There were techniques he could use like this, using the steady repetition of air movements in his lungs to calm himself, think more clearly, strengthen his body. This was none of those. He didn’t know what it was exactly, but it was better right now to just lie here and breathe for a moment. “What are you doing?” Blaise asked. “Breathing,” he said, as the easiest answer.
