"Everything for the mating ceremony is ready," said Sedrick, my Beta.

I was wearing the most elegant tux available as I am the heir of the prominent pack in the world.

I cannot take off the goofy smile from my face as I am about to claim my mate in front of the pack. When I turned 20 I found my mate in the neighboring pack. She is the daughter of Alpha Gordon Linwood, Charlotte Linwood. She is beautiful, with strawberry blond hair and light blue eyes, and she has just come of age. I met Charlotte at her birthday party. At first, I did not grasp her scent, but then I got this sweet smell of honeysuckle near midnight. As I tracked it down the hall to the balcony, she stood leaning on the railings. I got near her and couldn't help but growl. "Mate!" She jumped in fright but soon she also started walking near to me. In no time our lips collided and that night our ceremony date was announced.

I laugh at myself to be so hasty. It was like I was under the spell.

What is strange my wolf Darius sometimes gets frustrated by her. I don't know why, but he seems not fond of her. On the other hand everyone is in good opinion about her. Her character is more timid, which is so unusual to the alpha blood.

"Let's go, the ceremony will start soon," I said exiting my room.

As I went to the stage, my father started his speech.

"Welcome to the ceremony dear guests. We gathered here to celebrate two ceremonies at once," his voice echoed through the crowd, as everybody waited for him. "First is my son's mating ceremony, as he will be claiming his mate in front of everyone. Second is the Alpha ceremony, " everyone started murmuring.

"We all know that my son has reached the age where he is eligible to take over the alpha duties of the pack. It is not a secret that he is one of the best warriors on the continent, and has shown great devotion to the pack and wise leadership so far. I am delighted on this day to pass my title, to my son, Marcellus," he said, making everyone cheer. "So, let the ceremony begin."

I descended the stage but there was no strand of Charlotte around. I excused myself and started to search for her. On the way to her room, I caught her smell and followed it to the garden.

Going further not making any sound, I heard some noises. When I turned in the corner, I was struck by the scene unfolding before me.

My mate was on a man lips to lips, flesh to flesh. He was eating her face up. I felt disgusted at first then enraged. I felt no jealousy over my mate, which is so surprising, but only white rage. I grabbed the neck of that bastard and started to punch him unconscious. Charlotte screamed, and threw herself at me protecting him. I took hold of her hand and dragged the guy with my other. On the way she screamed and thrashed, but I was much more firm than her fragile self. I threw them in front of the crowd and everyone gasped. She hugged the guy and started crying.

"Now tell me what the hell is going on!" I roared. "Bring Alpha Gordon here, and find what pack this bastard belongs to," I gave out the order. At my command, all my warriors began searching, and in no time they brought them. Seeing his daughter, Alpha Gordon tried to tear apart Charlotte from the guy frantically.

"What have you done? MOVE! What are you doing here?" he yelled at his daughter. I stood there trying to calm myself from ripping everyone apart.

From the other corner of the crowd, Alpha Samuel appeared. "Alpha, there must be a misunderstanding, my beta just found his mate, if he had done something disrespectful to you, we can solve this matter calmly," he stated. I cut my eyes at him enraged more than before.

"He is lying! He is not the mate of my daughter!" Alpha Gordon yelled desperately.

"NO! He is my mate! I did not want to do this! Please, I can't live without him, please," she pleaded crying. Her father tried to hit her, but I caught his arm before he could touch her.

"I, Marcellus Gonzales, Alpha of the New Moon Pack, Challange You, Gordon Linwood, Alpha of the Red Rose pack! NOW!" I used my Alpha command to irritate him more.

He growled, "I accept," he said and charged at me. I dodged him and we started to circle each other.

He lept in the air and turned into his wolf. Not losing any second I also turned into my wolf. His senses were higher than any other wolf. So whenever we were on the same level of anger, or whenever we were in mutual understanding we were like one killing machine. Gordon charged at me going for my neck straight. We dodged and when his back was open we took hold of Gordon's neck and crushed it, tasting blood on my mouth, and the satisfying crack of his neck echoed through my ears. I dropped his body and turned into my human form. Now officially his pack belonged to me, I felt a bond connecting with every member of New Moon Pack. Sedrick gave me shorts to cover my modesty.

My eyes still were burning bright yellow. I looked at everyone in there and said loudly.

"If anybody objects, come forward!" nobody budged. "Take the former luna and her daughter to prison."

The beta of the Red Rose pack was instantly covering his mate. "I will not let you take my mate away!" he yelled.

"The interrogation will decide whether she will be executed or not," I said firmly with my alpha voice. He tried to resist but eventually lowered his head.

"I am proud of you son," my father said. "from now on, I, Richard Gonzales, Alpha of the New Moon pack Step down from my position, and give the ruling to my son, Marcellus Gonzales," he yelled, as he slit his palm and my smearing blood together. I Felt the rush in my blood, and connection to my pack strengthening. "I, Marcellus Gonzales accept the position of Alpha, thus I declare the union fo two packs New Moon pack and Red Rose pack, they become one under the name of Red Moon Pack." I said, everyone bowed. "Everyone, lets go to the first run," I said and took off to the woods. Everybody followed.

That day was the birth of big pack over 500 people. That day, I learned a lesson. My beta helped me through a lot.

I learned that no matter what, I need to double check, and be as ruthless as justified. Then it will come easy to conquer.

It turned out later that Alpha Gordon wanted to takeke our pack through the fake mate bond with the help of a witch's potion.

He forced his daughter to the marriage. But to his disadvantage his daughter found her mate. I banished her, but took the life of her mother. Silver moon pack took her in as she was the mate of the beta Cameroon.

Through the years I Built an Empire of my own. We do various businesses like Construction, Shipment, and real estate. I love my Job, it brings money and first of all, my wolves have a secure job, good income.

However I am becoming more and more aggressive, as I did not find my mate over the years.

Some desperate bitches tried to be my chosen mate. Wagging their tails, but they are no more than a stress reliever and good fu@# as long as they don't get too personal.

I will still be waiting for my mate.
