Chapter Fifteen

[Keliche Shizamme Sandoval's Point of View]

“Ice, we’re already here?”

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Khyzrr holding his phone again so I rolled my eyes.

“Did you take some pictures of me again?” I asked him while taking off my seatbelt. He smiled before nodding and taking some pictures of me again. I just shrugged before looking outside, wow, the fog’s really thick because it fogged up the car’s window.

“Shall we go outside to find a room for us?” He asked me, I just nodded before going outside before him, he’s always slow, I wonder if he’s a snail or a turtle in his past life.

“Why are you so slow?” I asked him before walking towards the hotel’s entrance, this man’s insane. Does it mean that we’re going to stay here for a couple of days? It looks so expensive! Even though he’s rich, he should know how to save some money. Well, I kind of see myself in him when I was still in our house.

“Good Evening, Ma’am.” The receptionist greeted me so I just nodded before I waited for the snail to finally reach the lobby. What’s taking him so long? Geez. When I saw him, he smiled at me but he resumes talking to someone over the phone, maybe it’s her sister again.

“Two Presidential --.” I immediately stopped him, he gave me a confused look so I dragged him a bit far from the receptionist first since there’s someone behind us too. They should go first before us.

“We’re not going to take a presidential suite.” I told him, he just stared at me while crossing his arms on his chest.

“Don’t think about the money, I can handle it.” He answered before he started walking towards the receptionist again so I have no choice but to follow him. I can’t stop him now; I have no force to do it so I will never mind his business again.

When he was done talking to the receptionist, he immediately dragged me towards the elevator, I mean, he’s always holding my hand whenever and wherever. The nerve of this guy! He’s being so confident now, huh? I bet Alana’s making an effort to help him.

“The elevator’s here.” He announced before dragging me inside again, some people are staring at us and I’m a bit embarrassed. Some of them may think that I’m his some kind of dog or something so I pulled my hand away.

“Why do you keep on pulling your hand away whenever I hold it like this?” He asked me while he holds my hand again, I just rolled my eyes before whispering,

“I don’t want them to look at me, I’m not an attention seeker like you.” I answered as I tried to pulled my hand away but he’s holding it with more force this time so I gave up and just wait for our floor when someone spoke,

“Are you both a celebrity?”

Khyzrr and I both looked at the woman in her mid-twenties, she’s holding a toddler in her left hand and a phone on the right, we both move our head sideways.

“I thought you are, you’re both beautiful and handsome. You look good with each other.” She said before going out of the elevator at the 7th floor. I wonder, what floor is our room located.

“What floor will we go out?” I asked him, he continued typing something on his phone using his right hand because he’s holding my hand on the left.

“17th.” He answered without looking at me so I bit his shoulders, he can’t even look at me while answering my question!

With that, he immediately looked at me before smiling, “Why did you bit me? I’m just talking to my sister. I’m not cheating on you.” He said making a scene, and because of my embarrassment, I pulled my hand away and covered my face with both of my hands but the stupid walking dimple’s show isn’t over yet! He even encircled his arms on my waist and pulled me closer to him that earns a lot of shouts and screams inside the elevator.

THIS IS THE MOST EMBRASSING MOMENT OF MY LIFE!

“Just stay still or I’ll let you sleep on the car for a night.” He whispered so I have no choice but to stay still beside him since he’s the one who paid for the room, I’ll just wrestle him later when we’re on our floor already. A few minutes later,

“17th floor.” The elevator girl announced so we walked towards the door to exit the elevator, until now, I can’t believe with what just happened, I’ve never been humiliated my whole life!

“I hate you!” I shouted before twisting his arms but since he’s stronger than me, he just let me slip and he carried me like a sack of rice towards a room, he even opened the door while carrying me, of course, he’ll just swipe the card off. I bet he’s been in this hotel a lot since he doesn’t even need someone to accompany us towards our room.

“Don’t you ever --!” I was about shout the words, “Don’t you ever throw me away” but he just did, he threw me on the bed, well, it’s a soft and comfortable bed, it’s huge. It’s a king size bed! We can even share a bed here, he doesn’t need to use the other room but no, let him mind his own business.

“This is your room. I’ll be back.” He said after he dropped some of the paper bags on the table and exited the room. Geez, I think I need to have a hot shower since it’s so cold. The AC’s on too. I bet I need to use some extra blankets later on.

I immediately walk towards the paper bags and took a panda pair of pajamas, well, Khyzrr chose this for me. Such a kiddo.

“Are you going to take a shower already?” He asked while he entered the room again, I nodded before going inside the bathroom. Yes! There’s a tub and a lot of shower gels too, I guess that I’ll be spending a lot of time inside this comfort room. I really love relaxing inside a tub, full of rose petals and full of shower gels.

“I’ll just relax for 10 minutes since steam is bad for the health, it makes a person feel dizzy.” I whispered to myself before going inside the tub.

“Goodness gracious. This is so relaxing.” I told to myself while slightly closing my eyes and I didn’t notice that I already fell asleep inside the tub while enjoying the warmth of the water temperature.

“Open the damn door, Ice!”

I slowly opened my eyes when I heard loud noises, someone’s banging the door. Maybe it’s Khyzrr, no one has the key of this room except for him. I thought I was just dreaming!

“I’m almost done! Stop banging the door already!” I shouted back before getting out of the tub and stand under the shower.

“The hot water felt so nice and comfortable.” I told myself while rinsing all the bubbles. Well, I think I took another ten minutes for that before I change into the pajamas Khyzrr bought for me.

I stepped out of the bathroom when suddenly a warm body enveloped me so I look at him, his heartbeat isn’t in its normal speed, did he run or something?

“Why is your heart beating so fast?” I asked him, confused with what’s happening to him. But he just stayed silent for another minute before pulling out from the hug, his eyes are red.

“Did you cry or something?” I asked him while looking at his bloodshot eyes, he just shrugged before walking out if the room.

What’s up with that guy? He became so weird after taking a bath. He left me here while I’m so hungry! My stomach’s grumbling, I guess that I’ll sleep hungry tonight.
