Chapter 15 The early morning calls of the animals woke him. Even though the first light peeked over the sea, it was still dark in the shelter. Rain dripped and ran off the leaves, and birds shook water from their feathers. He leaned up on his elbows and looked over at Maru. He had turned over on his back at some point in the night. The skin tied around his waist stuck straight up in the air. A giant orb the size of Sartin’s fist stuck out from underneath it.
