[Khyzrr Khryss Alejandro's Point of View]
We’ve been walking around the amusement park the whole day. We’ve been trying all of the rides and booth there is to try and we’ll try the giant wheel later before we go home, I just want everything to be perfect because I want them to stop the wheel when the fireworks began exploding.
“What time are we going home?” She asked while we’re sitting on the grass, well, it’s just an artificial grass where everyone can sit around, I mean, yes, literally everyone because it’s a very big grass park.
“Later at 8pm, we still have lots to do.” I lied because we literally did everything a while ago, we tried the tower and fall, roller coaster and many more. Keliche’s the real life no reaction figure when it comes to extreme or even mellow rides, she’s like some stranger sitting or standing in the ride like she’s just passing by or something, nothing’s thrilling for her, I think.
“Can we eat dinner now? I want to eat some of the street foods there.” She pointed the stalls where we can find a lot of people, maybe we should try that one.
“It’s your first time?” I asked, she nodded while looking on the grass, I think or she’s just averting her gaze unto something but I held her hand tight to make her look at me.
“My mom used to tell me that they had bacteria, one time when my nanny told me to just stay inside the car and she got out because she said that she will be fixing something, I saw a street food vendor near the car so I asked the driver politely if I could go there and eat some or even just a tiny bit. He agreed since he looked like he pitied me, so we both go to the street food vendor but before I can even taste what they taste like, mom appeared out of the blue and that’s the last time I saw our driver.” She said while looking at me, I can’t imagine the face of the driver when Keliche’s mom fired him just because of that, what a lame excuse to fire someone. I pity her.
“Come on, let’s eat some. Your mom isn’t here and it’s delicious.” I said before I started dragging her towards the line of our first stop, I don’t know what’s waiting there but I knew that we’ll definitely like it because it’s so many people standing in line.
Few moments later, we got a mixed cup where you can eat variety of street foods they are selling, I mean, it’s a huge cup and all are inside for just a couple of pennies.
“What’s this? It looks like an orange ball, does it taste like orange?” Keliche asked while looking at the kwek-kwek she’s about to eat so I signaled her to just eat it because it’s a quail egg covered with flour and they just put some food coloring on it before they fry it.
“Is this quail egg?” She asked while she’s munching the kwek-kwek in her mouth so I just nodded, I saw her finished all the kwek-kwek and tried another and another and another until the very last inside her cup. I had fun watching her eat all that because she’s always asking, “What’s this? Is this something?”
We just roam around again until we found ourselves falling in line towards the giant wheel and I looked at Keliche’s eyes. She looked like a kid who is about to cry in joy because her childhood dream will finally come true and I will make it more special for her.
“Oh my! We’re going to ride it next!” She shouted while she’s stomping her feet, true enough, a vacant spot stopped in front of us so they opened the gate and I looked at her and signaled her to go first, s she nodded before going inside of the, honestly, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s looked like a mini cabin for me.
When we got inside, I looked at Keliche and she’s just sitting in front of me and even though she’s not doing anything, I found her cute because I think she’s scared!
“D-distract me, please. Oh my, we’re moving!” She said before holding her sit, no looking anywhere so I sat beside her and she gasped at me in horror.
“We’re not balance! Go back there!” She said before pushing me but I just sat there beside her, and started to hum to make a distraction.
When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?
I looked at her, she’s just looking at me. Maybe she’s starting to calm down, it shows because her gripped on my shirt’s loosened and she’s now looking at me like an i***t.
“I can open the window for you, you’ll regret if you don’t.” I told her so she nodded but when I was about to stand up, she pulled me causing me too lose my balance so I looked at her while laughing, “What? I’m scared, just let me hold your shirt for a little while.” She said so I just opened the window and got back to where I was sitting before, beside her.
Well, I won't give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up
“I didn’t know that it’s so beautiful to be on top of this, not because I wanted to be the most intelligent or the richest person ever existed but the beauty of the world below is so amazing even though it’s a bit frightening at first.” She said while looking at the beauty of the taal volcano from our spot, it’s so damn beautiful.
Seconds later, the wheel stopped exactly on the topmost part and I looked at my clock, “Just in time.” I whispered but Keliche looked at me so I assume that she heard me.
“Just in time for --.” She was about to ask when a beautiful firework exploded, she stopped while looking at the fireworks. I looked at it with amazement too, I bet my workers will nail this job I’ve given to them, I’ll just give them some bonus for making it this beautiful.
After a few minutes of that, Keliche thought that it’s already finished when a loud boom exploded and I saw what the finale says,
Your smile will light up my world so please,
Smile for me.
Not now but please, smile for me in this lifetime.
I’ll be waiting.
After it vanished into thin air, Keliche slowly looked at me, she’s tearing up!
“Did you make that?” She asked so I nodded as an answer, our cabin gently goes down and we’re minutes away from the ground.
“I didn’t know that it’ll be this special but just a thank you gift. Can you allow me to kiss you?” She asked before looking down so I held her head and made me look at me.
“You can ask it anytime but tonight would be the perfect time.” I answered before giving her a kiss, not in front of everyone but just the two of us.
After a few seconds, I pulled out from the kiss because I have to stop, I pulled out not because I want to but because I have to.
“3rd.” I whispered before looking straightly into her eyes. She has a very cold personality but she’s changing. I know that I can break those walls surrounding her heart and I won’t give up on her, on us.
After a few minutes, we found ourselves walking towards my car which means were ready to go back to the hotel and the day ended well, for me. I don’t know if it ended well for her because I don’t know what she’s feeling about her day right now. I hope she’s happy.
“Walking Dimple, thank you for bringing me here. I’ll treasure this day forever.” She said before walking towards the passenger seat. I can’t help but to smile, she’s being cheesy for a moment.
