"Okay! Here's you're stop!" Feint said as they slowly landed into a huge gap in between the trees.
The victims screamed in terror, as they ran out of the capsule,
"What makes them so afraid of us?" Feint inquires, while he gazed at Greer,
"Seriously mate? Because we hur- You know what nevermind" Greer responded as they rose slowly from the ground, soon after they left Gaia, heading back to the Andromeda Galaxy.
"Impossible...this...this is impossible!" Cydney exclaimed as she startles.
"We don't have another sibling! It's-it's just me and my brother!"
"And...what energy were you talking about, one that's inside my brother?" Cydney questioned,
Furia then took a deep breath before she began to talk.
"It happened twenty years ago, when Nazarath struck through Gaia, or the so-called "earth", wherein she initiated an attack on humanity with her penultimate plan of humanitarian s*****y. What's stranger is, some turn into 6 feet tall robots, like the ones you saw earlier" Furia explains, following her intent, she continues.
"The reason why the energy is inside your brother is because... Droid had injected the power when he was still just a newborn, a fresh one at that. As he grew up, the stronger the energy gets" Furia explained.
"Why in my brother!? Why not to other people instead!?" Cydney questioned as she fought her tears back,
"That's all I know" Furia said nonchalantly.
"Captain!" Greer yelled as he dashed towards Zire's office,
The two girls then turned their heads around to see the two trusty soldiers hurrying away, and the two followed them.
"Why? What is it?" Zire asked as he stood up from his chair.
"The boy...he's gone, we checked every corner of the chamber around the station, but he's nowhere to be found" Feint alarmed.
"But we found this" Greer said as he handed the jolt to the Captain.
"What's going on?" Furia asked,
"A shocker?" Zire questioned, he flipped the jolter around to see a star symbol, then it came to his realization.
"Proximanians?...Garrett was here" Zire said.
"That bastard..." he thought to himself,
"Everyone to the ship, we're getting back what's ours" the captain commanded as his crew follows.
"You're not going to kill me...right?" Cydee asked, while Garrett's men held him captive on a chair.
"Stop talking" Garrett replied, as he applied duct tape into the boy's mouth,
Before leaving, the captain remarked,
"Look after him, and I'll inform our Matriarch about the completed mission."
The room had filled with complete silence, the junior had fallen asleep because of boredom, the two soldiers exited the chamber shortly after, to take a break.
~
"Here, put this on, it signifies your membership in our organization, otherwise, they'll execute you for trespassing into the Humanoids Civilization." Furia stated as she handed the uniform to Cydney,
Cydney nodded, the young lady then excused herself to the crew to change her clothes, as she went at the back of the ship.
"Why does Garrett hold such a grudge against Zire anyways?" Greer questioned,
"Perhaps it's because our Captain is more attractive, intellectual, and the ideal husband that every lady fantasizes about" Feint replied,
"That's enough, that's...nonsense, but I appreciate you're compliment Feint, yet we have to obtain someone first" Zire responded as he piloted the ship,
The aircraft gradually landed in front of the Proximanians' station after lingering in the sky, and the crew then shifted themselves out of the capsule as they proceeded their way.
The front gate is guarded by two sentinels, as soon as the custodians saw their nemesis, they didn't hesitate to stop them, yet the trusty soldiers handled them by their bare hands,
The two sentinels had fallen off the ground after being knocked out, allowing the crew to move inside.
~
How long I've had been sleeping? I questioned to myself as I slowly opened my eyes and looked about the room while still seated in this chair. Again.
I want to stand or take a walk since my butt is throbbing,
And I can't breathe properly through my mouth because of the duct tape, I don't have alot of patience, so I started moving. Where are the guards anyway? I asked myself, I knew I was saved when I heard footsteps coming my way.
Yet, it's simply the two soldiers who held and kept me captive earlier who are passing by as if they didn't notice me.
