Ch 8 Caspian

He woke that morning his normal 5am he had training with the juniors at 5:30 it was normally with Trey, but as he's away, it's him. Harry is joining him this morning. They arrived at the training grounds.

Just basics with the juniors getting them ready for their wolves. He was about to take them all for a run around the forest. When he scented her. She was in gym wear looking fit. She had muscles but was still soft looking. She waved at him. What he said about his past it didn't put her off bolting from the pack.

"Go." Harry said. What? "Go, I've got this. Go spend some time with your mate, " Harry said. He jogged off after her. He actually scared the s**t out of her she had earbuds in and didn't realise he'd followed her.

Winter was a cheeky one asking him for a race. Calling him old. That one honest conversation had eased her, and she was being herself. Well, that's what it seemed like to him. She has 2 shifters. He thought it would be an even match, but he knew where to run on the trail and not too. Where the flat, then rough areas were. He beat her by seconds. He knew what he was going to do. A date.

When she said hers was a kiss. His heart fluttered, "Go kiss her." Rowley said. Really, you are starting to accept her? "Yes, I'm coming to realise she's not like the other one. She seems genuine. " Rowley said. She does, doesn't she. Caspian chased after her.

He caught up with her, and she went to speak to him, and he pined her to a tree. You win. "Were we racing?" She looked confused. You win, he repeated. She understood his meaning and just pulled him down to kiss her. He willingly went. Goddess, she could kiss. He felt her arms go around his neck, all those tingles. He wanted more, and he picked her up.

Her a** was amazing it was taking all his strength not to spin her around and bend her over. He heard a noise and saw it was Connie. She kindly informed him that the juniors warriors and Harry were watching from behide.

"That was hot," Harry mindlinking him. Can you go please he shot down before cutting the link. Caspian was a little embarrassed he took pride that he kept that part of him private he didn't want the pack ever think he was a wh**e like his father. She didn't seem to care and kissed him again, lightly. She went inside her aunt place. He turned to see Roman. Morning Roman.

"Alpha, can he be frank with you?" Yes, you may. "Please don't be your father. Winters father will actually kill you. He's a man who can kill very easily without trying. You won't survive him, and he has the kingdom backing him and more than one at that. " Roman advised.

He won't. Have you ever seen him with other women apart from one? "No, we haven't," Roman said. He didn't want the pack to think he was anything like his father. "Good." He must go. He has new pack members arriving soon. If Winter needs anything, let him know. Roman nodded.

Caspian headed for his suite and got dressed for the day. He was hungry and went to the dining hall. He saw Kessie the head chef. "Your usual, Alpha?" No, not today. Can he have a fully loaded bagel he needs to get some work done before packs members arrive back home. Breakfast on the move today.

"I'll bring it to you, go." Waving him off.

He headed for his office. He was setting up defences at a new council estate in the human world. That's what he did. Hid company created walls, fence, tunnel, escape blocks, lock down, walls and windows alarms, etc. A team was heading over to start it next week.

He was meant to be going, but with Winter here, he probably shouldn't, and he can't take her with him, not safe. His phone ran it was Trey.

"Boss, we have a problem." He said

What's happened? "We met Eden parents for dinner. They thought she was mated to someone in their pack when her parents realised she wasn't. They've said they don't approve of me a beta from another pack. They've forbid her to mark and mate. Her parents are coming here to see how we live. If we are suitable. I'm 40 years old. I finally find my mate, and I can't have her. " he said.

We will help you show her we are a good pack and that she will be safe here. When will you be home?

"A couple of hours we are about to set off to the portal. Just stopped for toilet break," Trey said.

Okay, see you soon. He heard a knock at the door, and by the scent, he knew it was his winter. Even in jeans and a T-shirt, she was beautiful. Winter, he wants to apologise for embarrassing you this morning. In front of everyone.

He spoke to Trey its not going well with Eden parents. Her parents have reservations on their matching. Winter explained why, and it did make sense to him why they would be acting this way.

"Well, initiate me into the pack. It might help that I'm here, " she said.

You aren't marked, tho."That's okay. We are taking it slow, getting to know each other." she said. He initiated her, and he felt a connection to her straight away.

"Kiss her again, " Rowley said.

He did want to himself her kisses were so sweet. It moved on again he just wanted to touch her. He placed her on his desk. If it hadn't been for Harry, he probably would have taken her on his desk.

"Why do i keep seeing you two like this," Harry asked.

Winter decides to tease him by calling him a perv. It was funny she was relaxing here getting to know the unit. Eden, her parents, Trey, and the warrior and their new mates arrived back. He took 50 with him, and he lost 10 but gained 20. So was a successful mating ball. Trey looked sad. Where was his laid- back, fun-loving Beta. Luckily, Winter knows Margaret and Jim well, and she helps start to smooth things over. A frustrated Eden stormed out of his office.

Winter went to find her while Trey went to discuss recent events with his own parents, and Margaret and Jim were taken to their room. While they were all off, he initiated the new pack members. He gave them all welcome pack.

