Chapter Twenty

[Khyzrr Khryss Alejandro's Point of View]

I immediately looked away when I realized what I did. I stole her second freaking kiss in public for whoever’s sake! I startled when I felt a soft hand on my shoulders, so I looked at her and she’s already glaring at me.

“I-I’m sorry!” I told her, she just gave me another glare before walking away from me and I got confused, she has no money or anything, she has no car too. What on earth is she doing?

“Is she the heiress of the Sandovals?”

“You mean the one that, you know, they threw out?”

“Oh, she’s getting her luck to the heiress of Alejandros, huh?”

“Such a gold digger.”

I immediately looked at the girls who is currently talking about Keliche and me, they looked like a puppy ready to burst their tears out. Scaredy-cats!

“You don’t know anything so f**k off.” I told them before following Keliche wherever she’s going. She loves to leave me behind like I’m not existing.

While I was walking towards her, I looked at the people who are whispering, probably gossiping around her. How can she do that? Dealing with it like she’s powerless? She can even make them burn on the ground with her mouth, seriously? What’s on her mind?

“Such a pathetic loser.”

“She’s nothing without her family.”

“Yea, right. She’s just famous because she’s still bearing her family name.”

“If you’re just gossiping around her, better leave before you will regret everything that you said.” I said with a stern voice making them to look at me. I slowly walked towards Keliche who’s just looking at them using her blank expression, she’s trying hard to cover the sadness in her eyes.

“Ice, let’s go.” I told her, she looked at me before she started rolling her eyes and standing in front of the people surrounding us. They looked at her with disbelief.

“Yes, I’m the daughter of whoever family or clan you’re saying. I became part of it a long time ago but not until now, I’m Keliche Sandoval and I’m a chemist in the making. I don’t need those people to do a favor or to pull some strings for me. I can live on my own and I’m better off without them. Did that satisfy your thoughts? Don’t start bitching with my life because you’ll see how b***h I am. You think you’re all a b***h well people, thing again. I’m bitcher.” She said before walking out, I mean, dragging me out of the scene she had made.

“I hate being like that in front of other people. f**k them.” She uttered while marching towards an ice cream parlor, really? There isn’t any store ahead! Is she, is she going to eat ice cream? For real? Why do I feel so excited with this?

“Do you have some money with you?” She asked me while we’re entering the ice cream parlor, I just nodded as an answer. I mean, I can’t contain the happiness I’m feeling because she’s going to eat something sweet!

“Good Morning, ma’am. We have a very large smooth vanilla and chocolate, also, we have the promo until tomorrow that you’ll the one who’ll create your own ice cream, well, that’s what the customers asked for so, what do you want to order, ma’am?” The ice cream vendor politely asked, he’s even smiling at her but she just stared back with a blank aura. Really? When will you ever make the world see your smile? I really bet that it’s very beautiful.

“I just want a glass of water with full of ice cubes, can you give that?” She asked while tapping her fingers on the glass cabinet in front where the toppings and flavors can be found. I looked at her with disbelief, is she even real?

“Right away, ma’am. Sir, what do you want to order?” He asked looking at me with a confused look too, maybe he thinks that I’m weird or abnormal too, well, just Keliche, she’s unique on her own abnormal way.

“A large cup of soft chocolate sundae with strawberries for me. I’ll pay for the glass of water too.” I answered while trying hard to stop the laugh that’s about to burst out. Really? The ice cream vendor just smiled before nodding so I just walked towards a vacant place around the ice cream parlor before laughing out loud, I don’t care if other people would look at me but I just can’t help it. I thought she’s going to buy an ice cream already!

“The people are looking at us again, geez, can you stop yourself from gaining too much attention?” She asked before browsing on her phone, I just laughed at her more causing her to roll her eyes.

“Why the hell would you buy a glass of water inside an ice cream parlor? Are you out of your mind? The ice cream vendor looked so confused, maybe he thought that you’re abnormal or something?” I answered while holding my stomach, controlling myself not to laugh again.

“It’s the nearest store so I assumed that they have some water because I’m really thirsty. You just assumed that I’ll buy an ice cream, well, dream on.” She answered before she continued what she’s doing.

Few minutes later, our order arrived and with that she immediately drank her water and I dig into my softie ice cream, I really love my ice cream soft. It’s delicious and it looks really good.

“Where are we going after this?” She asked, she didn’t bother to leave at least a single drop of water, even the ice cubes are already gone. Did she eat it or something?

“You want to play some of their booths here or you want to try another ride again?” I also asked her, I don’t want to make her angry at me again because of what happened a while ago, well, she looked like she’s already so I bet that she’s already okay. Her recovery is fast like a speed of lightning.

“Let’s play some booths, well, I want to try a shooting booth and get a prize. I never tried it before since I’m a bit, oh not a bit, I’m too sheltered for my own sake.” She answered as she waited for me to finish my ice cream.

After I finished eating, we immediately made our way towards the booths, where they are fishing booth, shooting booth, crane booth, well, that’s kind of unique crane booth. I want to try that later, they will make you as the crane and they will bring you down in a container full of snacks and teddy bears after that you’ll get everything you got.

“I want to play that game too, later.” Keliche pointed the crane booth, well, we should definitely try that but the problem is they are so many people on the line!

Few seconds later, we already found the basketball booth where you are given three chances to shoot the ball in one of the three nets visible in front, maybe 3 yards far from where we are. I paid for 6 balls so we have more chances of winning, there is a lot of choices including huge teddy bears.

“I’ll have the first three shots.” Keliche told me before the crew handed her the first three balls. I looked at her, her face looks so dull but her eyes are telling otherwise, she’s happy.

“What if I’ll shoot this three balls, I’ll have three teddy bears?” She asked, the crew nodded. I looked at her, does she know how to play basketball?

Few seconds later, she began shooting the balls, I mean she really shoot the ball on the three rings! Those three freaking balls! All the people around us looked at her with amazement! This girl’s so full of surprise, I mean, I didn’t know that she can even shoot those balls!

Absentmindedly, I gave her the three balls too but she refused and told me to just go on while she’s holding the bunny bear, monster bear, and the bird-looking bear. s
