The Willow family quickly realized that they couldn’t just leave Bramble alone in the forest. Something magical and important was happening in Oakwood, and if the trees were moving, that could only mean trouble.
“We have to help him get home,” Emma insisted, her eyes filled with determination.
“Are you sure it’s safe?” asked Dad, concerned.
Bramble chirped again. “It’s safe if we stick together. But we must hurry. The Heart of the Forest is in danger.”
With a mixture of excitement and worry, the Willows packed up a few supplies and set off on an adventure deeper into the forest than they had ever gone before. The trees grew taller, the air cooler, and strange sounds echoed from every direction.
Along the way, the family encountered all sorts of wonders—talking animals, glowing flowers, and rivers that shimmered with the colors of the rainbow. But the further they went, the more they noticed how different the forest had become. Some trees had twisted into odd shapes, while others blocked paths that were once open.
“This place feels...alive,” Lucy said, looking up at the towering branches above.
“That’s because it is,” Bramble explained. “The forest is connected to the Heart. If something happens to it, the whole forest will fall into chaos.”
