The next time she saw Travis was as Sonia, which was just as well since as Isabel she’d have found it near-impossible to hide the matter on her mind.
“Are you sure Lucy’s really worth that?” was Travis’s reaction.
“Somehow I’ve got to.”
“You can get other girls. The next Emily event. What Lucy wants isn’t going to be nice for you.”
“I know, I know. But I’ve got to have a one-on-one with Lucy.”
