Before we knew it, graduation was upon us. Marie spent the rest of the week at the packhouse after she marked Kate, which was a surprise to no one. Even her parents knew it was only a matter of time after finding her mate that she’d want to move in with her. Turns out, Daniel purposefully gave Kate the room meant for visiting Alphas. He earmarked it for them until we inherited our roles at the leadership ritual. I suppose I’ll need one too once I turn 18, since it’ll be awkward to start my new life with Josh under my parents’ roof.
