Julian struggled to reign in his breathing after Anthony left, but he couldn't. It was too much. Seeing his mate and tasting those delicious lips left him wanting more. His wolf was howling with happiness. He hadn't lost hope on their mate, and Julian had mocked him repeatedly for that. 'I told you he will come back.' The wolf bragged with a newfound confidence. Julian scoffed, pulling on his hair angrily. 'I will not be his burden.' He huffed. 'How long do you think it will take before he feels that we are weighing him down?' 'He loves us.' The wolf argued passionately. 'And we are no better than a cripple at this point.' Julian growled. 'I won't have him take care of our blind ass forever. It wouldn't be fair. He already has a son to worry about.' The wolf didn't retort immediately
