“Oh goddess,” Carmen whispered, watching what was unfolding before us.
Shaun moved toward Wes and grinned.
Nyx hummed while I smiled. I walked over to Sara while pulling Carmen with me while keeping my eyes on Shaun and Wes. I was so happy for both of them.
Carmen stopped by my side and smiled when she looked toward Sara. “Hi,” she said, holding her hand to her. “I’m Carmen, Sage’s friend.”
Sara smiled while her cheeks heated. “I’m Sara,” she murmured, glancing at me. “I’m her guardian,” I blurted out, which made Carmen’s eyes grow wide while I looked over to Alpha Philip, who seemed to smile at me.
“Sage,” he whispered while giving me a nod.
I smiled.
A few murmurs were going around until I heard a thud, which made us all stop. I looked around until my eyes landed on the boot
