He assembled them late morning (no getting up early) in one of the lounges, and told them they’d be going to a swimming pool outside which was specially roped off for them. “Get your clothes off in your rooms and assemble back here,” he said. “Bring your swimming costumes, but don’t put them on.” Isabel undressed in her room and returned wearing a dressing gown, holding her swimming costume in her hand. So did two other girls, but the other three came downstairs unselfconsciously nude, ignoring startled looks from the receptionists and whoever else was around.