It contained a map of the pack all the opening time of the shops ec. Meal times. Pack law and protocols. Training session schedules. Available jobs. School information. He asked them all for a copy of their ID. Then, he told them to decide on job wise education, ect, and get back to him in a week.

They were forms to fill out about their past jobs, education, family, etc. It was a long afternoon. Harry came in. Harry, could you get him a car outside ready for 5 pm, please?

"Sure thing, boss," he said.

He called the Golden Forest spa. His family owed it. Hello, it's Caspian Sullivan? Can he book a private campfire tonight with all the V.I.P. treats?

"Of course, what time do you think, sir?" we should arrive around 7 pm.

"No problem, see you later, sir." Receptionist said.

He told Joey, his head of security. He'll be leaving the pack for a few hours this evening. Can you make all the security is correct in the pack house. Ziggy and Harry will be around if anything is suspicious.

"Of course, Alpha. Anything to be worried about?. " No, not right now, but you'll hear it before he does.

Joey is his head omega and head of security. Nothing gets past her. She was his nanny as a child loves her trust. He headed for his suite, where he showered and dressed. His suite was large, but he lived in the room next door.

The whole suite guttered when his ex left and his father died. Mother moved to the other end of the alpha floor. The whole suite is empty. Lounge, bathrooms, 6 bedrooms all empty. He has them painted every couple of year's

No furniture. He had a connecting door put in. So he only uses the kitchen and office occasionally. It just seems stupid to live in a big suite by himself.

"Hello, just about to walk into the pack house." she said.

He would have come collected you from the house. "That's okay. I like to walk," Okay, 2 minutes.

He grabbed his jacket and headed downstairs. There, she stood in the doorway. She had a long sleeve purple cotton wolley dress on. She dressed it with black knee-high boots. Her hair was pulled into a loose low bun with pieces pulled out to frame her pretty face. She had a fluffy coat in her hand.

She saw him and smiled. "Is this okay?" she asked, looking down at herself. Yes, you look beautiful. "Thank you, not bad yourself." She kissed his cheek. "Where are we going?" It's a surprise.

We headed outside his land rover was waiting. "This is nice. I'm used to driving dad truck." No car of your own? "He wanted to buy me one, but it was just a waste of money. His truck was always free to use as he was in the kingdom most of the time," Fair enough.

We drove to the portal. The place they were going to was just about an hour from the portal. "We are in alaska." Yes. We pulled up at the gate. "Golden oak forest," she said. She looked confused.

5 Generation ago, his grandfather lived here in this pack. With war and unable to expand the pack in the human world. We made the move to the wolfen world. His family still owned this land. So we turned it into a spa and wellness retreat. Wolves and humans can book to stay here or just come for the day or evening. We put on events here to, human and wolfen.

"It's beautiful. How does it say protected?"

He has warriors here. The Juniors will spend time training here and working here. It's not far from the university, so it works for them. The older pack members move out here their miss the human world where their grow up. It works well for us.

"Who runs it?"

His grandfather Mitchell does. "Really, do you get along?"

You mean, does he hate him for killing his only son. She nodded. No grandfather respected the mate bond and was very disappointed in his son. Caspian was very sad as his father was his only son.

Yes, but he's happy here running this place. We parked up. "It's so peaceful." Yes, he took her hand, and she smiled. Then he saw his grandfather walking towards him. Grandfather, he called out.

"Oh my son, so good to see you." Mitchell said.

He hugged him. Grandfather Mitchell, this is Winter Frost, his mate, and Winter. This is Mitchell Sullivan, his grandfather

"Oh mate? that wonderful news if anyone deserves another mate, it's you, my boy. " He said. Thank you.

"It's nice to meet you it's beautiful here," Winter said.

"Thank you dear, you are kind and very beautiful too. You are too beautiful for this one here." Winter giggles. Grandfather, you just told him he deserved her. Caspian laughed.

"Well, that's before I got a good look at her. Yes, too beautiful for you. " he said. Winter laughed

"I'll leave you to your date." Grandfather hugged him and kissed Winters hand. "Charmer," she said. Oh, he is. Caspian walked her through the garden her eyes lit up, and then we reached the lake. They are small wooden canopies. He walked her round to see one all lit up with twinkle lights.

Cushion seats with blankets and a table with food, alcohol and flowers. Then infront was a bonfire. It did look romantic.

"Caspian, this lovely, thank you."

She sat down and he covered her with a blanket and gave her a glass of champagne. He leaned in to kiss her, and she allowed it. It soon moved his hand to touch her leg. All those bond tingles, she wrapped her arms around his neck. She was already pulling at his shirt to take it off. She pushed him over and sat on him. She started to pull her dress off. Winter stop, let's not do this here.

"You want to. I know you do,"

He does, but not here. Please put your dress back on. She did look hurt. She put her dress back on and boots. She grabbed her bag.

"Can you please take me back?" she asked.

Winter, he's sorry. "Can you please take me back now, please?" She repeated
