Chapter 24 Korrin’s mood was stormy, to say the least. He sat in the tent, on his chair, with Ruslo pacing around behind him. “I said no, Ruslo,” Korrin repeated for the fifth or sixth time. He’d lost count. “Korrin, just listen. Do you really think that he’s going to just lay down and let you take over as King? He’d rather die than do that. So, we should let him.” “I’m not going to murder an innocent man,” Korrin roared. “He’s not innocent!” Ruslo yelled back, almost as fierce as Korrin was. He looked down at the ground: he knew he shouldn’t talk to his King that way, but it had slipped out. Korrin was fine with it.
