Chapter Seven

[Keliche Shizamme Sandoval's Point of View]

I can’t think off straight, he caught me off guard when he’s asking me about my family. Of course, I miss them! Even if they throw me away like a trash, I still have a heart and I love them. I just walked towards my cubicle, I stayed silent while waiting for someone to hand me a task. I just hope that Mr. Craniard’s wrath is already done, I can’t bear another cleaning time, not today, not ever.

“Good Morning, Ms. Sandoval! Mr. Craniard wants to see you in his office.” A petite blonde girl told me so I groaned, she smiled at me. No not again!

“Maybe this is my last day here, pray for my soul.” I told her before walking towards Mr. Craniard’s office, being a good person, I knock before I came inside his office. He’s not alone because he’s with Mr. Frank Lessandro, the CEO of this company. How could I not know him? I idolized him a lot for being this successful after the big controversy he’s into years ago.

“G-good Morning, Sir?” I greeted them with my usual resting face, well, they can’t do something about it. They need to choose if they would take it or leave it, well, I guess it’s fine with them since they both smiled at me.

“Have a seat, Ms. Sandoval.” Mr. Frank said before showing me the chair in front of her so I sat there waiting for them to speak, if what was this meeting all about.

I heard Mr. Craniard cleared his throat, I want to laugh at him for being so nervous in front of the CEO, but since I’m too kind, I didn’t speak, I stayed silent.

“The rival company opened their autumn collection since they are still gathering trusts from the buyers and investors. Well, they achieved what they’ve done is hilarious and we’re losing sales. We need to open a collection before this month ends.” Mr. Frank said while holding a cup of coffee in his hand, I just stared at them, I didn’t dare to speak since I’m just a trainee here in the company, I have no rights to make a decision for them.

“And, I called you Ms. Sandoval because you are a great chemist, I know. I smelled the perfume you gave in the exhibit 2018 and the smell impressed me. You shouldn’t be here as a trainee, you should be here as a perfumer, you are great as well as, Mr. Alejandro, I’ll also talk to him later after you.” He said so I blushed, well, I’m free from the photocopying machine!

“Thank you, sir.” I told him so he smiled at me.

“So, if it’s okay with you and Mr. Craniard, I’ll promote you as a perfumer and you’ll be with the other perfumers to create the autumn collection.” Mr. Frank said which made me happy, hah! Take that, Mr. Craniard? I’m no longer a trainee!

“It’s very much okay for me, sir.” I answered him happily before looking at Mr. Craniard who is now rolling his eyes on me. Well, you’re not going to be the boss of me anymore!

“It’s okay for me, as well.” Mr. Craniard said, giving approval for my sudden promotion. I want to jump in the air because I can’t contain my joy! I can’t believe that I’m no longer a trainee, hah!

“Okay, meeting adjourned. And Ms. Sandoval, can you call Mr. Alejnadro because we’re going to talk to him as well since he’s a good perfumer too.” Mr. Frank said making Mr. Craniard smile, of course, why can’t he? He has a huge crush on Khyzrr, hmp! This unidentified human being!

I nodded, he seemed so confused while looking at me. Well, yes I can be happy but I can’t smile, you see? So, I didn’t mind them. I just walked out of the room and it seems like destiny played with me again, I bumped in a hard human body so I almost fell on the ground, good thing that the person I bumped into supported my back and pulled me close to his body. Of course, he’s a boy because I smelled his manly scent and I already knew who he is!

“K-khyzrr…” I stuttered while whispering his name as I looked at him, he has that cold expression, is he mad at me because of what happened a while ago? Well, I don’t care about him.

“Yes?”

I almost gulp my soul because of he’s coldness, “Ah, the CEO wanted to talk to you, He’s inside, excuse me.” I told him before walking away, away from him, away from his coldness.

I just walked towards my cubicle where I can feel the presence of the people staring at me, but I didn’t mind them and just looked at my desktop and do nothing because they haven’t give a task to me so I just played pinball because I have nothing else to do since I didn’t bring my book with me.

“I heard someone’s going to be promoted today…”

I heard someone’s talking beside me, they can’t just respect someone else privacy. I mentally face-palmed myself, they are so noisy. But since I have nothing else to do, I just listen to my noisy workmates. It’s not bad to fished some news sometimes. Ugh, so much more for having respect of privacy.

“I heard that they both won some awards before getting inside this company.” The girl with bangs said while shoving her bangs away from her face. Is she some kind of stupid or what? She made that kind of hairstyle then she’s shoving the style away.

“Really? Won something? Maybe it’s Trixie since she’s always saying that she won this and that. Well, she’s intelligent, I think. But we don’t know who.” The girl with a boy cut said while typing something on her desktop. Really? Trixie, huh? That Barbie girl, she can’t even finish a work for a day and now she’s proclaiming that she’s an achiever. I pity her, she’s trying hard to fish some attention from others. She loves being on top, I see. Well, she’s like me but me? I can gain top spot again without blabbering lies to everyone.

“Ice…”

Someone called me and I know who is he so I immediately turn to face him, he looks so happy. And even without my approval, the walking dimple hugged me! Seriously? This guy doesn’t have any shyness in his body. I looked around only to see that everyone is so confused while looking at us so I pulled away from the hug and pinch his arm.

“Why are you hugging me without my consent? You, son of a --.”

He didn’t even let me finish because he hugged me again, so I just stared at the see of confused faces blankly. After a few seconds, I think? He pulled out from the hug.

“We’re going to be perfumers!” He said, I mentally face-palmed myself while looking at his giddy face, he’s so happy well, I am too, but not as happy as him.

“That’s enough. I’m hungry already, let’s go eat.” I said to him, he nodded before stretching his hand to me but I just shrugged and walked pass him. Well, Mr. Frank is now walking towards us, smiling so I’m confused. What will he do this time?

“I’ll treat you both to lunch since you just got promoted.” He said while looking at me and Khyzrr, well, it’s not bad if we’ll have a lunch with the CEO right? Just this once, plus, I don’t want to reject this kind of blessing.

“Sure, sir.” I answered before we walked towards the elevator, it seems like Mojojo and her powerpuff girls is bitter because while looking at them, they are glaring at me. If looks could kill, I’m probably be dead right now but that’s it! Take that, Trixie! She’s just good in blabbering with her unfiltered mouth using her brain, wait, I don’t even know if that girl has a brain.

We walked towards the elevator and luckily there is no one inside so there is just the three of us plus the elevator girl. I don’t even know why there have to be an elevator girl here in the company.

“It’s an honor that I have two great chemists in my company.” Mr. Frank said while typing something on his phone. Well, he’s a busy businessman and it’ such an honor that he will treat us for lunch, such a great guy.

“Thank you, sir.” Khyzrr and I both said, well, he’s been silent for a while now. Mr. Frank chuckled which made my panty fell from the ground, joke! I’m a talkative imaginer, you know.

“So, are you both dating someone?” He asked us, well, I have no suitor, oh wait! I have one, is Khyzrr counted as my suitor? Well, he nearly acts like my boyfriend, but I don’t know, I’m not sure.

“No/Yes.” Oops, we aren’t thinking the same, I answered no while he answered yes, well, I’m confused too! I don’t know what is our relationship with each other! Or maybe he’s really dating someone and that someone isn’t me. I felt sad.
