I walked out of the meeting thinking hard. The fight between Nate and Daniel was awkward and I was worried about Nate, but I trusted Marcus to help him. Since there wasn’t much I could do about the situation, it was better to dive into my work.
I had told Daniel I wanted to do a rotating watch of the pub that Sarah worked at, but it was honestly a half baked idea. I hadn’t bothered thinking about it too much because I figured that Daniel would shoot my idea down. I only suggested it so he would at least think I’d been working hard even if I knew he thought I was incompetent.