I sighed as I leaned against the chair,
Chills ran up my spine when I heard gunshots and saw the two guards who had just collapsed on the ground. What's going on? What if they intend to kill me? I'm terrified to death,
As he passed by them, I noticed a man who appeared to be in a rage and was gripping a weapon. As he approached me, he removed the duct tape from my mouth in a violent manner.
"Ow!" I exclaimed
He then blew away the chains that were tied to my wrists and feet, finally I can move. He then grabbed me by the back of my neck and pulled me out of the chamber with him.
"You should've made a noise when they abducted you" Zire said as he glared at me while we continued to walk
"I thought they were with you guys so-" I was supposed to finish my sentence when he cut me off, saying,
"Shut up"
When we spotted two sentinels approaching, Zire yanked me into the corridor and pressed me against the wall, while he led his right hand covering my mouth,
Zire turned his head up, looking left and right to see if everything was clear as two custodians passed by us. We then proceeded our way, walking out of station,
When all of a sudden, a couple of soldiers had emerged in front, holding their firearms pointed at the two of us, blocking our passage, as we were almost out of the station.
"Castelo!" a familiar voice was heard, slowly approaching us. We then turned our heads where the voice came from, Garrett, together with his assistants beside him,
"We meet again! Stealing what's mine?" Garrett said mockingly
"I beg your pardon?" Zire questioned in irritation
What the hell is going on? A couple more soldiers had appeared, seeing another unfamiliar face in front of us
"Is there a problem here?" Nikolai interjected with a question.
All of the teams gazed at each other incessantly. As the man escorted all of us inside the monument, it was large and fascinating as I got inside, while Garrett's men forcibly pushed me to kneel down on the ground,
A slap reverberated throughout the building, and everyone's eyes widened. While the slap on his cheeks had grown scarlet, Zire stood there enraged as he kept his temper.
The Matriarch glared at him in disappointment
"I expected more from your team Castelo, shame on you, you're still the team's leader and is this how your crew want to view you?"
"I'm really disappointed in you for taking someone else's hard work just like that"
Nazarath then paused for a bit, she gazed at Droid who's looking at her with an anxious expression,
"For the sake of your father figure, I won't execute you, guarantee me this won't happen again. Understood?" Nazarath stated
Furia, on his back, took a stride forward as Zire stopped her.
Garrett glanced at him with a smirk on his face as the Captain took a deep breath before speaking.
"It won't happen again, your Excellency" Zire said as he saluted,
"Very well...looks like we have our second-in-command" The Matriarch said as she proudly glanced at Garrett. There was a round of applause from the rest of the team within the room.
"N-no!" I interrupted as my voice echoed throughout the chamber, everyone had landed their eyes on me,
"No, let the little man talk" their superior came to a halt as Garrett prevented me from speaking,
"He- he wasn't the one who caught me first..." I said as my voice shakes
"He was" while I glanced at Zire, I could see my sister Cydney smiling from a distance. The Matriarch roughly grabbed me by the face as she lifted me up,
"Picking sides I see..." Nazarath said as she held her grip harder,
She then released me as I collapsed limply on the floor. It's happening to me again, that strange feeling, and she pressed her right foot against my chest as I struggled to breathe. Nikolai then handed her a firearm.
"We only need that energy inside you, mortal" The Matriarch said as she pointed the g*n on my face.
Instead of pulling the trigger when Nazarath was supposed to, Zire led his g*n out and fired through their superior's hand, dropping the firearm. Furia didn't hesitate to intervene when she saw what had happened, and she dashed over to Garrett, who was about to kill the youngster.
"Go! Get out of here!" Zire yelled as he glanced at me
I then did as he told me to, and stood up and rushed away, covering my head with my hands as the beams in the air continued to strike on the walls.
As she fought the anguish, the Matriarch grasped her hand and stared at Zire's soldiers.
"After them! Execute them at once!" their superior commanded,
As the Alpha Centaurus crew ran away from the monument heading back to their ship. While I was still rushing around aimlessly trying to locate their aircraft, I suddenly felt a strong ache in my body that made me fel off the ground.
