station, Zire sought for a spare space engine.

"Goodness, cap, are you alright?" Greer asked serenely

"No worries, just simply keep them packed. For the meantime, you two are in charge while I'm away" Zire ordered as he moved himself inside the ship,

While he prepared the ship's engine, the capsule moved towards the station's exit.

As the aircraft rose slowly off the ground and began flying from above. He looked up at the cloudless and vibrant sky as the two moons are exposed,

An unexpected laser struck at the back of his ship as he was about to make contact with Furia, causing him to lose control. Zire kept his hand on the helm as he looked over his shoulder to see two other ships approaching from behind him.

"Does this douchebag never stops?!" the Captain exclaimed as he sped quicker to avoid colliding with his nemesis, he then swung around to face the opposite way as the aircrafts kept on following him.

"I'm not stopping until I've got your head in my hands Castelo!" Garrett yelled in rage as he continuously attacked using his laser beams from his capsule,

Zire deftly dodged Garrett's strikes as he ramped up his pace towards the Tamebervyner City. He was scanning for his ship beneath the surface, he knew Garrett is not going stop until he exacted his victory on him,

Garrett faced his opponent who was approaching him, he saw his nemesis' spacecraft and pave a way as he opened the door from the deck as a specie jumped onto Zire's ship on where Furia and the others are at.

"Where is he?" Furia asked while she looked through the window right infront of her and there's no sign of him nor his aircraft,

"I haven't seen him since we got here...maybe he's is on his way?" Cydney replied, and out of the blue, an unexpected specie jumped in, and it's two times bigger than the other species.

Cydee screamed out of fear then the two girls turned around to see the creature, Furia was going to strike the specie when it attacked her, so she attacked back by kicking the creature out of her face and shooting it, then blood splattered each of their faces.

"Is it dead?" Furia nodded in response to Cydney's question as she wiped the blood from her cheeks.

"It's green and blue-" the boy almost vomits by seeing the aliens gore all over the floor.

Zire is well aware that he will be caught in a trap soon, he had no other choice but to destroy his own capsule. He sped up his pace and he unbuckled his seatbelt and pressed the ten-second self-destruct button while walking towards the back's door,

He jumped out of the aircraft once he heard a beeping instantly, and the ship exploded with the broken pieces falling from the sky. As his capsule collided with Garrett's, his ship was also destroyed as as well,

A loud thud on the flight deck's door drew their attention, revealing Zire, who was hyperventilating and he threw the injector to Furia.

The flight they had taken was a flawless success. They had flewn away with rather ease, departing from the Andromeda Galaxy. The quartet siblings still persisted on completing their tasks.

Cydee, positioned on mateled chair, had both of his wrist locked up by the manchette.

"DO YOU WANT TO LIVE OR NOT?" Furia exclaimed as she puts a sizeable sharp needle through Cydee's left forearm. The boy is frightened as he witnesses the needle sinking through the skin.

"Just do it quickly!" he yelled with morbid agony. Furia swiftly buried the needle in the boy's forearm, he froze in fear, as he felt the sharp needle.

"Alright, it shall take two days to suck up all the energy inside Cydee's body" Furia stated,

"Get some rest, we have things to settle tomorrow morning" the Captain commanded. They had all left the chamber. Cydney finally lets go of her brother, of whom is still sitting on the metaled chair.
