Chapter Seventeen

[Keliche Shizamme Sandoval's Point of View]

I woke up at 4:30 in the morning since I don’t want to starve myself, I really don’t want to jog, exercising isn’t really my thing. I’m not an athletic person but he’s making it unfair since I don’t have a lot of money with me! That guy! I want to curse him badly but I just can’t, what if he’ll get mad at me and leave me here? I don’t know how to go home for whoever’s sake!

I immediately got up from the bed and find a very decent sports attire but I couldn’t find one. I don’t even have a rubber shoes. What? I’m going to run barefoot here in Tagaytay? No way! I’m problematic while thinking what to wear when Khyzrr went inside my room, holding a paper bag and I see that he’s already in his sports attire while me? I don’t know what to wear.

“I see that you’re up early.” He said before handing me the paper bag so I opened it. I saw a pair of rubber shoes and a legging. I looked at him, he’s hair’s so messed up again, he’s still on his morning look, I bet he didn’t take a bath or shower yet.

“I’ll just change.” I said while picking a random shirt to pair up with the black legging and I stayed loyal to a white shirt with a pussycat design on the upper left part. Well, it’s kind of cute. I immediately ran towards the bathroom and change, I even pulled my hair up into a messy half-ponytail since I don’t have a comb with me. Well, my new hair color’s giving up a positive vibe while my face’s giving a negative one though it’s fine with me. No one’s judging me yet, just Khyzrr since he’s too judgmental and talkative for his own sake.

“I’m done.” I announced when I finished changing my outfit and just got out of the bathroom while Khyzrr’s fixing my bed. He’s too organized than other men, wow, maybe he’s really a gay, he just can’t accept it right now but he’s so near, I think.

“What are you thinking, Ice? I’m not a gay.” He said before dragging me outside the room, he loves dragging me everywhere! I think one of my wrist bone’s already broken, he’s always dragging me there, here, everywhere!

“Please, stop dragging me to places. I hate it!” I hissed at him before pulling my hand away, luckily, he let me go. The people inside the elevator’s looking at us right now. Did I just make a scene? Did I?

“You stole their eyes, Ice.” Khyzrr whispered that gives me shivers down my spine, he’s really creepy, I’m telling you! He’s always creeping me out, when he’s whispering, he sounds like my conscience and I’m not kidding!

“Just keep quiet, please.” I answered while waiting for the elevator to reach ground floor, I think I’m going to melt, I mean, they are all staring at us! I’m so embarrassed but I don’t know why am I this embarrassed, I didn’t even do anything wrong to make them stare at me!

“You’re really pretty, miss. And I mean it.”

I looked at the back of the man who just got out of the elevator, wait, what did he just say?

“Ugh, he pissed me off. My day’s ruined already.” Khyzrr whispered to himself but enough for me to hear it before I felt his hands surrounded my shoulders. Wow, this boy’s really unbelievable!

“Don’t you dare move or else, I’ll leave you here.” He whispered to my ear so I was left with no choice again. He’s a pro in blackmailing! I’m telling you, he’s a pro!

Until we reached the ground floor, I didn’t dare to move or speak, I don’t want him to leave me here. I love my work and my life, I don’t want to be a beggar here.

“We’re running a kilometer or two from here, are you in?” He asked, I just nodded but I want to say,

“No but since you’re always blackmailing me I needed to say yes, you piece of s**t!”

“I know that you hate me right now but please, I just want to spend some time with you, Ice. Stop acting so cold as your name right now.” He pleaded before he started to jog away from me, well, I have no plans to do it so I just walked like a normal person will do, well, we’ll still reach the place, just a little slow though but that’s okay, I think.

“Start jogging!” He shouted while he stopped a hundred meters from me, I think but I just moved my face sideways and signaled my hand to him to just go and don’t mind me. Well, walking here in Tagaytay early in the morning feels so cold and I think I’m not even sweating because of the coldness of the place at this hour.

“Wow, I can’t even see my feet. The place’s covered with fog! It’s a lot of fogger here than Baguio, I think. Well, I’m not waking up in Baguio early in the morning since my class starts at 10 in the morning.

Minutes later, I saw Khyzrr sitting in a bench, holding two bottles of water. I bet he’s already tired, he’s too far from me a while ago, when I say far, I really mean it like a kilometer far or less than that but farther than five-hundred meters.

“You walked so slow.” He commented before handing me a bottle of water so I just rolled my eyes before drinking it, well, I’m not that tired. I just walked from the hotel to here, wow, the Taal Lake’s visible from here already, the Taal Volcano too. Too bad, I didn’t get the chance to bring my phone since Khyzrr dragged me outside of the room without any valuables with me.

“You want me to take pictures of you?” He asked while wiggling his eyebrows, I rolled my eyes before finishing the bottle of water he gave me a while ago.

“You’ll do that for me?” I returned his question, he nodded before getting his phone on his pocket, so he’s not bluffing, huh? He’ll took a picture of me, seriously?

“I want to be a boyfriend material, you know.” He said before walking towards the railings so I just followed him. He’s really serious on me, huh? Tsk, I know that he’ll get tired eventually, I knew guys like him, they easily get bored. Ugh, I knew this style already.

“Make a pose now, Ice. Don’t make me wait.” He said so I immediately made a pose, well, all of my poses have a blank or fierce expression but my photographer’s smiling like an i***t.

“Are you really taking pictures of me or you’re just playing around?” I asked him, he smiled before walking towards me, he leaned on the railings which made him look like a supermodel, no, scratch that, he really looks like a Greek God, sort of like Aries or Poseidon.

“I’m smiling while taking pictures of you because you’re so beautiful and even though you’re not smiling, you nailed every angle.” He said before taking some pictures of the whole area, the fog’s not that thick anymore and the view’s bizarre, it’s so wonderful.

After we took pictures, we walked side by side towards an eatery, it looks like they serve some breakfast so we entered it. Maybe we’re the first customer since the eatery just opened, the staffs are still busy cleaning the entire area so we greeted them,

“Good Morning.”

They smiled at us while they’re doing their job and giving us the menu of their eatery. I saw Khyzrr smiling while looking at the menu, I find it weird but I just let it pass and just stayed silent.

“I’ll order a large bowl of mami, you?” He asked me, I shrugged before answering,

“I want a goto please, with egg.” He laughed when he heard my answer. I just rolled my eyes before putting the menu on the table.

“I thought you’re adding some cheese again.” He said before he walked towards the counter-like place where you can say your orders.