I assembled all of my strength as I attempted to stand up, I held my abdomen as I slowly walked towards, I was sweating profusely, and my eyesight began to blur as I slumped on the floor.
The crew then hurriedly hovered from above as the trusty soldiers continued to fire at their nemesis, they then carried me inside the capsule. As they sat down in their seats and fastened their seatbelts, the team exhaled heavily.
Cydee who's laying on her sister's lap, looking pale, Cydney tried fighting her tears back, she then tilted her head and asked,
"Is-is he going to be okay?" as the water in her eyes began strolling down her cheeks.
"We're hoping that he'll be alright" Furia responded,
"Where are we heading cap?" Feint asked,
"Tamebervyner City" the Captain replied as his gaze fell on Cydee,
As their ship continued on its way, as their commander had instructed them. The capsule eventually landed on a cement, ahead of it, the Dome Laboratory,
The boy woke up laying in bed as he stared at the white ceiling. The last thing he remembered was his sister yelling his name while she watched him fell on the floor, the junior quickly realized how he was all alone. After minutes of waiting, of what seemed like forever, they had finally arrived.
"You're awake" Cydney said, bringing upon a smile on her face, together with the other crew, someone followed from behind as he knocked at the door. A physician came in with the results.
"It appears to be that, the reason you had collapsed was because of that energy inside you. It has been active for a while, sucking up your bloodline, absorbing your life. The longer the energy stays inside you, the sooner you'll pass" the physician elaborated.
We all had a blank at one another, "Thank you doc" Furia obligated, as the physician left,
"I'm not going to die right?" Cydee said in terror,
"It's possible...but we can prevent it by removing the energy out of you're body" Zire responded.
"How do we do that?" Greer asked,
Everyone in the room was brainstorming on how they will save their junior.
"Droid's injector" Furia requested,
"Is it feasible to get in touch with him and ask for his help?" Cydney questioned,
"All of the groups are still after us, so if he didn't answer our call, we'll just lurk inside the monument, then we'll look for this injector" Furia stated.
"Let us help then!" Cydney said volunteerly,
"Yeah, let us help...besides, I caused those disasters and I'm just trying to tell her the truth by interrupting your boss' stupid speech, if I hadn't done that in the first place, none of this would've happen" the boy said.
"She was going to kill you" Furia said in a monotone voice,
"Why did you saved me then?..." the junior questioned serenely
The team is stumped as to how to respond to the boy's query. The room had become silent, until their Captain responded,
"We were only doing on what is right, don't blame yourself because you had nothing to do with any of it",
"We'll be back here sooner, you two stay here and get some rest, especially you" Zire ordered while he glanced at Cydee, as his crew follows him from behind, leaving the chamber.
The crew then shifted themselves inside the aircraft.
"Call him" Zire commanded as he started the ship's engine.
Furia nodded as she flipped open her holographic screen in front of her, the blue panel displaying calling, after seconds of waiting, the man didn't answer.
She pressed the dial button once more, she waited another minute, staring at the screen, hoping that her father figure would answer the call. And yet, the man didn't respond,
"He's not answering" Furia exclaimed,
The Captain then nodded his head in response.
Soon after, they arrived to the monument after drifting from beyond, the team looked through the windows to see if anyone was inside.
The troops then split off and walked through various halls and stairwells in search for Droid's injector. In a dark room, Nikolai sat there alone with the cctvs ahead of him,
"Well, well, well...what do we have here..." he stared at them in curiosity, moving around the monument.
"Let's have a little fun, shall we?" Nikolai muttered to himself while pressing the button below him, and a buzz could be heard as the sealed metal doors opened, freeing the deadly species,
They cautiously crawled around the room, while their saliva is dripping down the floor, when another metaled door opened just a mile away. The beasts growled in hunger. As they bolted away from the chamber,
Nikolai who's laughing balefully as he pressed his thumb and index finger against the key beneath him, staring at the fleeing species.
