I know that sometimes the relationship between Nate and Daniel can get a bit strained. After all, Daniel is pretty old-fashioned, and Nate is not exactly the spitting image of the perfect son of the Alpha. I know Daniel loves Nate, but I can tell that he gets frustrated that Nate seems so different from him. I can imagine it’s hard for him to feel like he connects with his son when they’re so different. The relationship has actually seemed a lot less strained since Nate gave up his claim to being Alpha, but situations like this made the old wounds come back with a vengeance.
