In the year 2035 time travel was finally invented. The machine was massive and people from all over the world came to see it in action. It was a beautiful sight to see the past and the future merge into the present.Rachel was a young scientist who was working on time travel research team. She was determined to be the first person to go back in time. For years she had studied all there was to know about time travel and she was confident that she could succeed. But there was a catch. The machine was still in a trial phase and only two people could travel back in time. Furthermore there were several limitations and rules that needed to be followed to ensure the safety of the travelers.Rachel was undeterred and she applied for the research project. After several rounds of interviews and tests she was selected for the project. Her partner a skilled technician named Michael was also selected. On the day of the experiment Rachel and Michael entered the time machine and activated it. Everything around them began to spin. They felt as if they were flying through the space-time continuum and suddenly the spinning stopped and they found themselves in the year 1985.Rachel and Michael had strict instructions not to change anything as it could have disastrous consequences for the future. Their mission was to observe and learn from the past.As they walked around the city they noticed the stark difference in technology clothing and even language. They noticed how simple life was in the past and how people were content with the little they had. However things took a turn for the worse when they realized that they had accidentally changed something. They encountered a girl named Sarah who was supposed to die in a car accident. But Rachel and Michael saved her life and this resulted in a ripple effect that threatened to change the course of history.Rachel and Michael had to now fix their mistake. They had to make sure that Sarah died as she was supposed to to correct their mistake. But it was easier said than done. They had to race against time to ensure that everything went back to the way it was supposed to be.As they fought to correct their error Rachel and Michael found themselves forming a close bond with Sarah. They knew that once they completed their mission they had to return to the future and leave Sarah behind. It was a hard truth that they had to accept. After several sleepless nights trials and tribulations Rachel and Michael finally set things right. They knew that they could never tell anyone about their adventure as it could have dire consequences for the future. As they returned to the present day they breathed a sigh of relief. They had completed their mission and corrected their mistake. But Rachel couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. She had formed a close bond with Sarah and she knew that she would never see her again. But now Rachel had a new sense of purpose. She knew that time travel was not to be taken lightly and she would devote the rest of her life to making sure that no one would ever make the same mistake that they did. She had a newfound respect for the past and the future and she knew that there was much to learn from both.Years later Rachel became one of the foremost experts on time travel. She helped to create new rules and regulations that ensured that the consequences of time travel were minimized. She had come a long way since that first experiment and if there was one thing she knew for sure it was that time travel would change the course of history forever.

Emma Time Keeper
It was an ordinary day when Emma received an email from her company inviting her to participate in a time travel experiment. She had been working at the company for several years and had proven to be a trustworthy responsible employee. The email contained detailed instructions about how the experiment worked and how participants would be sent back in time to explore key events and moments in history. Emma was fascinated by the idea of time travel but also a little apprehensive. She had seen enough sci-fi movies to know that the consequences of meddling with the past could be disastrous. But her curiosity got the better of her and she accepted the offer to participate in the experiment. The day of the experiment arrived and Emma found herself in a bright sterile room with a group of other participants. They were all given special suits and helmets which they were told would protect them from the stresses of time travel. Emma felt a little nervous but also excited to see what the time machine had in store for her. Once all the participants had donned their suits and helmets they were led to a large metallic sphere which looked like something out of a science fiction movie. Emma couldn't help but marvel at its sleek design and futuristic appearance. As she stepped inside she could feel a strange sensation washing over her like a wave of energy. Suddenly the world around her vanished replaced by a blinding white light. When Emma opened her eyes she was standing in the middle of a bustling marketplace. The smells sounds and sights were overwhelming; the traders were shouting and haggling over their wares and exotic animals were being sold. Emma looked down at her suit and helmet which seemed to have transformed into a more appropriate outfit for the time and place though she felt no different. She could feel the excitement building within her and her heart raced as she began to explore the market. She had been sent back to ancient Rome and everything she saw was a marvel. She watched gladiators training for their battles in the coliseum saw chariot races and watched as people went about their daily lives. She was amazed by the sophistication of the city the aqueducts that brought water into the city and the grand architecture of temples and government buildings. Emma soon discovered that the time travel experiment had given her the ability to talk to people in the past. When she approached someone and spoke to them they could understand her perfectly and answer back in their own language. This was a revelation that added a whole new dimension to her adventure as she was able to communicate with the people around her and truly immerse herself in the past. As she explored ancient Rome Emma couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. She had always loved history but to be able to witness it first-hand was an experience like no other. She felt alive in a way she had never felt before and the sense of adventure was intoxicating. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and Emma continued to explore the ancient city. She became involved in the politics of the time and started to gain favour with some of the more powerful figures in the government. She found herself drawn to a handsome young senator and they began a passionate affair. It seemed that nothing could stop her from fully immersing herself in the time and place and she was happier than she had ever been in her life. But then things started to go wrong. Emma noticed that her skin was starting to feel a little different as if it was ageing faster than it should. It was a small thing at first but soon she began to notice other symptoms such as her hair growing increasingly grey and her joints becoming stiff and painful. She realized with horror that by travelling back in time she had unwittingly entered a world where she had no immunity to the diseases and illnesses of the time. Despite her growing concerns Emma continued to explore ancient Rome hoping to find a way to put things right. But the more she tried to change things the worse they seemed to get. Her relationship with the senator soured and she was forced to flee the city when she was caught up in a political scandal. She had no choice but to return to the time machine and hope to be transported back to her own time. When Emma stepped out of the machine she was shocked to find that years had passed. Her once youthful body had aged dramatically and the world around her was unrecognisable. She had missed years of her life and everything had changed. The time travel experiment had been a success at least in the sense that Emma had discovered an incredible wondrous world of the past. But it had come at a terrible cost as she realised that travelling through time wasn't necessarily something she should have messed with. The effects of her adventure had affected her in ways she could not have predicted.
