Ch 28 Caspian

He left Winter in bed. He had training this morning. He left her a note to tell her to go back to sleep. He hopes she follows it and he can wake her up the fun way.

He met his unit on the training field. Curtis was with them, too. Morning Curtis, he didn't expect you to be here.

"I couldn't sleep. Especially if my daughter is upset with me. How is she?" He said.

Winter is okay. He thinks she's struggling more with not knowing than anything else. She's been playing the "What if?" game which never goes well for anyone. She's currently sleeping. Our beast mated last night. A fully mate bond is building. He couldn't help saying it with a smile.

"You are happy?" Trey said.

Yes. Hes know its not the best right now with what's going on, but yes, he's the happiest he's been in a long time. He cares deeply for Winter, Aspen, and Skye

"So Aspen or Skye or both," Curtis asked.

How about a meeting this morning. "Sounds good." Can you let Hazel know he'll go wake, Winter? He headed back to his suite. He called out her name, but there was no answer. He walked into his bedroom, and they she was fast sleep.

He stripped off and slowly pulled the sheet back. She was still completely naked. He began running his lips down her leg, back up to her thighs. Caspian felt Winter start to move and mourn his name. He smiled. This was going to be fun every morning she really needed to move in. He finished pleasuring her.

Caspian laughed. Well, he had his workout and was ready for his breakfast. You looked very tasty in his bed. She smiled.

He laughed out loud. She looked scared he was going to try and impregnate her straight away. He couldn't help laugh.

"Why are you laughing? Is it not funny?"

Sorry winter its just that your face was so serious. Relax, yes, he wants children, but you're only 18, and we live very long lives. He's in no rush. We can have pups or cubs when you are ready.

Caspian smiled. Deal, he likes a challenge. Winter rolled her eyes. "What's the plan for today?"

We are going to have a meeting with Curtis, Hazel, and his well our unit to discuss our next plan. He also needs to decide on what to do with Gilly, and Troy will be going to the golden spa today. Grandfather is expecting him.

"What your gut telling you?"

Caspian doesn't want Gilly dead that would hurt his mother and Tarla and his niece or nephew, but Gilly can't be completely trusted.

"Well, maybe take Aunt Hazel up on her offer. Let her read his mind. If it's clear, maybe just put him to work like Troy and put a tracker on him. Do you know his whereabouts until you can trust him again. He's your brother and Alpha blooded and family. "

Good to know. Okay, let's get ready. Go have breakfast and get some plans made. The dining hall was about to stop serving breakfast, but his chef smiled at him and handed two plates over.

"I thought you might be running late. so i plated up a bit of everything for you both," Henry said.

Winter thanked him. We ate then headed to his office. To find his unit, Mother, Curtis, and Hazel are waiting for them. Full house. He sat at his desk. Winter sat on his lap. Right where to start.

Curtis spoke first. "Well, last night was a good start. Make sure the pack is safe and alert as Winter suggested. I spoke to the king this morning, and he is going to send my team back once they've sorted all the rouges."

What's happened with them?

"They individually get interviewed to see where they came from. Their previous pack will be contacted for either punishment or retrieval. If one isn't able to go back out into the world. They will work from the palace or army. "

Did you find anything out about Cole? Hazel

"Not good. I spoke to my witch friend who lives in the bear realm, and Cole kingdom is no more,"

"What do you mean?" Curtis asked.

"Exactly what I said. It's no more. He destroyed it. He killed his parents and siblings. Whoever wasn't loyal was killed or managed to escape to the next kingdom for help, but I don't think many did, tho."

"That's awful." Winter said

"Well, should we go attack him first," Mother said.

"No, that's what he will probably want. He will have traps placed. I think the best thing is to stay put where we are at an advantage. " Curtis said.

So we will continue to monitor the cameras and keep checking in with the guards, and when Curtis team arrives, we will put an attack plan in place with his warriors. Trey, can you show Curtis the full security system and protocols. He needs to go see his brother, well, both of them. Hazel, could he have your help, please?
